"Already on our arrival we could feel that Hotel Anna is a family-owned hotel with a personal atmosphere. The chief herself welcomed us, showed us our room and asked us kindly to show up in the restaurant not later than 8 pm. All guests have a reserved table that is yours during your stay. The restaurant is closed for non-residents. We had not thought about half board during our one week stay, but the daily offers were so good that we chose to have all our dinners in the restaurant. No regrets. At the breakfast you´ll find the dinner menu-offers for the day and proposals for things to do in or around Badenweiler (see photo example). The modest wine list offers red wines from the neighbourhood. White wines are also available. Our room had everything that you expect of a four-star hotel and the balcony overlooking The Black Forest added value to our stay. Quiet location and sleep quality is perfect. Daily cleaning by staff that you´ll meet every day. One evening we were offered to, and accepted with a handful of other guests, to take a walk with the chief of the hotel to a viewpoint overlooking the Rhine valley and the sunset over the Vosges."

"The hotel is centrally located in Badenweiler in a quiet location. The reception was friendly, the room was nice, the bathroom had a large shower, and the bed was very comfortable. Parking is satisfactory; there are only a few spaces in front of the hotel, but alternative spaces are available. The breakfast was delicious with a good selection and friendly staff. The so-called spa area is a negative and disappointing feature. There are far too few loungers available for the number of rooms. The indoor pool and saunas are much too small, and additional alternative saunas are only available for an additional charge. The bar is okay but overpriced. Overall, the price/performance ratio is not good."

"Very pleasant stay"

"When we arrived at the hotel around 4 pm, the reception was empty. After waiting for 15 minutes, we decided to come back later. When we returned at around 7 pm, we were told that our Trip.com booking hadn’t been received, nor had the payment for it. Fortunately, the hotel still had rooms available and we were finally able to stay the night as planned. The room is large and comfortable. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast is standard but adequate (fresh and varied breads, butter, jam; processed meats and cheeses; unlimited coffee; muesli; fruit; yoghurt). The receptionist can’t do much about our problem as he doesn’t know how to use the hotel’s software and seems a bit at a loss with our case. We discover the next day that apparently this person is also in charge of housekeeping. The following morning, we have to pay for our room a second time, as the first payment wasn’t received. After a phone call with trip.com helpline, things seem to be sorting themselves out (trip.com will refund the booking and the price difference). It’s worth noting that we’ve been staying at this hotel for several years and have never had a problem of this sort before. Could this be linked to a change of ownership?"

"We were 2 nights in the hotel. The rooms were large and clean. The house itself was quiet. The breakfast buffet has very good (fresh fruit salad, various egg salads etc in glasses; so made by yourself); the 5-gang menu on the first night was simply good! The face treatment was very good; the massage as well! It is particularly great that the cultivated terrace is best protected from sun (if you want); there you can also enjoy the great, self-cake cake. It is not very cheap, but worth every cent. And on holiday you want to make something. The swimming pool was enough and clean. There is also a tea bar before the wellness area, where you can serve. I would like to check in again."

"Very good breakfast, some improvements could be made: more pastries, fresh water. Average half-board dinner. Charming staff, very attentive, always ready to help and provide information. Very good wellness area, just missing some fruit and drinks. Magnificent pool. The Junior Suite is very beautiful with a huge terrace. Good value for money. Charming electric car charging for hotel guests is a shame because for a 1000 euro stay, it would be a welcome gesture. With the hotel's considerable number of photovoltaic panels, I think charging costs nothing. Exceptionally, I was offered a free charge, and I thank the management. Practically all hotels in the Black Forest offer charging to their guests."

"i really enjoyed my stay.was upgraded to a lovely room with bigger balcony (only problem is am spoilt for another visit!)delicious breakfast.the hotel is elegant and attractive,nice pool but rather small.my only slight criticism ,which is of course rather subjective)is that i found the bed pillows too soft.my friends who i was visiting were jealous that they weren't staying there too!"

"Very nice house with great long. Breakfast buffet is very diverse and fresh does not leave any wishes open. For rest and doing something good for itself is perfect. Excellent ayurverdic massage."
