This hotel is perfect for a weekend getaway if you're planning to stay within the scenic area. You can spend the second day exploring the sights and enjoying the morning views.
We arrived at the scenic area's guesthouse center after lunch and dropped off our luggage to start exploring. We were told check-in was at 5 PM, but it actually depends on room availability and cleaning. I was able to check in before 3 PM. Each room comes with a dedicated butler. The bathroom drain was clogged, but it was fixed very quickly. They were also accommodating when I requested a late check-out. They even send helpful tips for exploring the scenic area, which was a nice touch.
The room has a large bed downstairs, and the loft has a 1.5m bed, accessible by a ladder. The room was reasonably clean, though some of the loft walls showed a bit of wear.
Getting from the room to the attractions involved quite a bit of stair climbing up and down, which was a bit tiring for the legs.

The hotel's location is excellent, offering unobstructed views of the Gan River from the higher floors, including the Bayi Bridge, and some rooms even have a view of Tengwang Pavilion. The service was exceptional; some staff members would proactively greet us as they passed by. The front desk and concierge staff were outstanding, eager to open car doors and help with luggage, showing great enthusiasm and attentiveness. The front desk staff were friendly, answered all our questions, and were very accommodating. I'd say the front desk service here is the best I've experienced among many 5-star hotels.

This 12-day Chinese New Year family trip, Shangri-La Nanchang was by far the most comfortable hotel we stayed in. The location is superb, with convenient transportation. The tram downstairs goes directly to all the major popular attractions.
What truly impressed me was the service; they genuinely made us feel at home. Check-in was very thoughtful. They proactively arranged our two rooms together and patiently explained why there was a connecting room in between (due to the king-size bed layout). They also meticulously inquired about all our needs. On the day we left, our child wasn't feeling well and fell asleep, and the hotel was incredibly accommodating, allowing us to extend our check-out until 2 PM without any rush or催促, which was particularly heartwarming.
The room view was unbeatable, directly facing Tengwang Pavilion from the window. We could even watch the fireworks display from our room, and the staff even proactively reminded us to tune the TV to the music channel to accompany the viewing. Additionally, the robot delivery for takeout was very prompt, and the buffet dinner was affordable, delicious, and offered a wide variety of dishes. The overall experience was impeccable, highly recommended!

This is a proper five-star hotel that truly delivers. The staff were incredibly attentive and considerate throughout our stay. A special shout-out to Ms. Yashi for her wonderfully warm welcome; she even reached out to me the day before to assist with any queries and patiently answered all my questions. Upon entering the hotel, we were greeted by a live band performance. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the complimentary small gifts added a lovely, welcoming touch. The breakfast selection was diverse and plentiful. Overall, it offers fantastic value for money and is definitely worth booking. Highly recommended!

Our New Year's Eve stay was absolutely perfect! The hotel's ambiance is elegant and comfortable, with thoughtful touches everywhere. From the moment we walked in, the staff's attentive guidance to every detail throughout check-in and dining made us feel incredibly welcome. The New Year's Eve dinner arrangements were convenient and hassle-free, taking care of all our holiday dining needs – ideal for families. The hotel breakfast offered a rich variety of delicious and high-quality options. Right outside the hotel entrance is the ancient town, which wasn't crowded, making for a peaceful and pleasant stroll. The overall service was attentive and warm, combining quality with genuine hospitality. Staying here for the New Year was truly reassuring and wonderful.

Disappointing! I was given a room in the most remote part, with a mediocre view. Downstairs is a popular spot for tourists to 'dry their autumn harvest,' so it was noisy from morning till night! The room design was in really bad taste... The only upside was the long balcony, which had some character. Breakfast was a total mess; I can't understand why a 2000+ yuan per night stay would include such a breakfast. I won't be returning to Huangling in the future. It's exactly the same as it was three years ago, just too commercialized and ruined.
Looking to escape the crowds during Chinese New Year, I spontaneously booked a stay here with my parents and children. It turned out to be an excellent choice for a restful night. The hotel also offered many craft activities, which kept the kids entertained. When the staff learned we had missed the Ciba-making activity, they specially asked the kitchen to steam a new batch and arranged an extra session for us. The only slight disappointment was that the sky lanterns at night didn't have enough air and couldn't fly, which saddened the children a bit. Upon checkout, staff member Chen Yongman drove us in the shuttle to the lobby entrance for a photo, and then directly to the parking lot to help us with our luggage. We really appreciate his help.

