Zhangye West Railway Station
The room is very clean and very comfortable. In addition, every guest is given a foot bath bucket and white fungus and red date porridge every night👍👍 I recommend everyone to stay in this hotel when going to Zhangye to see the colorful Danxia.

Shazhou Market
The room was large and clean. Yogurt, fruit and breakfast were provided. Xiao Dai and Xiao He, the front desk staff, were also very nice, very gentle and patient. This hotel also provides airport pick-up and drop-off services. The person who was responsible for sending us was Master Li, who brought us local special snacks. The service was very enthusiastic throughout the whole process, and they helped us move our luggage and take pictures. Actually, I originally booked another hotel, but later I found that this hotel has a very good location, right next to the night market, and there is a bus to the scenic area next to it. There is also airport pick-up service. It is really very convenient. In short, I am very grateful to Xiao Dai, Sister Xiao He and Master Li for their warm and thoughtful service. I really highly recommend this restaurant! ! !

Datang Food Street
The hotel has a pick-up service, which is very convenient. It is not far from the airport for more than 10 kilometers. The luxurious hotel is not as big as the promotional picture, but the bathroom is very big. There are many places to eat nearby. The front desk service attitude is very good. It is worth staying. I will come here again next time I transfer.

Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Moon Spring
The room was very clean, the service was friendly, and the front desk lady upgraded the family room for free, which was very nice. The breakfast was also very good, and the hotel was in a good location. It was very cheap to take a taxi. It was very close to Shazhou Night Market and Crescent Moon Lake, and it only cost 5 yuan to get to the night market. After comparing it with 4-star hotels, I feel that this hotel is very cost-effective. Recommended 👍👍👍👍👍
Runhu Holiday Hotel

Bell Tower
We stayed 4 nights at the Runhu Hotel while we visited all the tourist attractions around Zhangye, including trips to the Gobi desert, Ping Shan Hu (Grand Canyon), the Alien Valley and other sites. The hotel - which is clean, spacious and quiet - has motivated employees who are happy to meet any request. The restaurant is actually very good with reasonable prices the buffet breakfast also was varied and of very good quality. The hotel also provides such services as nightly warm milk deliver and a foot soaking tub with epsom salts with no extra charge. The hotel also referred us to a driver with his own very nice and well kept car. He, Mr. Li, went way above and beyond what anyone could expect. He provided snacks, fruits, water and some sort of local soft drink and arranged tickets in advance where reservations were required and made sure to adapt those reservations when the weather closed one of the sites. His recommendations for local food at or near the various sites were also spot on. While the places were simple (and very inexpensive), the food was honest and good. You can bank on Mr. Li to make sure everything goes along smoothly. All you have to do is tell him what you want to see, or ask him for recommendations, and he will do the rest. In short, splendid hotel for the price with terrific service and if you need a driver, Mr. Li is your guy!
Hexi Corridor Grand Hotel

Shazhou Market
We got free upgrade to the suite so that was nice. Very pretty river view and not as noisy as some of the reviews I've read. Probably because the weather was getting chilly. Room was very spacious, even for just the size of the bedroom alone. Bed was comfortable and not too soft. But I will say that the light switches in the rooms and also the smart toilet seat were very confusing. Strangely, it had a large bathtub area, but a separate and very squished shower closet. The water didn't quite drain properly also. Breakfast was okay. But considering how the city really is just a town in the desert, I'd say it's actually pretty good. The local restaurants are also options, but we had to get up super early for day trips, and didn't feel like freezing outside to look for food when it's still dark. Side note, the night market in town is nice but not much going on outside of that area. The hotel is not in the city centre, but since the city is small, taxi is the way to go. We actually end up just getting the phone number of one of the taxi driver, and called her whenever we planned to head out. I chose the hotel based on aesthetics and was not disappointed. But our suite was in the end of a very long hallway, so get ready to walk if you are not near the elevator.

Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Moon Spring
I have to give this hotel a thumbs up! Service: Very friendly. After parking the car, the hotel helped to carry the luggage in. Fruits were prepared in the room, and drinks were available. It was really generous! There was also a washing machine available. Facilities: There are projectors, electric toilets, etc., all good The most important thing is that the hotel is very close to Mingsha Mountain, and you can walk there without worrying about traffic jams. We went there on the first night. There were really 10,000 people at the concert. After the show, we walked back easily without worrying about not being able to get a taxi or traffic jams. The next morning, we went to play the beach project again. There were not many people in the morning, and there was no need to queue up for camel riding. After playing, we went back to take a shower and check out at noon. It was really convenient.

Shazhou Market
The hotel was spotless , quiet and provided all the latest amenities. There was great choice for breakfast and the staff were very attentive, even bringing local dishes over to us to try and ensuring we had everything we needed. The hotel reception staff were also extremely friendly and helpful always ready to assist with a smile. A big thank you to Wang Ying who helped to hail a taxi and explain where we wanted to go.
FUNLIST & MAY HOTEL Lanzhou
9.7/51667 Reviews
Olympic Sports Center/Lanzhou Old Street
Read my other review. Rebooked a Consecutive night stay only because I didn't want to busy myself changing hotel. Nice hotel if you look pass the querks. Breakfast and laundry is a trudge to its sister hotel through an open corridor that channels and accelerate the wind. Think cold winter morning and night. Metal door handles on the outside of the entrance. Room access card for the lift automatically lights up multiple floors. Try this when you get a top floor room. Just to mention a few. Front desk is peculiar. Friendly BUT! They are not very knowledgeable about local information. They request repeatedly for direct booking for subsequent night stays BUT they will only match the best price you can find online. What about my loyalty points and promo coupons? They also pester for perfect reviews and ratings. But they will only give generic responses, albeit politely. Very system generated barely matching current AI tech.
Lanzhou Center Suits Hotel

Gansu Provincial Museum/Lanzhou Center
First of all the hotel is in a great location, right next to Lanzhou centre (with direct access) near the gansu museum and gansu women and children's hospital. If that's not enough it's also close to the subway station. The rooms were spacious and clean and we felt very comfortable in them, the morning breakfast had plenty of options and was satisfactory. My only issue with this hotel is the elevator wait times (although that's not an issue with the hotel itself rather the building) when going from the ground floor to the hotel rooms we would often wait a few.minutes for the lift, when it arrived people would push infront ensuring no more space. When I left the hotel at 10 in the morning it took me over 20 minutes to just get an elevator with space to go down, i tried taking the stairs but the doors were locked. Overall a good hotel i wouldn't stay again just because of the elevator, everything else is perfect.
