What a lovely gem of a hotel! I was reluctantly (very reluctantly) persuaded to leave Beijing for the weekend and head for the nesrest beach - Qinhuangdao. The Bullet Train was great fun - we splashed out on first-class tickets and had the first-class cabin all to ourselves. Qinhuangdao was a welcome change of pace from the self-important hussle of Beijing. The bad things first - the weather was terrible and the beach itself is more 1970s Blackpool than present-day Antibes. But the Hampton by Hilton was a delightful surprise. The staff are absolutely delightful. Although they don’t speak English, the use of a few translation apps soon explained to them what we needed and they always did their best to look after us. The rooms are great - we even got a free upgrade to a suite. The breakfast options are many and varied. We were the only Western guests that weekend and the other guests seemed to be Chinese middle-class families. If I had to guess I would say they tended to be from other parts of China as they didn’t seem to be the usual rude impatient Beijingers. It was lovely to see Al the little children having fun with their parents. So, our thanks to the ladies at Reception, the young concierge guys, the housekeepers and the busy breakfast staff. The owners of the this hotel is blessed with great staff. Thank you all so much for looking after us so well.

Hotel is beautiful and the service was top notch. Upon arrival, the front desk let us know that the room we had booked online didn’t have a great view, so they automatically upgraded us for free, without my even having to ask. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The outdoor grounds are beautiful and relaxing. We had breakfast in the hotel restaurant and it was an elegant array of Chinese dishes along with a few western options. Location is ideal—within walking distance to the Summer Mountain Resort and restaurants and shops. Would definitely recommend this as a high-quality hotel for a stay in Chengde.

Location is great. Front desk seemed to not really know how to register foreigners, taking a long time when it’s actually quite simple process. They should be kept updated on new immigration policies China has implemented to ensure smooth process for all the guests. Also they had quite hard time to explain in Chinese (on phone) how it works to get in to Jinshanling Great Wall. Concierge however was nice and helpful. Their service was 10/5 and raises the overall to 5/5 from 3/5. Restaurant is fine, prices are quite high but given that food was edible and no other options it is acceptable. Breakfast is good enough. Cleanliness is ok, bed sheets are clean but bathroom is not so clean, quite many stains. Taking better care of the room could and would allow cheaper maintenance in long term. Bit of dust also. Hotel should offer transit service to its customers from railway station so they wouldn’t be stranded and aggressively faced by locals offering ride. Great Wall itself is amazing so I can only hope hotel would step up its game for the future.

Very satisfied with the stay experience. The lobby is large and the environment is very good. The front desk clerk, Comrade Wang Xinyi, is very attentive and considerate. Check-in is fast. The room facilities are complete, the bed is very comfortable, the room is large, the lighting is good, and the breakfast is also great. There is free parking, and travel is also very convenient. They also help with free late check-out, which is very good!

The service is good and the room is comfortable But there are the following shortcomings The switch indicator light in the room will stay on at night, there is no one-button power off function, you can only turn off the light The curtains have only two positions, open and closed, and cannot be stopped at any time No projection and video on demand The same room type in other cities has a slightly smaller space and a smaller sofa

The staff are nice and very approachable They are wonderful and helpful. Check - in and check out were hassle free. In terms of the location, it may not be at the centre of commercial area (McDonald's wont deliver there) but it is just across the Handan East Railway Station so it is good. The facilities are better than expected. Breakfast maybe is amazing for Chinese but for non- Chinese, the choices are limited. In general, it is a good hotel and I highly recommend it specially for those who needs to travel via Railway.

The hotel is very clean, but the equipment is old. The mirror frame in the bathroom is broken, and the shower head is not very good. Other things are OK. The location of the hotel is very good. There are restaurants on the first, second and third floors, and it is also convenient to eat around. There are parking spaces in the backyard and three-dimensional parking spaces. The most praiseworthy thing is the buffet breakfast, which has a rich variety, a good environment and good taste. It covers 90% of the needs of coming to Beidaihe (except for the check-in of Internet celebrities). It is also very convenient to take a taxi to nearby scenic spots. I stayed for two days and caught up with the sunrise with the rolling sea of ​​clouds and the sunrise with the clear blue sky. The tallest hotel near the Gold Coast, with an independent yard for easy parking. It is really close to the sea. You can enjoy the sea while lying on the bed. The sunrise in the morning dyes the sky red, which is very beautiful. The room is of suitable size, clean and tidy, with old-fashioned decoration style. There is a refrigerator and the bathroom quality is good. The restaurant is also a sea view restaurant with many seafood dishes. It is a great thing in life to look out at the sea and taste the seafood.

