"Hotel is quite close to the airport. Check in was slow. There was no introduction to hotel facilities. I felt lucky just to get a room key from the employee who was clearly just struggling with the basics of the process. Room layout is bad for business travelers. No desk, no proper chair. The horror started on the first night with incredibly loud music behind the hotel. Hotel management was useless to reduce the volume and acted as if this were my problem. I asked to speak with the GM but was refused. The duty manager was not helpful and I had to organize a change of room by myself. The staff are so poorly trained that - even though they saw that I was without my luggage during this process and even though I told them I would go back up to move my things - they shut off key to my original room with all my things inside. I had to go back to reception after realizing this and get the key enabled. No-one helped with the process of changing rooms. Gym is small and limited. Exec lounge is a mystery. I'm not sure what service it actually provides. Breakfast was bizarre, coffee machine mostly didn't work, and the same food from breakfast just sat there all day. Pity anyone who goes in the evening thinking it's fresh and tries something. No evidence of evening cocktails or anything like that. Staff did not speak English. Beds are lumpy and pillows too thin. Checkout took forever with staff who seemed to be doing it for the first time. The hotel has all the signs that none of the management or staff have any training and most have probably never stayed in a hotel. Avoid this place."

"Staying for 9 nights - tonight is Saturday... I ordered room service, nothing too completed - one dish - steak and chips and within 2 mins I had someone at the door - they then proceed to try and get into my room demanding a menu - trying to push past me - I refused and then complained over the phone - and re-ordered my meal - I had to call 3 times to chase the order - I was told it was coming.... nothing.... Eventually I went to reception and had to ask 5 people if I could speak to a manager... eventually after 15 minutes someone came out... Left me in reception for more than 5 mins I decided it's time for bed... When they saw me at the elevator.... they came rushing to apologise. Too late - the guy should have never tried to get into my room. Shocking and scary. Never again."

"The positive:the rooms are functionnal, good bedding, crisp air con, WIFI working, hotel is tidy. Room for improvement: The restaurant and bar: food is average at best. severla items are running out and are not available( ie : draught beer on a saturday evening- sliced bread on a thursday @20:30 depsite the restaurant advertising promotions on sandwiches). My biggest issue was with Breakfast: coffee machines ( both) out of order on a few occasions- shortage of juice- stale pastry on a sunday morning(!??). Room cleanlyness: small details such as water marks on the balck painted door of the bathroom ( not a train smash- it just gives a negative impression). Overall an ok business hotel on a budget, nicely located in the cneter of Abidjan."
