It was cleaner than I expected, the service was good and it was comfortable! Although the facilities are old, they were clean and housekeeping came every day.

There is a swimming pool, there is breakfast, the price is very high, the swimming pool is not big, but there is a slide, children are still good to play, parking has parking space, very convenient

Very nice hotel, clean, light and airy rooms and the beds were quite comfortable. the room I had all the usual comforts such as a microwave and a fridge. It also had a hot plate and utensils for cooking if required. It had an elevator for the tower and 2nd floor rooms on the eastern side. The hotel also had an indoor pool and spa. The staff were cheerful and helpful. If there is to be a fault it would be that the breakfast was very basic, to compensate there was a 24hr diner and an Irish bar 0.5kms away.

The hotel room IS a little dated, but our room was clean and comfortable. The AC system worked perfectly, the bed was a dream. On site covered parking was helpful. Cora's breakfast restaurant is attached to the hotel which is another winner for me. If you don't need fancy, this is the place to stay. Rob at the Front Desk was delightful - friendly, funny and helpful! I would book a stay here again

Having spent some 4 weeks touring through Alberta and the Rockies, and staying in many hotels and lodges, can now claim to have found a jewel in Lake Louise. Mountaineer Lodge is ideally located for hiking to the louise lake, just off the highway and next to a very convenient mall. Parking is free. Reception was first class, friendly and helpful. Had a first floor apartment (2 large double beds) The apartment decor is first class, looks newly decorated, well lit and large. Everything needed is available, and the breakfast is included in the price. Cost of the apartment was 1/3 of Banff prices, quality first class and could not find any faults with our entire stay. Only wish that we could stay longer, but will most certainly be staying again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Absolutely the best place to stay in the city with extremely friendly staff, cleanest and everything is brand new and smells wonderful.

I actually enjoyed my stay at this hostel. The staff are very accommodating and welcoming. I stayed in a room with mix men and women. I was surprised at first if I am in the wrong room because when I went in the room there were women. I just confirmed that it was the right room when I saw another male. So, 2 males 4 females. They were actually very kind and they respect each other for example they do not disturb another person because he/she might be resting. It is also good to meet other people of different nationalities. They have a kitchen that we can use. I had 2 breakfasts and it was pretty much a bonus for me. Breakfast was good. They also have their own bar where you cane eat and drink. Overall, amazing!

This was one of the most awkward hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in; it was horribly designed. We booked a room with one queen bed, which was definitely not a queen. It was a double at best (regardless of what the front desk says). My husband is a larger man, so it made for a tight squeeze. There clearly used to be two “queen” beds in the room, as the second headboard was still bolted to the wall, but with a table in front of it. There’s a “desk” crammed into the far corner that is a piece of glass on top of two small filing cabinets, which is, and I kid you not, propped up by hockey pucks (photos attached!). The tv is practically attached to the ceiling and we couldn’t figure out how to work the fireplace. The sheets had minor stains, but the towels were GROSS. They were so stained they should’ve been thrown out. Even though the bed was small, the mattress was comfy for one of us, but not the other. We had originally booked two nights, but we opted to go across the street to the Stars Inn after our first night. The staff were MUCH friendlier, the place was WAY cleaner, and the rooms were much more comfortable. Unless you’re only staying for a few hours and then heading to the airport, I would suggest spending the extra few bucks and book across the road. This is definitely a long-stay rigger motel.

I really like this hotel, I have my own free parking lot, the location is very good, and it is very close to banff. The first floor lobby has free coffee hot water and fruit. Sitting on the sofa and watching the scenery is so cool. The room has a small balcony that is perfect for watching the scenery. The room is very clean, very recommended

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in October 2022. We found the front office staff very friendly and able to answer all our questions. It was nice having coffee, tea, and infused water available in the front lobby at all times. The rooms were well decorated and clean. Our room had a microwave, mini fridge and a Keurig with pods and cups. Very convenient. We also had a great view of the mountains from our room on the third floor...with a balcony, two seats and a table that we used often. The odd number rooms are located in the front of the hotel with a view of the mountains. Rooms with even numbers are in the back and overlook a courtyard and other buildings. Parking was convenient and easy to access. The only drawback was the breakfast included with our stay. We ate in the breakfast area 5 times and every time we ate we ended up with syrup on our arms or clothes from the previous diner. We never saw the tables being wiped down at all. The food was okay. Basically the same thing every day. This hotel is within walking distance of a grocery store and all the shops and restaurants down the main street (Banff Avenue) and the side streets I would have rated this a hotel 4.5 if I had the option. I would stay there again and would definitely recommend it.

