"Just spent the weekend at the retreat and stayed in one of the lodges. The lodge was immaculate and the hot tub clean and the perfect temperature. We have stayed in a lot of places and this was the first place we have stayed where we were planning our next visit before we left! Garry was so helpful and managed to find us firewood when all the shops were closed over Easter weekend so we could sit by the loch with a camp fire 2 nights in a row! He lit the BBQ for us which was amazing and I highly recommend. The drinks package was varied and reasonably priced and there are great pubs nearby. If (when!) you booking I would recommend contacting Garry (with 2 r’s) for the local information as he was so helpful and made the trip effortless and memorable!"

"This was an excellent venue to break a journey home from the Scottish IsIands. The hotel is dated and somewhat basic, but this is reflected in the less than average price. The car park was full when we arrived, making it necessary to park on the road, but once in the hotel not many people were using the bar and restaurant facilities. Room was clean, but small, as was the bathroom. We left early next morning because of a long drive, so did not have breakfast."

"Set in beautiful surroundings, with a little care and attention this hotel could be beautiful. Bedroom was ok but very musty smell in corridor, staff lovely, food adequate although small portions. Trip to Oban was too long 4 hours with nothing much to do."
