Perfect for a quick layover! I stayed here for one night before my flight and it was excellent value for money. The highlight of the hotel is the cool indoor-outdoor seating area right in the middle of the building—a great place to relax. Simple, clean, and very convenient.

Location is perfect — walking distance to malls, restaurants, and many food options just outside the hotel. Cleanliness: 3/5 — medyo hindi ganun kalinis ang room, and considering the affordable price, don’t expect too much in terms of amenities. The toilet was also a bit hard to flush. But overall, it’s a perfect place if you’re just looking for an overnight stay and mainly for sleeping. Good value for budget travelers.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 days and absolutely loved it! It's the most modern hotel we've encountered on Palawan. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the breakfasts we ordered were quite good for us. The water pressure was excellent, and we had plenty of hot water. I asked for a hairdryer, and they provided one! Highly recommend! It's also conveniently located near the boardwalk, a market, the cathedral, SM, and other supermarkets!!

We loved that the place is right in the center of Coron, super convenient for walking around to restaurants and souvenir shops. We also availed their Super Ultimate Tour, which we really enjoyed! There’s a convenience store right beside the property, which was great for grabbing food and water. The Wi-Fi connection was very reliable, we were able to work at night and still go on a tour in the morning without any issues haha. The room is very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Overall, a great stay and we would definitely recommend this place!

Enjoyed my stay here, enjoyed the time I spent in Puerto Princesa thanks to the owner of this place. It’s a very small town with limited resources but enjoyable nonetheless!

It's unclear who came up with the idea of building a hostel inside a restaurant. The doors and walls are made of OSB, so the rooms constantly smell of food. There's always noise outside, so you can only rest when the restaurant isn't open. While hostel guests try to maintain silence during the day and especially in the evening, the restaurant and hostel staff simply don't care, and they can talk loudly until midnight. The girl who works the reception desk in the evening is incredibly stupid; she can't understand or answer even a basic question. Also, two days before my departure, I asked for an airport transfer, and even though it was 50 pesos more expensive than the tricycles outside, I agreed because I wanted to be sure they would definitely pick me up since I was booking a tricycle from the hostel. I reminded them of this request the evening before my departure; I was leaving early in the morning. In the end, no tricycle arrived; the night manager said, ”Tricycle not available.” WHAT??? I ended up having to catch a tricycle in the dark on the road because I had no idea how long it would have taken if I'd called one through an app. The hostel itself isn't bad, but the staff's lackadaisical attitude immediately lowers my rating.

Casa Belina staff were the most friendly, welcoming and accommodating that is! Super clean, A/C worked perfectly, they took care of our laundry and welcomed us with a drink. Their hospitality is superb and they are are always super willing to help. Absolutely recommended and also conveniently located, not far from a good variety of restaurants, malls and the airport.

The hotel location is not perfect. But I liked the hotel atmosphere. The hotel is between Sabang and Palangan beach. Also you can go there by tricycle within 15 minutes (30 peso for person) or walk within 50 minutes. Also You should try the View Point restaurant near the hotel, which has amazing view. I think it would be fantastic if the hotel added breakfast, or sold alcohol, or offered small things like slippers and shampoo. I would be go to hotel if I ever come back.

Total result was okay, the ladies was very friendly and polite, the room missing a lot of stuff though like there was a lot of things missing.no fridge no tv the only thing was available was a bed, 2 pillows,a tiny cover for night , 2 shower towels and a small closet enough for your bag.dont leave food at the room there will be eaten by ants as area has a problem with them, also killed a cockroach 😀 Soo if you have issues with insects it's not recommended for you...the price is very very cheap though but sometimes it's better comfort for money...and better lock your door cause there was an incident where there came people opened the door and wanted to bless the room,we was chilling in bed and forgot to lock 😂 Overall it's budget friendly but I would recommend it only if you are really short on budget...

BBhrandonThe room looks very old, the mattresses are foam, the plugs generate little confidence, the truth is that for the little you pay you could say that it is normal, don't expect much. The bathroom is another world, the toilet bowl does not have a base to sit on, so it is very unhygienic when using it, either that or urinate and do your business without touching the bowl. The shower does not have much pressure, so if you are going to take a shower it is better to use the faucet under the shower and fill a bucket and bathe with the bucket of water. The door to the women's bathroom is broken from below, so it can cause a bit of insecurity, although I honestly don't think people will care much.

MmischiefSai AestravThe Casa's location is just up ahead from the Coron main road which you can take tricycle to go anywhere in the Coron Town Proper, it is also near the St. Agustin Church, and near to BPI, Andoks, Pacifico, Maria L's Cake House and Café. The Casa is basically and technically near to popular places, you only need to walk down to the Coron main road and grab a tricycle and jist tell the driver the place you want to go. The room I was in were good to sleep in, the aircondition works, I basically turned off the AC when the room cool enough then open the electric fan. You can use their kitchen which I discovered late but it's fine since I always out touring, I just wish that the care taker orient me ahead on what can I access or use. I spoke to the owner ober the phone, he is not here in the Casa but still helped me to be picked up from and to the airport and the Casa. There are no staff to fully accomodate you since this is not a hotel but more like a house where you rent room to stay in to sleep and bathe, but you can ask people who were staying here probably the care taker of the house to ask for assistance. The place were not yet known to all because during my stay here and I had a booked tour the van couldn't find the Casa, probably it has no visible sign that the driver or the guide could see. There's a sign outside the gate but it needed more visibility and a repaint so that everyone know what is this place and its location. The place cannot be seen in Google Maps since it was not yet updated to recent view so even if you virtually travel the streets, the area where this place is, is inaccessible on the map. So far a good place to stay in to relax after a long day of tour activities and probably one of the cheapest.

