"Staying here truly healed me both physically and mentally, making it the best trip ever! [Transportation] We were picked up in Ulaanbaatar ($50) and dropped off at the airport at 5 AM ($55) upon arrival. The arrangements were made via WhatsApp one day in advance! We accidentally requested a city pickup on the day itself, which caused some inconvenience (though they were happy to accommodate). It's important to be careful. The roads were unpaved, so we drove through livestock for about two hours, experiencing some of the most turbulent swaying we'd ever experienced (though it's a fond memory, too). 🏞️ [Guide Alan] Alan, a kind and caring man, was kind enough to talk to us when he picked us up in Ulaanbaatar. He felt bad that we hadn't had a chance to see much of the city, so he delayed our departure and took us to an observation deck with a panoramic view. He shared little tidbits of information about the city along the way, which really helped me understand Ulaanbaatar better. Alan also arranged everything, including horseback riding and a full-day tour (which he was in charge of)! (I booked via WhatsApp.) [Meals] Breakfast began at 10am in the main lobby (dining room). Lunch and dinner were ordered from the same restaurant and paid for together at checkout. Enjoying a meal overlooking the vast plains was exceptional, and I'd definitely return, even if just for the food! [Accommodation] The accommodations are divided into gers and lodges, with showers and toilets shared by guests in the gers. I initially planned to stay in a ger, but they upgraded me because it was cold, and the lodge I stayed in had a shower and toilet, which was very comfortable! [Horseback Riding Experience] Riding sessions usually lasted one hour, and each additional hour required paying for the guide and our horses. Local 11- and 12-year-old children brought the horses over the mountains, and it was a wonderful time galloping around the plains under their guidance! Beginners will hold the reins, but if you ask, you can hold the reins yourself. We took a two-hour tour down to the river! [Tour] We met up with Alan in the morning, and he took us to Terelj National Park, Turtle Rock, Ali Abal Monastery, the Genghis Khan statue, and a visit to a nomadic yurt. The journey was steep, but the views were unforgettable. He taught us the history of each place, and we learned a lot. [Language] English was the basic language spoken in this environment. While we couldn't communicate with the children while horseback riding, our savior, Saihna, acted as interpreter. An anime fan and fluent in Japanese, she was always cheerful and helpful, guiding us and talking to us in Japanese, making this trip even more colorful! Thank you!"
