"It is much more personal in a small inn than in a hotel. As with a fine restaurant, and they have one, the relationship with the guest is front and center. The innkeeper's profession requires discipline, skill and passion. The Auberge is literally and figuratively in the heart of this charming little town. The owners and staff are fine ambassadors for the village.. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and very clean. Despite its age, wifi, good lighting and a very comfotable bed are positives. The modern elevator/lift is a welcome feature.. As with any ancient town, patking may be a bit of a challenge. There may or may not be spaces available in front of the inn, but several large lots are a few block away. French breakfasts are somewhat predictable, but the quality of the components are not. Here, everything is selected and presented with care. Freshly squeezed juice, superb yoghurt, fine coffee and excellent bread and pastries are indicative of a superior venue. At the quieter end of town, and with a caring and knowledgeable crew, this is an ideal place to enjoy this beautiful corner of Brittany."

"Warm and comfortable with quirky rooms. The breakfast is good and the staff friendly. An old building that can be a little noisy because of the staircase that runs up the middle of the building. Only downside really was that as the hotel had only four or five rooms occupied, it would have cost them nothing but created huge goodwill if we had been upgraded, which we weren’t…"