Traveling to Nanchang with my family for Chinese New Year, choosing the Sheraton Nanchang Hotel was definitely a wise decision. First off, the location is superb; the subway station is just a left turn outside the hotel, making it easy to reach all the main attractions. We even took the subway to and from the airport, which was incredibly convenient. Secondly, the hotel staff provided exceptional service. The front desk lady, knowing we had a late flight on our departure day, proactively arranged a late check-out for us during check-in, which really solved a problem for us. When we checked out, she even gave us some small Nanchang souvenirs, which made both the adults and children very happy. Lastly, let's talk about the hotel's facilities. The room was spacious, the bedding was comfortable, and the view was fantastic. We even watched Nanchang's New Year's Day fireworks display from our room, which was spectacular. The swimming pool was open from noon until night; my child went twice, and the water was clean, the temperature was just right, and it wasn't crowded. All in all, our stay was a wonderful experience, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Nanchang.
I went to Fuzhou on a business trip some time ago and chose to stay at Hilton Fuzhou Poly Huazhang. The overall experience was very good and I must share it.
• Convenient transportation: The hotel is located in the High-tech Zone of Fuzhou City, in the commercial center, and is only a 6-minute drive from the railway station. It is very convenient for people like me who travel frequently.
• Pleasant environment: As soon as I entered the hotel, I was attracted by the 80,000 square meters of outdoor artificial garden landscape. The traditional Chinese architectural design style makes the whole hotel full of elegant charm. Walking in it is comfortable and relaxing.
• Intimate service: From the check-in at the front desk, the staff is enthusiastic and professional, quickly handles the formalities, and also introduces the hotel facilities intimately. During the stay, any needs can be responded to in time, which is really worry-free.
• Rich dining: The ”Moonlight” buffet restaurant provides a lot of food, high-quality seafood, fresh and delicious, on-site cooking is full of fireworks, and there are various international and local cuisines to meet different tastes. The Cantonese and Gan cuisines in the ”Yugongguan” Chinese restaurant are also quite authentic, and every bite is intoxicating. It is very pleasant to order a cup of coffee in the ”Liuguang” lobby bar and enjoy the outdoor scenery.
• Complete facilities: The hotel has a large conference and banquet venue of 4,300 square meters, including conference rooms, banquet halls, boardrooms, and outdoor sunny lawns, which are suitable for both business meetings and social gatherings. In addition, the gym is fully equipped and the swimming pool is clear. It is so comfortable to swim a few laps. Living here, you can work and relax at the same time.
This time I stayed at the Fuzhou Poly Huazhang Hilton Hotel, which was impeccable in all aspects. Next time I come to Fuzhou, I will definitely choose this place!

My stay in Jingdezhen was a delightful surprise, especially at the Chuan Shang Hang Hotel, which offered a serene and artistic ambiance.
The hotel's architecture blended seamlessly with the natural landscape. Wooden corridors wound around preserved camphor trees, creating a tranquil 'coexistence with nature' feel through the interplay of light and shadow.
The guest rooms were simply designed yet cozy. Large floor-to-ceiling windows brought the lush greenery and distant mountain views indoors, and the lounge chair on the balcony was perfect for an afternoon nap. The room's furnishings were also meticulously chosen; from the tea sets to the fruit platters, every detail showcased thoughtfulness.
Furthermore, the hotel thoughtfully provided a personal photo shoot service, allowing guests to capture exclusive memories while enjoying the aesthetic design – a truly special touch.

GGuest UserStepping out of the elevator, you're immediately greeted by a luxurious atmosphere. This place offers incredible value for money. The front desk proactively upgraded our room and even provided complimentary breakfast – huge kudos to them! Although the service staff couldn't remember where the umbrellas were during the rain, their warm eagerness to help was truly charming. Honestly, this is the first time I've ever given a business such a high rating. It's excellent, and I'll definitely be staying here again when I return in a couple of days.

