"The hotel boasts stunning scenery, consistently ranking first among hotels in the Kansai region for its breathtaking views – a well-deserved reputation. All rooms appear to have ocean views, and the open-air onsen (photographed when no one was around) is also fantastic. Highly recommended.
The hotel doesn't provide shuttle service, but there is a public bus (however, it stops running very early or very late, so check in advance). A welcome drink, late-night ramen, and several different levels of breakfast and dinner are offered. Overall, the accommodation and dining experience is excellent.
Ako isn't a particularly popular tourist destination, but this hotel is definitely worth recommending."
"Love this hotel, room is clean, great facilities.. and front desk service on check-in is quick and efficient. Special thanks to Ms Kasahara and Ms. Ishino for their kind assist especially on our bicycles. Strongly recommend!"
"Until now, we hadn't had a long holiday, but now that my husband has retired, we are finally able to go on a trip. Ako is just the right distance away, an hour and a half by car or train, and this winter we enjoyed going to hot springs and oysters every month. I would like to share the excellent food and wonderful location with my family again and make it a memorable experience.
Thank you to all the staff at Ginpaso for your kind consideration💕"
"The hot springs were great! I especially enjoyed the open-air bath at Aoumi-no-Yu, which had a variety of different baths.
The view from the room was also spectacular.
The staff were also very friendly.
I arrived early, but they didn't make me wait long and I was able to relax in my room."
"The hotel was accidentally brushed, first like the Seto Inland Sea and then attracted by the fierce and lively name of creative cuisine and swallowing the sea. The hotel is built on a cliff by the sea, two soup pools, one is indoor up and down are full of huge rocks, and the other is completely open-air. The weather was cold that day, the whole person shrunk into a group. After the check-in, the female guest was open-air. After careful cleaning, she entered the soup pool and immediately relaxed. Although I was very heat-resistant, I took a breath of clear air and took a look at the flying snowflakes for a quarter of an hour! Meals should be seasonal ingredients. It is the oysters listed for dinner. There are two oysters that are big and fat. Other pre-casual raw fish grilled fish seafood stuffy rice is quite satisfactory. It is a very cost-effective hot spring hotel. By the way, there is also a pick-up station service."
"Japanese-style small hotel, the surrounding area is very interesting, you can stroll around, the owner is very cute. Recommend it to everyone. It's a convenient and good place. I didn’t eat breakfast"
"The Ryokan and room was incredible! It felt like travelling back in time. The onsen was also super nice. The only issues were that the Onsen was at the sister hotel. It was only a 5 minute drive, but it would have been nice if they had their own. Also, the food was incredible, we had the breakfast. However we did not order the dinner because we were not sure if we would arrive to the Ryokan in time. Unfortunately they did not have any food at all, if you did not order the full set meal ahead of time. We went to a restaurant nearby which was ok...but it would have been nice if they had a couple menu items that were available outside of the full pre-booked set meal. "
"Very satisfied experience! Definitely want to stay again many times!
The room is spacious and quiet, and the living experience is very comfortable! A whole floor-to-ceiling glass window is facing the sea view, just can see the sunrise, and I can't bear to pull the curtains when I sleep!
The room supplies are complete, especially the kitchen utensils, equipped with a variety of cooking equipment and basic seasonings. I like cooking and I immediately decided to stay in the room for three meals after I saw the kitchen!
The hotel basically uses a full self-service form. Most of the time, the front desk has no staff, but there is a contact information, you can call if you need it.
The hotel staff was also very friendly. When we checked in, there was a staff passing by. When we saw us, we immediately helped to move the luggage to the room, otherwise we would have to lift up the stairs.
In addition, we decided to use the balcony barbecue grill after we checked in, but because it was too late to inform the hotel, the hotel could not prepare ingredients, but they also prepared the barbecue grill for us and told us in detail that there are places nearby where we can buy barbecue ingredients."
