The hotel's location is excellent, just over a kilometer from MixC Mall and about 3 kilometers from Longyan South Road. The lobby is very clean and modern, even better than the pictures online. The front desk staff was very welcoming, exceeding my expectations. The room itself was great, aside from not having an outside window and being a bit small. (Some of the sheets and towels were a bit worn, which could be checked and replaced). The hygiene was good, the decor details were nice, and the air conditioning worked well. Overall, the hotel surpassed my expectations. Although there was a minor hiccup during checkout, the hotel's resolution was satisfactory.

Extremely satisfied with my stay! The hotel overall was clean and grand, feeling very comfortable upon entering. The room was meticulously cleaned, with no dust even in the corners. The mattress was just right, not too soft nor too hard, allowing me to sleep soundly until morning. The WiFi speed was stable, perfect for both work and streaming videos. The front desk service was attentive, and they even thoughtfully provided information about nearby attractions. Both hygiene and service were top-notch, and the price was affordable. I'll definitely prioritize staying here again for my next trip!

This place has potential for improvement. The location is excellent, making it convenient to get around. The service attitude is great, and they even offer small gifts and fridge magnets. Now for the downsides: the soundproofing is terrible. At night, as soon as you close your eyes, you can feel the lively nightlife of Chaoshan. You constantly hear doors opening and closing in the hallway, water turning on and off next door, and motorbikes roaring down the street. The absolute worst, though, is the continuous sound of planes taking off and landing in the morning. As anyone who frequently watches IMAX knows, 'whether it's the sound of a needle dropping or the deafening roar of a plane engine...' Then there are the detail issues. I booked a twin room, but the shower and toilet are only separated by a fabric curtain with a gap you can see through. The distance from the bathroom door to the outer edge of the toilet bowl is only ten centimeters. Squatting down to use the toilet feels like a challenge to fit an elephant into a refrigerator. My current best solution is to squat with the door open, then close it, which then gives you a 'zero clearance' kind of beauty. On top of that, the sloped shelf above seems less meticulous, designed at just the right angle for everything placed on it to slide off, a rather 'clever' design flaw. After turning off the lights at night, the glowing toilet seat emits a faint light through the fabric curtain. Then there's the shower experience. I must say, the facilities are high-end. Initially, it's a bit of a puzzle, but once you roughly figure it out, you can adjust the temperature control knob like a master locksmith – a truly satisfying experience. Thoughtfully, they also provide eye masks and earplugs by the bed.

Getting around by taxi was super convenient; whether we were going to tourist spots or hunting for food, it was smooth sailing. The moment we walked into the hotel lobby, we were awestruck – the two-story high ceiling made the space incredibly grand and impressive, and there was even a Rolls-Royce parked in the middle. Right then, I felt like this trip was totally worth it! We stayed on the 16th floor, and as soon as we entered the room, we were captivated by the stunning city view from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The room amenities were also very thoughtful, including wireless charging and a spacious shower area. We could walk to Longyan South Road Food Street and MixC shopping mall, covering all our dining, drinking, and shopping needs. After eating, we could come back for a swim, and there's also a gym nearby where we could burn off some calories. No stress about eating too much! The breakfast was a buffet with a rich variety of options!

Traveling to Chaoshan with kids, choosing the Ultraman-themed family room at the Sheraton Shantou Longguang was definitely a highlight of our trip! The room was filled with Ultraman elements: themed bedding, wall murals, and a small tent. My child shrieked with excitement as soon as we entered and spent ages playing 'monster hunting' in the room, saving us a lot of energy entertaining them. It's a family room with a king-sized bed plus a bunk bed for kids, offering spacious accommodation for a family of four without feeling cramped. Kids' toiletries and small slippers were provided, showing great attention to detail. The hotel maintained excellent cleanliness and the facilities were well-kept. The location is a huge plus, right next to MixC shopping mall in the city center, making it convenient for finding food and strolling in small parks. The service was very attentive; check-in at the front desk was smooth, and requests were handled promptly. The breakfast selection was rich, including authentic Chaoshan rice noodles, catering to both adults and children. Highly recommended for families with Ultraman-obsessed kids, a top choice for family accommodation in Shantou! 👍

A hidden gem of a hotel! The rooms are clean and tidy, and you can tell the housekeeping staff pays attention to every detail. The furniture and appliances are all in good working order. The environment is quiet; you can barely hear any outside noise once the door is closed. For those driving, the parking lot and charging stations are a big plus, making it convenient to charge your car. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options, and the freshly prepared Kway Teow soup is authentic and delicious. It's truly a great place to stay when visiting Chaoshan~

The room was very spacious, making for a comfortable stay. The overall environment was extremely quiet, ensuring a high quality of rest. The common area has a laundry room with a dryer, which is super convenient for washing clothes while traveling. The guesthouse's decor has a great aesthetic vibe, it's very clean, and the facilities are complete. It's a short walk to both Longyan South Road and MixC, making it convenient for dining out. It's a great place to stay, very comfortable overall, and I'll definitely choose it again next time. Highly recommended!

I originally planned to visit Longyan South Road for some food, and this nearby hotel turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The room was spotlessly clean, and the facilities were complete. The two 1.5-meter beds were large and comfortable, and the bed linen felt quite new. Both the front desk and room service staff were quite friendly. The large projection screen was also a nice touch. The area around the hotel has a strong local vibe, mainly residential, so there's a fresh market and various small shops, which is very convenient. Downstairs, there's a Shengji Goose Restaurant that's pretty good. A short walk further, you'll find various local delicacies, including the intangible cultural heritage inkball noodles. Downsides: When I first entered the room, there was a strong sewage smell, but it disappeared after I took a shower. Also, there were people singing karaoke nearby at night, which was a bit noisy.

Located right next to MixC shopping mall, it's just a few minutes' walk to the commercial area. There are shared e-bikes right outside the entrance, making it convenient to get to Longyan South Road and Xiaogongyuan. 🛏️ The room was comfortable. The decor was simple and fresh, the space was generous, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The bedding was soft, and I slept soundly all night. It even came with a traditional Kung Fu tea set, which was a lovely touch and very characteristic of Chaoshan culture.

After much deliberation, I finally settled on Longhu Hotel, and it truly made for a very satisfying trip. The hotel's location is excellent, close to everything. Secondly, the rooms are very spacious. I was initially worried about the smoke smell mentioned in some negative reviews, but when I checked in, there was absolutely no smell at all. The service was also fantastic, and there was even complimentary mineral water available in the hallway. It was a very enjoyable trip. And a little personal note, the Chaoshan-style preserved fruit (gan cao shui guo) was surprisingly delicious, just wanted to throw that in, haha!
