My downstairs room? Small. A little dim. Chosen for my sister’s convenience rather than my royal canine standards. But here’s the thing — when hospitality is this generous, the light comes from the people. I ate every meal at their café not out of laziness, but loyalty. Why brave the Arctic for repetitive food when home-style comfort is already waiting with a bowl and a smile? Youran lives up to its name: unforced, gentle, human. It felt less like a hotel and more like visiting relatives who keep refilling your bowl because you look “too thin.” This became the perfect launchpad for my Harbin expedition, three nights of settling in, warming up, and learning that charm travels better than luxury. Now, the honest bone (every good dog buries one): I’d give this a 4.1 stars if decimals existed. Since they don’t, here’s a conditional 5-star — contingent on tighter cleanliness under beds, chairs, and in the toilet. "I have to give this hotel a huge shout-out! From check-in to check-out, the service was incredibly thoughtful, and the staff were always ready to help. The biggest surprise was being able to do laundry, which is super practical for anyone on a longer road trip – it solved a major headache. Parking was also incredibly convenient; no need to hunt for a spot, you just park right downstairs, which is hassle-free and secure. The environment is really comfortable, clean, and tidy; the hygiene is impeccable, and the bedding feels fresh, making for a very pleasant stay. The owner is also incredibly warm and friendly, chatting with us like a friend and even proactively recommending great local spots. The whole experience was top-notch! It is very convenient to take a taxi. It costs 5 yuan to go anywhere. The price is the same for locals and foreigners. It is very practical. The service awareness needs to be improved. There is no flexibility or accommodation. Check out at 1 o'clock. Even if the plane leaves two hours later, they will not allow late check-out. Late check-out costs extra money. You need to pay extra for mineral water. When you ask for cleaning for the extension room, they only change the bath towels. When asked why the bed is not made and the floor is not mopped, they just make it and mop it casually. I have to refute a few words, not to mention wiping the table top, repairing slippers and pulling paper. Overall, for the above advantages, I will stay in this hotel when I go to Mohe in the future because the hardware conditions are good."

"I only saw the aurora because I booked this hotel! When I looked up from the bridge leading to the hotel, everything around me was a bit bright. At first, I thought it was light pollution, but then I noticed several taxi drivers getting out to film it. It wasn't until many locals came over to look and take pictures that we realized it was the aurora. If I had stayed at a different hotel, I probably wouldn't have seen it. The room was large, and the bathroom was nice. The wooden decorations looked a bit old-fashioned in photos, but they weren't at all. There was also a cat and a dog. The owner didn't actively solicit good reviews; this is entirely a subjective assessment."

"Extremely satisfied. Everything at the hotel was new and clean. Most importantly, the owner and her husband were incredibly kind. They picked us up and dropped us off whenever we wanted while we were wandering around the village; they were so patient! Also, the owner's cooking of Northeastern Chinese dishes was absolutely authentic and delicious. Don't ask me why there are no pictures; the eight of us ate like wolves, finishing every dish as soon as it was served. We couldn't wait to take photos! We had seven or eight dishes, and every single one was completely devoured. It probably changed the owner's perception of how much Southern potatoes can eat. Highly recommended! Everyone should stay here. The owner even helped us negotiate prices for many of the activities we did. It was truly amazing! Everyone is welcome to stay here!"

"The room was spacious and very clean. Since it's newly opened, all the facilities were new, including a smart toilet. The room faced the sun, with a small birch grove outside the window. There was a wooden boardwalk where you could stroll or sit and have tea. The boardwalk had outdoor tables and chairs, and hanging baskets. The breakfast selection was plentiful, especially the various mixed vegetables, which were quite delicious. If you're driving, there's a parking lot right outside, as well as a small vegetable garden with tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, and even mushrooms, a specialty of Northeast China. Overall, it was a very satisfying trip."

"We arrived late at the B&B and hadn't eaten yet, so the boss was very enthusiastic and helped us call every restaurant to save us from running around in vain. However, the boss told me that the details of the rooms at this price should be paid attention to. I stayed in two different room types for two days. One room type had four beds in one room. The curtains were short and could not be drawn tightly. The bed at the door faced the window on the terrace door and there were no curtains. The sun had already illuminated the entire room after four o'clock. . The damp musty smell in the bathroom is very strong, the toiletries are all in bags, and there are only two supplies for the four-person room."

"Beihong Village is truly the northernmost village in China. This guesthouse is clean, tidy, and well-equipped. The shampoo, shower gel, and conditioner are all common household brands. They provide both reusable and disposable slippers, as well as disposable bath towels. The food prices aren't cheap, but they're fair, considering how inconvenient transportation is to this area, which significantly increases the cost of ingredients brought in from outside. The dishes taste like home cooking – simple and delicious, not overly oily or salty like some restaurants. Oh, and the local beer is really good; definitely give it a try. The village itself is very neat, with straight, orderly streets, and it's very quiet. You can strike up a conversation with the villagers if you meet them! Finally, a word about the owner's family of three: their university-aged son is very handsome, the owner is a down-to-earth person who does the cooking, and the landlady is gentle, kind, and very welcoming. During dinner, they even brought us cucumbers from their own garden – a bit crooked, but green-hearted and very sweet! For breakfast, we had eggs, steamed buns, corn porridge, and pickled vegetables. After breakfast, as we were getting ready to leave, the owner and landlady stood at the door to bid farewell to each and every guest!"

"This guesthouse is located right inside the Arctic Village scenic area, so you can get great photos without even leaving the property. We originally planned to stay one night but extended our stay because we loved it so much. The housekeeper and staff were all incredibly kind. When it snowed heavily, the guesthouse's car picked us up from the airport. They didn't want us to walk far in the snow, so the driver pulled right up to the airport terminal entrance and then carried our luggage all the way to our room. The room was so warm, I was able to walk around barefoot in a t-shirt, sipping an iced coffee while watching the snow outside. The owner pays extreme attention to detail; the common areas with gym equipment, massage chairs, and tea facilities are truly excellent. And the crispy fried pork for breakfast? You can have unlimited refills, and it's absolutely delicious!"