GGuest UserI opted for one of their newly opened rooms for this stay. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, ensuring I slept soundly right until dawn. What I particularly loved was the Huipai architectural style, with its classic white walls, dark tiled roofs, and charmingly arranged courtyards. The subtle aroma of tea permeated the air, instantly putting me at ease.

AAaniFacilities: The room was quite spacious, and the TV was projected onto a large screen. There was a huge balcony with a view of lush greenery. There was a swimming pool and hot spring. When we went, it was already quite warm, so we swam but didn't try the hot spring.
Environment: The hotel is located halfway up a mountain, suitable for those driving, but it's centrally located in Wuyuan, so driving is quite convenient. The only problem was that there were no streetlights in the mountains, so we arrived at the hotel in the dark at night. 😂 Considering the hotel's facilities and room size, it's extremely cost-effective. Experiencing the hot spring in winter would be quite nice.
XXiang_khushExceeded our expectations. Beautifully designed, exceptional concierge service, excellent amenities and areas to truly enjoy a staycation. Conveniently located in the bustling Sanbao street, eleme deliveries are also available and come right up to the room, the hot tub came with bath salts, mood lighting and really was worth every penny.
Standout features:
- Luxurious design
- Exceptional bed and pillows, best sleep in months
- Amazing hot tub
- Good quality bath products and toiletries
- Very cozy robes
- Spacious room
Few suggestions that could elevate this experience further:
- The tv does not have GiTV it has CRTV so English entertainment is unavailable on the projector unless you mirror your device and use a Chinese streaming app. International apps are not compatible.
- Room temp at night is quite warm since air conditioning is switched off during the winters, fans would be a relief
- Would’ve loved some chocolate placed on pillows for a honey suite
- The service is only in Chinese and restaurant closes at 4:30 pm unless you book a meal in advance
- There is no dairy creamer with the coffee only milk available in the restaurant on 1F
- Would’ve loved the projector in the hot tub area
- Xiao Du only understands Chinese and most room commands need her assistance, inconvenient if someone doesn’t speak the language
- Hard to find Didi Cabs to go anywhere but relatively easy to find cabs 2km away. (Very scenic walk or e-scooter)

Good
GGuest UserThe 85-square-meter family double-bedroom room has a bug. There is only one bathroom, and the bathroom is in another room. It is inconvenient for our family to live. After consulting the front desk, we were upgraded to a 100-square-meter double-bedroom family room for free. This is very good. The family stayed for two consecutive nights and lived very comfortably. Thumbs up to the front desk lady!
It’s nice to take the baby out and have a bird park!
There is also a water park in summer. I will come again next time!
GGuest UserEven on non-holiday weekdays, there were so many tourists that the shuttle buses were packed to the brim. We were lugging our luggage, and with only two or three seats available next to the aisle, we had to hold onto our bags, which was quite a hassle. They really should arrange a separate shuttle for hotel guests.
The air conditioning in the bedroom smelled sour, so we had to rely on the living room's AC at night. We were on the second floor, and it had been raining for days, causing moss to grow on the wooden stairs. My family member took a nasty fall going downstairs... My backside still hurts from it, and I'm plastering myself with pain relief patches every day.
Good marks for cleanliness; the artwork created from the toiletries box showed they genuinely tried to add a nice touch. The hotel staff (excluding the front desk) were very friendly. The front desk for check-in seemed to handle multiple properties, and they were clearly overworked and impatient when asked questions.
The food at the Shanli Ren restaurant across the street was absolutely terrible. We couldn't even eat breakfast. Both of us were vomiting, had diarrhea, and fevers for two whole days. It completely ruined our vacation, and our complaints went nowhere. The scenic spot itself genuinely tries to do a good job, but one bad apple spoils the whole bunch. I guess Ge Xian Cun and I just aren't a good match; I won't be coming back.
GGuest UserA mature and well-managed business hotel. My entire experience was delightful and brought me joy during my trip, even offering some pleasant surprises. The room was comfortable, the bedding was cozy, and the bathroom and amenities were excellent. Both breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were satisfying, and it offered good value for money. The hotel's proactive service, like the pre-arrival greetings, was particularly thoughtful, making me feel right at home.
