"Our stay was absolutely delightful. The hotel's overall service was meticulous and thoughtful, and the staff were warm and friendly. The airport shuttle bus was spacious and comfortable, and the welcome fruit platter, late-night snacks, breakfast, and small farewell gift upon check-out all demonstrated the hotel's genuine care for its guests. The two alpacas and little squirrels in the courtyard added a wonderful touch of warmth and fun to our trip. I'd particularly like to thank one of the hotel staff members. Yesterday, Beijing experienced a heavy downpour, and the ride-sharing car my family and I were in got a flat tire due to flooded roads, leaving us stranded in the middle of the street and unable to return to the hotel. It just so happened that her family was picking her up from work, and after learning about our situation, she proactively helped coordinate and drove us all back to the hotel entrance, politely refusing any compensation. For us, who were in such a difficult predicament at the time, her help was incredibly valuable and left us feeling incredibly touched. This small incident truly made me appreciate the staff's sense of responsibility and kindness, and it left me with an excellent impression of the hotel's service philosophy and management. To be able to cultivate such sincere, professional, and helpful employees, I believe this hotel is truly worthy of guests' trust. If I ever return to Beijing in the future, I will definitely choose to stay here again. I wish the hotel all the best and continued success to every staff member."

"Apart from the renovation which we were told beforehand, the room we had was dark (probably because it was a windowless room), humid, aircon wasn’t strong but they provided a fan. Could smell urine even with the toilet seat covered, toilet door was closed, to a point that i was awaken by the foul smell. Had to spray perfume to have it barely covered. Ventilation was super bad. Cons aside, service was good, fridge in room had free drinks. Would recommend to book a window room if you had to even though friend that stayed in the window room said it was bad too. There’s a mall few minutes walk away which was a plus. Good view on the reception floor too."

"Everything was great from the first second! The staff is polite and friendly: we had a lot of questions and they helped us all the time, what is really good for foreigners. The room was not so big, but it's nice: clean bright, comfortable and really calm. So, if you have some problems with sleeping, don't worry: you will sleep like a baby. By the way: the hotel has a good location, which is important if you don't have enough time (one day or some hours). So, if you are looking a good place to stay, you have found it. I think we'll come back here next time"

"I stayed at a Siheyuan (courtyard house) near Qianmen with my child and father, and it truly felt like quintessential Beijing! First off, the location is incredibly convenient. It's nestled in a hutong on Qianmen East Street, offering a quiet escape amidst the bustling city. A short walk around the corner takes you to Qianmen Pedestrian Street, and Dashilar is easily reachable on foot. Taking a taxi to Tiananmen or the Forbidden City costs just the minimum fare, which is a huge relief when traveling with elderly parents and children – no hassle at all. Secondly, the courtyard itself is absolutely charming. Stepping through the gate, you're greeted by a classic Old Beijing Siheyuan, with its grey bricks, dark tiles, and covered walkways, all centered around a large tree. In the morning, with the sun streaming into the courtyard, enjoying a bowl of congee feels incredibly leisurely. The room, though not large, is exquisitely designed, with comfortable bedding and a bathroom featuring a separate shower and toilet, complete with a smart toilet. Thirdly, the service was wonderfully attentive. The young lady at the front desk, seeing we had elderly parents and a child, proactively helped us with our luggage. Breakfast was abundant, and they even gave us a small gift when we checked out – excellent! Overall, if you want to experience an Old Beijing Siheyuan without compromising on comfort, this place is truly ideal. It's especially perfect for families traveling with parents and children, offering both charm and convenience."

"The hotel's location is excellent, with two subway lines nearby; the closest is Line 10. Taxis are also readily available. All the staff, starting from the front desk, were warm and professional. The public facilities reminded me of international hotels, and the breakfast met expectations. Overall, I'm very satisfied and will definitely stay here again next time I visit Beijing!"

The best part is the location – it's just a short stroll to Panjiayuan, and there are plenty of shops nearby. The front desk staff were gentle yet professional. Check-in and check-out were quick and smooth, with no delays. They patiently and meticulously answered all my questions, providing attentive service that made the entire experience comfortable. The guest rooms were exceptionally clean and tidy, with excellent ventilation and natural light. The overall environment was quiet and peaceful, with excellent soundproofing. The bedding was soft, clean, and fluffy, and the mattress was just right – so relaxing to lie on. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and no unpleasant odors. The toiletries were comprehensive and effective, and the facilities were well-maintained, contributing to a high-quality living experience. I have to specifically praise the hotel's breakfast buffet! The variety was truly extensive and complete, with a great mix of Chinese and Western options, and a good balance of meat and vegetables – so many choices! There were Chinese hot dishes, various congees, steamed buns, noodles, cold appetizers, and a full array of Western bread, cakes, toast, salads, and drinks. The biggest bonus was the live noodle station, where fresh noodles and wontons were made on the spot. The broth was savory and delicious, with rich toppings and an authentic taste. Ingredients were replenished fresh daily, and restocking was quick, so there were never any empty platters. The fruits were fresh and juicy, and the desserts had a delicate texture. The overall taste was light and palatable, not greasy. The restaurant environment was clean and bright, and tables were cleared promptly, making for a very comfortable dining experience. Overall, I could clearly feel the standardized service and meticulous attention to detail from both the HUAZHU and Mercure brands. With its attentive service, clean environment, and consistent dining quality, this hotel is undoubtedly the top choice in the South Station area, whether for business trips, leisure travel, or high-speed rail transfers. I will definitely be returning on my next visit to Beijing!"