Our stay at this beachfront hotel was wonderful. The clean room and stunning ocean views made for a relaxing retreat. Watching the sunrise and strolling along the beach added to the charm. The hot springs in our room were a unique and enjoyable feature.The staff was friendly and helpful, enhancing our experience. The dinner buffet, priced at 169 RMB, offered a fantastic variety of seafood and other dishes, making it a must-try. Overall, we were highly satisfied with our stay and recommend this hotel for its excellent location and amenities.

The king-size bed room on the high floor, the sun shines through the gauze curtains and gently falls on the bed. When we wake up in the morning, the sun caresses our face. It feels so wonderful. Looking out the window, the sea is right in front of us. The lights are on at night, dazzling. Enjoy this beautiful scenery with your lover, and the romantic atmosphere is directly full. The bedding is clean and soft. Lying on it is like being wrapped in clouds, and the comfort level is full. When sleeping at night, the sound insulation effect is very good, and you can't hear the noise outside. You can enjoy a sweet dream with your lover in a quiet environment. Very safe and great place to stay! This is very close to Aranya if that's where you need to be, but staying at this hotel will not give you access/entrance to Aranya as it is outside the community. There are numerous facilities onsite making it a great destination to spend a few nights at and unwind. It seems very family-friendly as well. Location-wise, I'm not sure what else is around that is open access to the public, so I would do research if you plan on going to the beach and exploring surrounding landmarks. Also, so many stuffed bears. Love it.

A very nice service, listening to guest’s need. Fruit plate every afternoon with delicious fruits. I asked and got room changed due to noise and smell from kitchen. Also agreed to checkout 2 hours later than regular checkout time.

Very cute and charming hotel which it is actually a museum! Just on the side of the entrance to the Shanhai Pass and in walking distance to several attractions. The staff is very friendly and welcoming! Can not thank you enough for all you great attentions and help also recommendations during my stay. The hotel restaurant definitely a must to try the food is delicious! Definitely will be back to this hotel and recommend to anybody visiting Shanhaiguan!!

The location was very good. It was very close to Tiger Stone beach which was a beautiful place. The streets around this hotel are very cozy, lined with pines. The hotel management was very cooperative and welcoming. The room was very comfortable. I only missed one thing and that was a connection between the lobby and the room. There was a disconnection between the two and it felt like I was living in an apartment room. Else everything was perfect. I recommend this hotel at 北戴河。

I have been to Beidaihe twice. This National Day, I decided to visit Beidaihe with my family of four for two or three days. It turned out that this decision was extremely correct. The biggest success was booking this hotel. God knows how happy I was to be able to stay in a hotel with new facilities and a large area at a suitable price during the National Day holiday. What was especially happy was that two adults and two children stayed in a double 1.8 large bed. In addition to the large bed that allowed our family of four to arrange their beds at will, and the children's 360-degree rotation when sleeping, the shower was really easy to use, and the water flow was more dense than that of many five-star hotels (see picture). The sense of happiness was up up up~ In short, I want to recommend the Ai Shang Sea Garden Seaview Hotel to the world! I will definitely stay here next time I come to Beidaihe~

The interior of the hotel is remarkable. It also has a glass sliding door design. You don't have to open the door to the bed when you pull it up. The bedding has some texture. The area is large enough. There is a dry and wet separation. There are robots for takeout. The sense of space in the public area is also good. There is free parking. There is a McDonald's and some small restaurants next door. What can be improved is that the road outside the main entrance has a bit of an urban-rural combination style.

