The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room had a very nice vintage feel to it (it smelt a bit musty when we walked in but, was easily refreshed with some air through the window). All in all I remember it a grand -and very relaxing property. We will certainly come back! As for what the other reviews mentioned: the dogs (yup the small one yelps in the evening, but he's so cute!), the meals (great breakfast, did not have dinner), the train (heard it, but didn't think it was a dealbreaker)"
