You can get free park admission and parking by registering your license plate in advance, and the system recognizes your car automatically upon entry, which is super convenient for families traveling by car. Rooms are meticulously cleaned daily, and the mini-bar snacks and drinks are replenished every day, ensuring a consistent and pleasant stay. "Stayed here on the second day of my competition. Overall, the facilities were quite good. It has a bamboo-themed decor. I booked a mountain view room with a balcony. Some rooms have them, some don't, and I later switched to one with a balcony. My online booking was 20 yuan more expensive than the walk-in rate, so if you're not in a hurry, it's worth checking the on-site prices before booking to compare. The room had two bathrooms. The toilet and shower were separate, and there was plenty of space. The room itself was also very large and even had a sofa. The air was incredibly fresh, and the views were stunning. It was also super convenient to get to Genting Theme Park. The air conditioning worked great. The only minor issue was that the bed creaked every time I turned over. Breakfast was excellent too, with a wide variety of options. I get the feeling this place would be incredibly convenient for skiing, as the slopes lead right to the hotel. I'd definitely come back in winter if I get the chance."

"Overall, it met my expectations. Tangshan is a city I really like, and the service here was quite good. The only thing is the price was a bit high, probably because of the May Day holiday. I'd recommend staying here when it's not a busy period. The hotel's swimming pool was bathed in sunlight, and the small hot spring pools were at a perfect temperature. The trees in the hotel park have also grown quite a bit, so the overall environment is lovely. I'd suggest staying here if the price is right."

We booked a sea-view room, and opening the window revealed a vast expanse of sea. The room was spacious, clean, and the facilities were very new. The room size was larger than expected, with a modern minimalist decor. The bathroom featured a wet/dry separation, with both a bathtub and a shower, which was very convenient when staying with children. The balcony was large, and it was lovely to just sit there, gaze at the sea, and relax. Service was warm and attentive. From check-in at the front desk to room service, the staff were all friendly and proactive. When we checked in, seeing that we had children with us, they actively helped arrange a higher floor, offered a late check-out, and even provided toiletries and a small gift for the kids – these thoughtful details were very heartwarming. During breakfast, the servers cleared tables promptly and proactively asked if we needed anything. Dining options were abundant, and the quality was excellent. The breakfast selection was very comprehensive, offering both Chinese and Western dishes. We enjoyed seafood congee, an omelet station, and local specialties. The seafood at the dinner buffet was very fresh, and the desserts were also well-made. The beachfront restaurant had a great ambiance, perfect for dining while enjoying the sea views in the evening. Family-friendly facilities were excellent. There were indoor and outdoor children's play areas and a heated swimming pool, which the kids thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel also arranged family activities, so we could have a full day of fun without even leaving the hotel."

"When I was planning my trip to Qinhuangdao, I looked at a lot of hotels and finally decided on the Shangri-La because of its prime location in the city, making it convenient to get around. The most crucial factor was its balcony sea view rooms, which offer an expansive view of the entire ocean – unlike many other hotels where you can only glimpse the sea from afar. Many people had given it lower ratings, so I was prepared for that before checking in. However, since I prioritize sea views over hardware, my actual stay exceeded expectations. Communication with the front desk was smooth, and they were able to accommodate most of my requests. Of course, the facilities are indeed quite old; the toilet isn't smart, and the curtains don't have automatic switches, making them a bit stiff to open. But these minor flaws don't overshadow the positives. During the peak travel season of July and August, the package deal on Ctrip was still very cost-effective. Overall, I'm quite satisfied."