Stayed here for business - great location to the airport and only a 20 minute UBER ride to downtown. The Hotel pays for your taxi to/from the airport. Really nice suite, would be good for a party of 3 or 4 even. Complimentary Continental breakfast included - not spectacular but good enough to fill the gap. Restaurant in neighbouring hotel opens at 4pm, so no place to eat close by until then. I'll stay here again for sure.

A really unwelcoming receptionist was on duty when I checked in. Grumpy and used unfriendly tone when we discussed. The room was quite big, but what an awful filthy floor! The carpet on the floor was full of dog hair and generally smelly. The bed was ok, but it was not evenly leveled between left and right side. I almost fell of the bed on one side. The bathroom was ok with hot water. The wifi was strong. The breakfast was just a sandwich, a donut and a juice. That's all. Cheap stay for a hotel, but not for a demanding guest.

The room and hallways were outdated and retro but still clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. We had a bizarre issue with the check-in where the front desk tried to tell us our reservation had been cancelled months prior, which was not true. We didn't cancel our reservation, and if they did on their end they never notified us of it. In fact, I was still receiving emails about checking in for my reservation the day before we arrived, so it was very stressful and confusing to get there and be told our reservation was cancelled months ago. Luckily they still had rooms for us, but still. Get your reservation and notification system sorted out.

Overall not bad, but the breakfast is not that good, they don’t have any meat, neither eggs ….

The hotel has two floors, the superior rooms are on the second floor, there is a free pool gym, free breakfast, excellent service, a gas station in front of the hotel, Korean food across the road, not far from Snooker Shopping Center. Convenient.

The location of the hotel is really convenient (I decided to choose after watching the comments of the netizens in front of me), the facilities are simple but there is still some. The breakfast supply is a bit ”simple”, plus the ”simple” reception at check-in, is the deficiency (a blemish!)

Hotel is old and needs an upgrade! The room felt so cramped and the beds were creaky. We had stains on the carpet in our room. The desk chairs in our room were rock hard and uncomfortable. Hotel also charges a fee for having a safe in the room which is silly since most, if not all, hotels have that. The shower also has barely any pressure.

The hotel is located near the airport, not far from Downtown. There are restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The hotel belongs to the Wyndham chain. The room is clean and tidy. The breakfast is not bad. The front desk staff is warm and there is a pick-up service. Especially the driver who drops off is very enthusiastic and patient. Worth continuing to stay

There are many shopping malls nearby, so it is convenient. Generally speaking, the staff are friendly, but one female staff member was scared to ask. I was satisfied with the cleanliness, but I was sorry that the table was a little lacking at breakfast time. But overall it was good for the price

The location of the hotel is very convenient, there is a big supermarket superstore, McDonald's with a playground next to it, Chongqing hot pot in two or three minutes' drive, and Prince Edward Cantonese restaurant on the other side of the road. Drive to the south park center for shopping, Tatung Wah is there, as well as Cantonese flavor, 825 Hong Kong tea restaurant and so on. Easy parking, breakfast, swimming pool. However, the hotel facilities are relatively old, the front desk is relatively simple, and the quality of breakfast is average: oatmeal, waffles, scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausages, bread, cakes, yogurt, circles, hot drinks, juice But at the end, there was not even hot water. There is no thermos in the room and the restaurant does not provide 24-hour hot drinks. Since you are carrying a child and need hot water, you can only use a coffee machine to boil hot water, or use a microwave to heat the water. No coin laundry. The swimming pool is small. There was a strange noise in the elevator, which vibrated several times each time. There is a car market nearby, and infrastructure is still under construction, but no noise is heard. Affordable but not very comfortable.

The location of the hotel is very good. It is next to the city center. You can walk to the city center for more than ten minutes. You can walk to the provincial parliament building and the river for more than ten minutes by walking in the opposite direction.