The location of the hotel is great. The rooms were clean and generally tidy. I was surprised to find however that there were no disposable slippers although that maybe a hotel policy to prevent waste but I think they should be made available on request. Breakfast had a good selection and was worth the cost. Sadly, we did not have time to avail of any of the other facilities in the hotel. The weak point seems to be the check in process. It took far too long, I do not expect to spend fifteen minutes to check into a hotel with a prepaid reservation. There is no issue with language as I can speak Chinese. I realise that there are extra steps to deal with when dealing with overseas guests but they seemed pretty clueless when I presented them with a permanent resident card and insisted on my passport instead. The fact there was no entry stamp in my passport as it is new confused them even more and I had to waste more time finding my old passport which luckily I had with me. I was then asked various questions concerning my travel history which in over a decade in China I have never been asked before and when I asked why they needed this information there was no definitive answer given. I also received a follow up call encouraging me to leave a review and to join their membership program, this is not expected and guests information should not be used for marketing. I expect that a manager will see this review and should note these concerns and speak to their reception team to rectify this.

The room we were given only had a small window but it had a nice view and comfortable bed. Only complaint is that the room is a bit dated and had strong smell of cigarettes even though we asked for non smoking. Afternoons tea is a nice feature

Location is superb which public bus stop is just in front of the hotel, airport bus stop also right in front, metro is just 300m walking distance away… WanLiMiao Pedestrian Streets is just beside the hotel which have nice lighting at night And a few big shopping mall just walking distance away.. Nice Place 👍 Grand lobby area with very polite bell boy and receptionist.. The room is a bit disappointed compare to the Grand Lobby area they have 🫣🫢 but is clean (The price is for the room,the grand lobby is a bonus☺️) They provide free snacks in the room everyday (fruits,small bread,milk and etc) Will choose this hotel again for the next visit 😊

Hotel is situated within a neighbourhood area, suitable for those interested to experience the city from a local viewpoint. Grocery/departmental stores and various food choices within a stone's throw. Hotel staff is attentive and does great work ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Will stay here again.

The May Day family tour in Chengde, considering the location, room environment, surrounding facilities, price and other factors, finally booked Tianbao Holiday, stayed for three nights, very satisfied. The hotel is located in the city center, with complete surrounding facilities. Shopping malls, supermarkets, civic squares, night markets, restaurants, etc. are basically within a radius of one kilometer and can be reached on foot. It is not far from the Summer Resort, you can walk, ride a shared electric motorcycle, or take a taxi at the starting price. Parking at the hotel is also very convenient, with parking lots on the ground and underground. The hotel rooms are clean and tidy, and the decoration is relatively new. The room we booked has a floor-to-ceiling window with a great view! The children like to take the hotel's sightseeing elevator the most. The staff is enthusiastic and Pingping is beyond professional and warm-hearted. There is free Tremella soup in the evening, and the children drink it every night. There is a shortage of water and laundry detergent, and the response is super fast. Overall, the hotel is still very good, and I will choose Tianbao Holiday next time I come to Chengde!

We were warmly welcomed on checking in, and were pleasantly surprised to be given a complimentary upgrade, followed by a room with a waterfront view. The travel desk offered private English-speaking tours to various locations; we took the tour to the famed Mountain Resort 避暑山庄. Hospitality provided by the reception desk was graciously warm. All-in-all, I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone staying over, even if it were just for 1 night.

This time I went to Chengde and booked the Puning Hotel, which is very close to the Little Potala Palace, museums, and Puning Temple. There are also many places to eat in the surrounding area and all kinds of conveniences. The courtyard of the hotel is bright and spacious, and the parent-child room with a small courtyard is very satisfactory. The service is excellent. In addition to snacks, facial masks and plasters are thoughtfully prepared as gifts, and the details are full of details. There is also a small night market at the door at night. The back street leads directly to the Summer Resort, which is within walking distance. The hotel upgraded me to a superior king-size bed room for free, which was very satisfying. They also gave me two bottles of drinks for free, one bottle of Coke and one bottle of Sprite. It was raining in Chengde that day, and they lent me an umbrella, which was very nice. The service of Xuanxuan and Mingming at the front desk was also very good. I was very satisfied.

I have parcel not able to reach the hotel and the receptionist, 赵丽伟and her colleagues were helping me to contact the delivery man to make sure my parcel can arrive hotel on time.
