Our room on the fifth floor faced Jungfrau, offering a beautiful view. The outdoor scenery from the ground floor lobby was also breathtaking. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options. We had a small hiccup during our stay: on the first night, the hot water in our room stopped working, so we couldn't shower. We contacted the front desk, and they said there were no maintenance workers available at night. There was no follow-up after that. We contacted them again, and the front desk staff, speaking in broken English, gave us two options: switch rooms or wait until the next morning for repairs. We chose to switch rooms, and the front desk gave us two 'sorry' cards for free drinks at the bar. The new room was on the second floor, facing Mönch. This hotel seems to have a lot of Asian tour groups.

There is nothing to say about the location. The main thing to go to this place is to take the cable car. I didn’t remind you when I made the reservation. Fortunately, we arrived not very late. I drove up the mountain directly, but it turned out that the car couldn’t go up, so I went down obediently and took the cable car up. , After a few hours of tossing around, I didn't check in until 11 o'clock. 😅

Is pleasure of staying at a wonderful hotel that left a lasting impression. From its impeccable design to the delectable breakfast, my experience was delightful overall. Although the weather didn't quite cooperate during my stay, the hotel's fantastic service more than made up for it.

A magnificent hotel at the foot of the Swiss Alps in Grindelwald. A magnificent stay, located 100m from the train stop, the bus station and with bus stops nearby. Pleasant hotel, with magnificent views of the Eiger, spa with warm water pool, jacuzzi and a magnificent small outdoor pool. The staff was very attentive and professional, even speaking Spanish, so you feel at home. The rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, with a terrace with wonderful views, and a large, warm bathroom. The breakfast was fair but good. We would definitely stay at the Belvedere again.

A good hotel local to the city and accessible by tram, in a quiet location. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable with a view of the city. The room contains a fridge stocked with refreshments that you have to pay for with tea and coffee provided. The bathroom contained little touches with sealed packets of ear buds, nail file and tooth picks which is nice touch. Buffet breakfast was good with a nice variety of food catering for all tastes however the plates are quite small so be prepared for a few trips back and forth to the buffet. The pool was good but cold when first entering so be prepared ro swim a few laps ro warm up.

Had a short stopover in Bern. Hotel room is clean. The amenities in the room provided were sufficient.
Just a couple minutes walk away from old town while enjoying the view crossing the bridge. Or you can take a tram which is just a stop away.

Pretty good. The room was a good size, and the location was excellent – super close to the train station and very easy to find. The front desk staff were very friendly. Breakfast was a bit basic, but I'm not really a big breakfast eater anyway, so it wasn't an issue for me, haha. Overall, I was quite satisfied.

2nd time to come here. First time with family and although we had to stay in 2 rooms, it was fun to compare each others rooms and layout.
Breakfast is expansive (eggs looked a little old), but great selection of breads, deli items and so many jams to choose from. Cold dishes had a much higher quality than warm dishes. As it’s buffet style, it can be difficult to keep a sense of cleanliness, but they try hard.
Dream hotel at night as you can see great views.
Front desk staff is super helpful and remember me from my first stay.
I would like to return again in the future.

AAnonymous UserThe room is well equipped with basic amenities and quality of products used in the room for guests are good. Hotel breakfasts are delicious. Overall the hotel experience at Royal at Georges is memorable and we are satisfied with the hotel stay there. The location is around ten minutes away from interlaken ost station. However there is clock tower nearby which chimes a lot during the night.

As it was raining on that day, we decided to have dinner at Terrace restaurant (located in the hotel). Staff was super friendly. Cheese fondue was great, my daughter loves it so much. I will visit this place again!

WWanderfieVery nice design hotel, new and spacious, but what it’s lacking is the warmness of the staff. Only the new girl working there is pretty nice, the rest of the staff has lukewarm attitude. The first room I got was nice, they gave me a double bed instead of a single bed that I booked but upon enter, there was a pair of socks hanging on the toilet door. Called the housekeeping and they removed it but also realised the room is very hot, but AC is not adjustable as it is centralised. So they gave me a fan instead. Later at night I also realised it was pretty noisy as the alfresco of the restaurant is right beneath my room. And then the toilet shower is broken. I tried calling the reception and housekeeping at 9-10pm but nobody pick up which I assumed it’s probably not 24hrs service. I bear with the broken shower. Next day morning I asked to change the room to quieter one but I need to get all my stuff out by 11am which I did. I went to the reception and told them about the broken shower, with no apologies, the guy just say ya ya, that’s an easy fix. I’m still glad they changed the room for me. But like I say still hope for a better service with the money I paid. Also not enough hanging area in the bathroom, especially when the first room I got… no hanging area at all, so can’t hang towel or clothes.

You can drive into the hotel. The road is relatively narrow. There is an access control card on the last section of the road. Finally, I contacted the hotel in advance to ask for the password. Will take the initiative to tell you these precautions. Regarding the up and down of the cable car, sit for a while, hotel guests are free, you need to show your room card, remember to watch the timetable, don't miss the last bus. The view of the restaurant is very good and the service is attentive, but the food is as bad as ever, oh, I am not saying that this hotel is bad, I mean that all restaurants in Switzerland are bad (this breakfast is very good, you can go early, choose Facing the location of the waterfall, but the dinner is really hard to describe), unpalatable is one thing, full of ritual, each dish is served slowly, come up to explain to you what raw materials are used in this dish, how to make it, and if you actually taste it All restaurants in Switzerland, including but not limited to this one, are lacking in color and fragrance. My wife waited for the desserts to be served and hurriedly retreated. She panicked and forgot to take the bag. There is one thing to say, the service is still very good, the waiter put the bag at the front desk. Rory talked about it in a long way, hoping to be useful to the tourists behind.

MM587560****Waking up to the river view right outside our window was beautiful and had a lovely vintage feel. The hotel is super convenient, just a 3-minute walk from the train station. Plus, the breakfast spread was amazing and you could see the snow-capped mountains!

I would definitely recommend, it’s 10 mins walk away from the Interlaken OST, coop supermarket, 10 minutes walk from Interlaken central cut across to eatery places (like Chinese, Indian, western cuisine, and even macdonalds ) !

NNichola AnnFrom arrival it felt I was judged as I just came for hike and now in my going out clothes.
3am footsteps above ere so pound kept me awake, moving at that time caused me anxiety so I tried putting my headphones in. 7am it started again.
I came to check out and mentioned it and basically was told off my the male reception most for not coming to them and then asked for city tax. Customer care was zero! I was tired and upset and all I got was rudeness. At 3am I don’t want to be moving room. I hasn’t asked for a refund. Maybe a coffee or a wave of the city tax would have been nice rather that this lack of regard.
Never ever will I stay here again and I would highly appreciate a chat with the manager as I am not happy about this treatment.