VVictoria&JessiMy overall experience is good! I'm the type of person who prefers active travelling, so the hotel is needed literally just for sleep, shower and storing stuff. My requirements for the hotel were good proximity to the city center and nice room with hot shower. Well, the location is truly good, it's a bit on the hill so to get to the city center you just need to come down. In the same building there is a great cafe DAYO who offer 10% discount per day for the Oceana Bay hotel's guests. During our trip to Philippines, Coron was the last destination and the 4th hotel we stayed at, and that was the only one with some room facilities issues. When we checked-in it turned out there is no water in the shower, the staff truly tried to be helpful, the receptionist girl offered us to stay in another upgraded room before the problem will be solved. The thing is when one day later we had to return to the room the problem with the water wasn't solved, we had to contact staff all the time which for sure was absolutely inconvenient, especially when water could be cut off during taking shower. At that point nobody cared already, there were no offers to change the room or to offer us a discount. The siphon from the sink was leaking, so every time you wash your hands, the bathroom floor is immediately in water. The AC is truly loud, but this is absolutely normal for Philippines, as well as the absence of hair dryer. Nice thing that the hotel unlimitedly provides drinking water in the hall. The hotel also offers tours, bike rent, transfer to the airport, but I'd suggest to check it out in the city first, we've found more convenient and better price offers there.

CCris R.I went on a 13-day trip around Palawan and Coron was my first stop from Cebu. In Coron, I stayed in Dayon Hostel. I was alone for the duration of my three-night stay in the six-bed female dorm. You can choose to lock the door at night for security. I made sure that I turned off the AC every time I went out. The restrooms are clean especially the toilets although the shower rooms need to be upgraded as some showerheads do not function that well. It will also be nice if they do a thorough cleaning of the shower rooms and the sinks as they looked dirty and unkempt. There is a restaurant on the rooftop but the options are limited. If you exit through the back, it leads you the main road where you will find a wonderful cafe that serves good sausage meals. There are also several local options available if you want affordable options. The price I paid was worth the quality of the stay. The hostel is known by tour operators and guides and so it was not a challenge when it was time for pick-up and drop off. I loved the staff especially when I had to leave early in the morning to head to the port for my trip to El Nido. They arranged my transportation and made sure that I left the hostel on time. Will I go back? Maybe not and it's not because I don't like it. It's just that I felt that my next stay should be in a private room for another worthwhile experience in Coron. But for those solo travelers on a budget, Dayon Hostel is your best bet in Coron in as far as affordable sleeping option is concerned.

GGuest UserSmall rooms, next to a party street. The size, service and even the location are not worth the money, to be honest. But at that moment there were no options, no choice. All the ports were closed, and the hotels were sold out and there was nowhere to go. We took it for one night.

YYizhuliangrenIt is close to the sea, and you can see the sea when you go out. The house is clean and hygienic, but there is no quilt. The shower water pressure is not great. Breakfast is provided. Traveling to other places, the front desk can call a car and book a boat ticket

GGuest UserReview for Ginto Residence in El Nido – 4/5 Stars Ginto Residence is a fantastic place to stay in El Nido if you’re looking for a central location. This small property with only four rooms feels more like an Airbnb than a traditional hotel, which adds to its charm. The staff are extremely friendly and polite, and communication is easy via WhatsApp. The amenities are thoughtful – free water, hot coffee, and tea are always available. The rooms are freshly renovated and very clean. The location is exceptional, right in the heart of Corong-Corong, with plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. If you’re in an upper-floor room, the balcony provides a great view of the street below – but keep in mind, you’ll also hear the street noise quite clearly. This makes it ideal for guests who want to be in the middle of the action, but perhaps not for those seeking peace and quiet. Breakfast is served in a local Filipino restaurant nearby and features delicious, authentic Filipino cuisine. The internet connection is excellent and very stable, which was a huge plus. One suggestion for improvement would be to add a refrigerator in the rooms, as this would be very convenient for guests. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again. It’s a great option for its location, friendly service, and modern amenities. Four stars!

OOlga ShegayWe were unlucky with the number, the windows went straight to the road, the traffic was almost unstop, it was very, very noisy and the strong smell of gasoline. With the closed windows, the cars and tricycles were still heard. Plus there was still a repair that was noisy from. At the end of the day, I didn't want to go back to the hotel. Breakfast was delicious, in the restaurant at the hotel, give a 25% discount, but only for breakfast. Before our arrival in the room sprayed some flavouring with a sharp smell, towels and bed linen were also with a sharp smell, which caused me an allergic reaction to the skin. The design of the hotel is interesting, from the common zones there is a view of the sea.

LLisaLPWe stayed for five nights, booking one double room and one family room. Both rooms were sufficiently furnished, and there were tables outside that we made good use of during the day. We were also offered the use of a fridge in the common area, which we really appreciated. From what I understand, only the family rooms come with water heating. The location is very good—tucked away in a safe, lively neighbourhood and within walking distance of both NCCC Mall and SM City Puerto Princesa Mall, where there are supermarkets and plenty of food options. We were also able to walk to several places of interest in the city, including the Boardwalk, Chinatown, the Heritage Centre, and the Immaculate Conception Cathedral. There’s a laundry just across the road that charges reasonable rates. The hosts were the best part of the stay. They were family-oriented, warm, hospitable, accommodating, and very communicative. They helped organise tours at prices better than those offered on online platforms. We had a whale of a time at Honda Bay and the Underground River—both are must-experience attractions when visiting Palawan. Highly recommended for travellers looking for a welcoming place, great hosts, and a convenient location.
