GGuest UserIt was a very pleasant experience in this hotel. Then service was really great, Xiao Wang and Xiao Fan did a really great job and made us feel very welcome.
The breakfast was also really good with western and Chinese choices. The cook was such a lovely and friendly guy. The room was perfect and we could see the while mountain resort and hammer rock in the distance.
We would definitely stay again here.

WWeiletangshuhuaThe room, while not huge, was charmingly appointed and comfortable, complete with a balcony offering mountain views. The mattress was incredibly comfortable, and they offered a selection of pillows to suit individual preferences. The room was generously stocked with complimentary snacks and drinks, which were replenished whenever we ran out. The provided tea selection was excellent, and in the evening, we had a complimentary matcha experience delivered to our room, which we could prepare ourselves. The service was exceptional; a dedicated butler was always on hand to assist with any needs. The bathroom amenities were also high-quality and very pleasant to use. All these thoughtful touches created a truly special and refined experience. They provided comfortable pajamas in the room, perfect for wearing directly to the hot spring baths – a truly considerate detail. Overall, my child absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave. We definitely want to visit again.

They poured hot tea when you entered. There are many books in the lobby of the hotel. There is also a laundry room in the restaurant. The laundry room is fully functional and can be used for washing and drying. It also has a garment steamer. The laundry products are also very professional. The hotel has a robot. , can deliver takeaways, very convenient, very close to the high-speed rail station, and there are many restaurants nearby. You can’t go wrong choosing Atour when you come to Zhangjiakou. The service is very good, with a smile!

HHaobaishaoI stayed here last winter when I came to soak in the hot springs. I was very satisfied with the private room last time. This time I wanted to go around, so I asked the front desk to help me get a room facing the sea. Wang Zeyu, the front desk, quickly arranged the room after hearing our needs. Thank you! It’s a good experience to walk on the wooden boardwalk by the sea. The water lilies in the park are so beautiful. Especially this week, I went to the vegetation near the seaside (behind the hot springs), where there are many locusts, and it is a good season for the fragrance of locust flowers. There are also tourists and fishing enthusiasts digging on the beach. This time I know how the sandworms were found. It’s always a fresh experience to stay in this hotel. I don’t know what fun and delicious things I will find next time.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in a small village, a bit far from Beidaihe beach, so it's best if you're driving. The exterior looks like a castle and is quite grand; many people come here for wedding photoshoots. The lobby for check-in is quite small, essentially just a sales office. The service staff were very enthusiastic and helped with luggage. After checking in, I found the room to be small, and the facilities were just average. Most items on display required an extra charge, and the faucets and tissue box were dirty. Although the bathroom was spacious, the shower faucet couldn't adjust the water temperature – only scalding hot water came out. Breakfast is on the basement level and doesn't offer much variety. Overall, this stay was quite disappointing. I hope the hotel provides more practical services. We didn't see any stars in the 'starry sky room', and the 'fun park' was just a quick walk-through with only some old facilities.

MMichael Exploring China and BeyondWe booked into the Holiday Inn Suites at ”Holiday Inn Langfang”, this time around.
Our previous visits to this hotel, were not particularly good, with service ”a lack of service”, being the primary reason.
Nevertheless, we wanted to try the ”Suites” section this time, and also see if things have improved.
Unfortunately, we were yet again inconvenienced at check in.
This is the only hotel, in China, in our experience that seem to not be favourable towards foreign guests.
Bearing in mind that we have visited numerous hotels, and have been living and working here for around four years.
Other than the most unpleasant check in process, our overall stay was fairly good.
The ”suite” has a fairly spacious layout, and the rate is relatively affordable.
We were very disappointed to learn that the swimming pool, was not operational (this whilst it's advertised on Trip.com).
We do enjoy the Breakfast at this hotel, in fact, we have breakfast here at least once a week.
Previously, we found that the Dish Name Cards at the Breakfast Buffet, are only in Chinese.
This is still the case, WHY?
As it's an ”International Brand”, hence we expect a level of English as well.
This can be such a lovely Hotel, if only they would work on improving their service levels.
With that said, we received excellent service from ”Allen”, whom tried his best to meet our requirements.
(Perhaps, his management, could learn some professional courtesy from him).
There are numerous hotels around, and if this one wishes to remain busy, best they improve their service, especially towards foreign guests.

GGuest UserMy first stay of the new year was at this former HI flagship. Compared to how HI is increasingly becoming like a budget hotel chain, seemingly cutting costs at every turn, this particular hotel, with its gym, pool, independent Chinese restaurant, and proximity to a shopping complex, is truly worth a visit.
Before checking in, I contacted Zeke, a staff member at the front desk, who courteously and thoughtfully reserved a room for us. Welcome fruits were all ready. Upon hearing we were arriving by high-speed rail in the afternoon, he even proactively arranged a late check-out for our room.
Although I didn't get to experience the fitness facilities or the Chinese restaurant on this trip, having a quiet, warm, and comfortable place to relax after shopping with my family at MixC (about a 10-minute walk) until 10 PM made for a wonderful memory.

The room was very comfortable, and I was very satisfied with the bedding and cleanliness. It also has a private beach, which is clean, quiet, and not crowded. It feels private, with a lifeguard, and feels very safe.
Fishing nearby is a rare bonus, and it satisfied my father, who loves fishing. He caught dozens of fish and had a blast casting.
Cons:
Beach loungers are available for guests to rent at 50 yuan each. They should be included in the hotel's amenities, but they have the nerve to charge for them.
For a hotel with international connections, the breakfast offerings of instant, sweet coffee are quite subpar. The quality of the food needs to be improved.
The overall service attitude and quality of the restaurant staff need to be improved. Even after breakfast, there were still guests enjoying themselves, playing with toast.
For dining in the surrounding area, you'll need to drive out. You can order takeout.

MManyouyoudezouMy stay at the Hampton by Hilton Qinhuangdao Jinmenghaiwan was really good. First off, the front desk staff were warm, polite, and spoke courteously. They were very efficient with the check-in process. Even though it was freezing cold, the warm jujube tea offered by the staff instantly made me feel cozy. The room was clean, tidy, bright, and comfortable. The service from the 10th-floor staff was attentive, making me feel right at home!

GGuest UserThe experience of staying at Atour Hotel MixC Handan East Station this time was perfect! The lobby is super large, with a small reception area and a super large book bar. I consulted the hotel front desk and found out there are about 1,000 books. There is coffee to taste in the lobby. The front desk staff is professional and enthusiastic. They serve tea when you enter the store and warm water when you leave the store. They also thoughtfully prepare welcome fruits. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offer a panoramic view of the city night view. The bedding is soft and skin-friendly, the bathroom supplies are all big brands, and the smart devices are easy to operate. There are rich varieties of breakfast, and the waitress can also make special delicacies. The gym and laundry facilities are first-class, and the service staff are always available to help. Highly recommended to friends who pursue quality, it is definitely worth the money!
