"Best deal you can get ! Room had a strong 90s touch but was clean, very comfortable and in good condition. Perfect soundproof. Not a luxury hotel, but a very reliable place. Close to the Camino de Santiago and 15 minutes walk from Niemeyer Center. Plenty of bars and nice terraces closeby. Would happily recommend this hotel."

"We stayed here for our last four nights in Avilés, and if I'd known how good it was, I would have chosen it for the start. It was almost the same price as our first, less good hotel too. Huge beautiful bedroom and bathroom, cute view and small jacuzzi in the standard room. The location was perfect. Close to all the bars, city center and station. Nice bar to have drinks in. The staff was okay, totally okay, but not that interested, except for the guy handling breakfast; he felt really professional and made me feel very welcomed. Too bad there was too much noise to actually have breakfast though, rest of the staff were slammering dishes like there was no tomorrow. Maybe it was just a bad day though. We will come back every time, we were very satisfied."

"The hotel itself is in a very nice, central location, and the rooms are large and spacious. It also has beautiful gardens. On the other hand, the bathroom was quite outdated and not particularly comfortable. For a five-star hotel, I was surprised that the receptionist did not explain or provide information about the available services and facilities. In the morning, I also had to leave the key at reception because the receptionist was nowhere to be found."

"I was having a shower and then suddenly the water became scorching hot and burned me. I screamed and jumped out of the bath tub, but I burned my back and was in a lot of pain. No one else was in my room, no one turned on a cold tap or flushed the chain. It just happened as I stood under the shower. This shows bad plumbing and a lack of heat control. If an elderly person or a child had been in the shower, the outcome could have been even worse. This demonstrates that the hotel is in need of updating - it is tired, and with out of date facilities. However the location is good."
