"We rented the apartment and one single room. The staff are very friendly. Both place has harbour view. The apartment is not very close to the hotel and there is a 10 minutes walk. But the apartment is very lovely. The only thing is that there are no lifts In either place. Also, the window for the hotel room are very old and has the 2 wood boards instead of the curtains. It is very original, but not really sound proof."

"4 of us . Just popped in for a pint and ended up having food . Between us we had 2 x welsh burgers and chips, chicken burger and chips, veggie burger and chips , they all came with the best coleslaw in mid wales , the quality of the burgers were spot on, fries were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle (lovely) . There’s a new owner who was very welcoming very friendly and accommodating . Wish we weren’t driving as we’d have stayed for longer for the rugby. A nice touch as there was a free raffle prize of a Fiji rugby shirt on offer . All 4 of us have given a 5 star rating and we’d recommend to anyone wanted a pint and some food or to watch some sports to come here . We will pop back next time we are here . "

"I had a lovely stay here, right in the centre of this beautiful little town. The breakfast was absolutely incredible, obviously the focus and worth the trip on its own - I would have loved to have stayed longer to try more of the food. The room was also very well-equipped and fresh, with some generous extra touches and genuinely one of the most comfortable mattresses I've ever slept on. The entrance hall and corridors are pretty rustic and tired, which could give a bad first impression if it wasn't for the friendly welcome from the team, but otherwise everywhere is very nicely decorated and clearly a lot of thought has gone into it."

"On checking in we were shown to our room. The room was ample in size. The bed was very comfortable enabling a good nights sleep. The en-suite had been refurbished with a shower. A problem with water pressure was promptly attended to. As we were eating as a group of fourteen, we had pre ordered, and our meals were served speedily all together. Our choices of food were hot and well presented. There was a good choice on the breakfast menu again served without delay. The staff were attentive nothing being too much trouble making for a relaxing stay."

"We found ourselves in a very beautiful house of three guest bedrooms. The whole house was tastefully decorated and our host very friendly and helpful. Fresh milk and water was provided daily. The bed was very comfortable. I was a bit hot on the first night but our considerate host provided a sheet to put under the duvet AND a lovely Dyson fan."
