"I didn't expect such a great hotel in Mohe! It's very new, clean, and the service is excellent. This was our first time visiting Mohe, and we thought the hotel conditions would be pretty basic, but as soon as we stepped inside, we found it had a very modern design style."

"This booking was super, super, super, beyond all expectations! I'd call it the absolute best hotel in Mohe! The first floor has the guesthouse's own restaurant, and the food was unexpectedly delicious! We ate there for three days straight! We had planned to eat out, but the landlady's cooking was so good that we didn't want to go anywhere else! The room was clean, with 24-hour hot water – it's a water heater, but the water gets incredibly hot. The underfloor heating in the room was super warm, so much so that you might even need to wear a short-sleeved shirt! The owners are really lovely people! And they even gave us frozen persimmons and frozen pears! As a Chinese saying goes, 'Chinese people don't trick Chinese people!' This really is an amazing guesthouse!!! Plus, the location is super convenient, basically right in the center of Beiji Village, very close to all the attractions, just a few minutes' drive away. I'll share a few photos of the guesthouse's food – it was so good it made me want to spin around and crawl on the floor!"

"The facilities are newly renovated, and the proprietress has an exceptional sense of style. The decor is incredibly tasteful, and the bed is very comfortable. It's very clean, with disposable bath towels, regular towels, toothbrushes, and other amenities provided. The environment is very quiet, and the service is excellent and responsive to all requests."

The biggest surprise was being able to do laundry, which is super practical for anyone on a longer road trip – it solved a major headache. Parking was also incredibly convenient; no need to hunt for a spot, you just park right downstairs, which is hassle-free and secure. The environment is really comfortable, clean, and tidy; the hygiene is impeccable, and the bedding feels fresh, making for a very pleasant stay. The owner is also incredibly warm and friendly, chatting with us like a friend and even proactively recommending great local spots. The whole experience was top-notch! "For this trip to the Far North, I planned everything myself. I snagged train tickets for the Harbin-Mohe round trip 15 days in advance – if you can't get them, just wait on the standby list until they become available. When choosing accommodation, my eye was immediately drawn to this newly opened guesthouse. A little hesitant, I called the owner before booking. This 80s-born owner (referring to someone born in the 1980s) helped us arrange a chartered car and guide, and also gave us some crucial tips. He was so friendly that I immediately took his advice to skip staying in Beihong Village and booked three nights here instead. We were incredibly lucky; we got a notification on the 6th that the aurora's KP index would be 6-7 on the evening of the 9th. Even though it had snowed earlier, he told us to be on standby that night and then drove our group out to chase the aurora, stargaze, see the extreme cold light pillars, and even provided props for us to play with and take photos. The guesthouse is right by the river, and they offer free 'splashing water into ice' (don't waste 10 yuan paying others for this!). The owner even tells you the best times to go out and try it. I missed the first day's windless sunrise; after breakfast, I went upstairs, and it was already snowing [crying emoji]. I tried again today, but unfortunately, it was very windy, which reduced the effect. Regarding the chartered driver, it depends on how many people you have. If you want to save time and have a better experience, I recommend booking a private car. Find a local guide to handle all the pick-ups and drop-offs – it'll also save you money. In the extreme cold of minus 30 degrees, dragging luggage around everywhere felt like quite a test of courage."

"The place was spotlessly clean, and its location is excellent – very close to the shopping mall and Seven Star Square, which is also a hub for sightseeing buses. The interior decor is thoughtfully detailed and has a wonderful artistic flair; the entire place felt fresh and beautifully designed. They provide guests with a really handy sightseeing map – other tourists were even asking where I got mine! I accidentally misplaced it, and the front desk staff immediately gave me a new one. Our stay at this B&B was absolutely fantastic! Highly recommended! 🎉👍"

"I absolutely loved this log cabin. Located at the village entrance, the room was filled with the scent of pine. The high ceilings and North American-style furnishings, along with the clean and comfortable bed and bedding, made it a wonderful place to sleep. I slept soundly until dawn, enjoying the breathtaking scenery outside the window, especially the misty mountains and fields at dawn, which reminded me of Darcy and Elizabeth's first meeting in the fog. The owner was a shy, quiet young man, but the overall atmosphere was incredibly comfortable. If I have the chance to visit Beiji Village again, I will definitely stay here again."

"Came here during the National Day holiday, and stayed right in the heart of the scenic area. No crowds, no traffic jams, just vibrant autumn foliage, bare white birch trunks standing tall and straight amidst the woods, and a lake as calm as a mirror, reflecting picturesque scenery. It's a view you truly need to see with your own eyes, one that brings peace to your heart. Staying here, the moment you open your eyes, the moment you step out, you're living in a painting, and that painting stays with you. Needless to say, the rooms were clean and hygienic. We booked different room types for our two-day stay, and each offered a unique view. The wide, floor-to-ceiling windows in the loft were absolutely stunning – I could have stared out of them for ages. The service was incredibly warm, and the amenities were comprehensive. The staff were enthusiastically helpful without being overbearing, the chartered driver was reliable, and the travel itinerary was thoughtfully planned. We even tried an electric-assist family bike for the first time. Plus, there were thoughtful souvenirs, exquisite and delicious breakfasts, unexpectedly tasty snacks, and a concert in the evening... Isn't this exactly what a vacation should be like?"

The mattress was the perfect firmness, providing a fantastic and quiet sleep experience. The vanity was spacious, and the provided classic soap was gentle and pleasant, instantly bringing back childhood memories. The service was impeccable; the staff were always there when needed, helping with my luggage, recommending local eateries, and even extending my check-out time. Excellent value for money, and they understand hospitality better than many newer hotels!"

"The accommodation is conveniently located next to Songyuan. Parking is easy for those driving, and you can contact the owner for a train station pick-up. The owner and his wife are straightforward, forthright, and welcoming. You can hang laundry outside on the dam. Because it rained and I didn't return in time, the owner's wife took the initiative to collect the laundry. Since Mohe's attractions are scattered, you can hire the owner's car for a tour without having to stay overnight in Beiji Village. (In my opinion, there's a 68 yuan entrance fee and a 30 yuan bus ride, though the service is excellent. Beihong Village is more pristine.) Driving into the Greater Khingan Forest is more enjoyable. Be sure to bring plenty of power banks when you're in the Greater Khingan Forest, as the signal in the forest is very poor, with no internet or telecom coverage."
