"Has the potential to improve. Lovely view from the restaurant. Within walking distance of the shopping area, lake, restaurants and Gurdwara. There was no fridge in the bedroom. Customer service would benefit from improvement. There was an uncovered quilt on the bed which felt dirty. No toiletries. No bottled water in the bedroom. Very noisy location. Owner tried to charge for breakfast when the booking was already booked with breakfast. Owner wanted payment in cash, in rupees which was not specified at the time of booking. I wouldn't stop here again."

"My experience was very good after staying at Pratap Mahal Resort. All the staff were well behaved and got prompt services. Special thanks to Kashish Ma'am, because the day we entered the resort was our wedding anniversary, and she personally discussed with me about the decorations related to our wedding anniversary. And they decorated our room very beautifully which was provided complimentary by the resort. Breakfast was also very good. I would like to thank everyone that instead of considering us as guests, we were treated like family members."

"We booked three rooms well in advance (around 2 months before arrival). owner asked for confirmation, and received it. However, when we arrived at hotel, he informed us in a very straightforward, unapologetic manner that he could not give us the three rooms we've booked for the two nights, so we will have to move to another hotel of his, unregistered and unrecognized on any site (we checked) which has none of the facilities advertised for this one (no court, no charm, no dinning area, nothing). The whole exchange was almost violent, with owner very rude and pushy. it was only after we bluntly demanded a discount on rate we committed to pay for the Kanhaia, that he agreed. All in all, we had a very unpleasant experience and do not recommend the place."
