Munich Hotels with Balcony

"The hotel is brand new and fantastic. There's a bus stop right outside, and taxis are easily available; it's about 15 euros to Marienplatz, so getting around is very convenient. The minibar is refilled daily, and the breakfast is rich and varied. They have an underground parking garage, and you need a key card to use the elevator, which feels very secure. The rooms aren't huge, but the bathroom is very functional, and the bed, by European standards, is quite large and comfortable. There's a Vietnamese pho place and a sushi restaurant nearby, which I definitely recommend!"

"The location is away from the main city, however there's an U-Bahn station nearby that connects to the city center and the main train station directly, so it's not too bad. Rooms are decent and clean with all the basic amenities. The breakfast spread is quite good and there's also options for buying snacks near the reception."

"The hotel's overall hardware facilities are quite good. It's an apartment-style hotel, perfect for cooking your own meals, and each floor has different themed activity areas. I happened to check in during Oktoberfest, and they offered a complimentary beer, which I didn't drink because I was in a hurry to meet friends for dinner. BUT! And remember this BUT! 1. I think it's a ridiculous clause that they charge you a week in advance and then you can't cancel. Why can't I cancel a week beforehand? It's just incomprehensible. 2. Room 430 needs some serious repairs. First, the exhaust fan above the kitchen kept making a constant noise. Then, the door itself started making a wind-like sound. I went to the front desk every day to report it. On the first night, they told me to take out the key card and it would stop. And yes, it stopped, but am I supposed to not turn on the lights? Not charge my devices? On the second day, a technician came and fixed the kitchen exhaust fan; it stopped making noise when the kitchen light was off. However, the room door continued to make that wind-like noise intermittently. And the kitchen fridge sounded like a tractor – so noisy! I'm someone who absolutely hates noise, and hotels in Europe are generally quite quiet. This is truly the first time I've encountered a hotel room where everything makes a noise. Of course, I want to commend Trip.com here. After I complained, they negotiated with the hotel, and the hotel offered a complimentary day's breakfast (the breakfast was just okay, but a plus was the Munich white sausage). Trip.com also handled my request very professionally. However, this hotel is truly a mixed bag. I stayed for 7 days, and on the second to last day, the fire alarm went off. It was already very cold in Munich at that time, and we had to wait outside for about half an hour before we could go back in. They really need to check their equipment! On the plus side, there's a REWE supermarket and a ROSSMANN downstairs, and the S5 and U5 lines are right next door, which is quite convenient."

"It is a neat residential apartment type, you can cook in the room and do laundry in the basement. It is not very big, but it is efficient and it is a great place for travelers to stay. I really like the large windows :)"

"The location is close to a subway station, but traveling with large luggage can be bulky. We stayed in Munich for a few days, and the breakfast was amazing.It cost 21 euro per pax. The most memorable part was the view—Munich was snowing, and I found a few beautiful spots in the hotel garden. The only downside was that the toilet was not clean enough. Other than that, everything was perfect, though the hotel is slightly far from the city center."

"Nice boutique hotel. Located 10mins walk to Hackerbrucke station. A lot of shops/supermarkets (Aldi, Lidl, Edeka) nearby the hotel. Friendly staff. According to staff, all bedrooms have different theme, and mine was ”rock star” theme. Bedroom - comfortable and clean. Breakfast - simple, but was very good and healthy. Highly recommended."

"I had the suite room. Comes stocked with one time juice, beer, and soda. Every day you get water and coffee replenished. Sofa bed was comfy as was the double bed. Balcony was relaxing. Ask for a change of towels or room cleaning preferably the night before or when you leave in the morning on your excursion so that your room will be how you want ot when you return to it."

"We stayed in a four-person room with two bedrooms. The two children slept on a sofa bed in the foyer. It had air conditioning (very important), a refrigerator, and an induction cooker, and it also had two bathrooms. Breakfast was also provided, which was very good."

"A great value hotel! The service was average, but after one night, we discovered the refrigerator in our room wasn't working, so the staff offered to move us. There was plenty of space, including a sofa bed, so even with a child, it wasn't cramped. The hotel is conveniently connected to the central train station by the S-Bahn, and the room rates are much cheaper than those near the central train station. The S1 line is a 5-10 minute walk away, connecting you directly to the airport without changing trains. The room was a bit stained, but housekeeping cleared the trash and vacuumed every day, so the cleanliness was generally good."