When we checked in we wanted some hot water to make a cup of tea. None in the rooms which was ok but when we went down to the lobby to ask they told my wife to walk down to the convenience store down the road and ask for some. This despite having the facilities in the breakfast room next to reception, they just couldn’t be bothered opening the door. Also rooms were dusty and old, and in need of significant repairs. For what they charge you would definitely expect better. Internet is portioned out by the day and throttled which I have never experienced before. Overall it is of the quality of a rent by the hour / 50 dollar a night motel trying to call itself a hotel. Technically they refer to themselves as a “truck stop” which is pretty much our experience. Much better value from any other hotel in the area at his price point. Highly unreccomended

Definitely will stay again if I'm ever back in edmonton. Located near the mall and lots of food locations. Lots of parking. Very quiet, clean & comfortable. Staff was very friendly and accommodating to our extended stay, especially Arva at the front desk.

Stayed here due to an unexpected family emergency during the COVID pandemic. We choose this particular location as it was near our destination. We had a comfortable stay, for a very reasonable price, in a trying time. Rooms were modern with mini fridge and microwave (always appreciated) and flat screen T.V. (although a smaller one). I found the beds comfortable, my husband did not. The staff did as well as possible with the COVID restrictions. A free breakfast is provided. The breakfast room was not open, however, when you checked in they took your order for breakfast and then you picked up your bag in the morning. I thought it was nice that they went to the trouble of providing anything, when they could have instead used COVID as an excuse to cancel breakfast all together. Unfortunately the pool was closed (as required by current COVID restrictions), so we did not get to try it. In regards to the location - this is not a tourist location. It is more a location you would stay if you had a particular reason to (e.g. family or business in the area). That being said, it is a fairly convenient spot. There are lots of restaurants nearby (a couple sharing the same parking lot) and you are right next to the LRT that goes downtown. (In fact there were two train tracks right outside our room, but I did not find this bothersome or particularly noisy.) It's unlikely that we will have reason to spend the night in this area of Edmonton again, however, if we did I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel.

This hotel is beautiful inside and outside and located in a fantastic spot. Not far from a lot of things to do in St. Albert. and Edmonton ( when they all reopen. My husband and I had a wonderful stay and was greeted by Andrea and her trainee at the front desk. So friendly and inviting, was very knowledgeable of the area and explained all hotel amenities available to us during our stay. Room was clean and I noticed that the towels were sanitized and hand sanitizer was available throughout the hotel. Thank you so much for all you are doing to keep everyone safe! We will be back when the ******s are open again and we have our next date night!

Best hotel experience I ever had. This hotel has well-maintained rooms and facilities. You know that when something smells clean, it is really clean. This is that hotel! Warm breakfast is great with lots of choices. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Kudos to the management and staff!

Hotel staffs are accommodating, helpful and polite. We payed for an extra roll bed, since it was cleaned well, we were given an extra room free of charge which is very nice of the front desk staff. Food served were good, the staffs are very polite and the dining area is clean and spacious.

The room was very clean. Inn is in close proximity to everything. But the mattresses are very old and uncomfortable. I read comments about the beds but thought how bad could it be? It was bad. My mattress was extremely uneven. There was a large dip on one half and you could see it when just looking at the bed. You can feel the springs through the mattress too. The bathroom is tiny, and when we got back to our room around 1am there was no hot water only warm. If they would just update the mattresses this would be a lovely place to stay. There is limited onsite parking and only 5 or so parking spaces on the street if you can’t park in the lot. Very friendly, welcoming staff at check in. Room key is a house key, don’t lose it, $100 charge if you do.

The hotel was Convenient, the room Comfy and Clean, so a big 3-C's rating. The hot tub in this facility is large and two of us had it all to ourselves, a great treat after hiking about various pathways and trails. Service at the front desk was smooth efficient and friendly. The small breakfast buffet was adequate to get us back on the road.

Amazing! Perfect location and amazing staff. Will absolutely be my go to for the next stay. Rooms were clean, the balcony view was also great. Pub on site with live music. Housekeeping were also lovely. I couldn’t think of a fault for the price. Thank you.

There is a parking lot, with children, there is no child entertainment facilities, no need for an extra bed with a sofa, two bedrooms, enough! Did not set the breakfast, I feel that I have cooked the kitchen and I have not seen the restaurant!
