Venice Hotels with balcony

"The location is quite convenient, about a 10-15 minute walk to the train station, and there are bus stops nearby. There's no kettle, and all drinks in the mini-fridge, including a 500ml bottle of mineral water, cost 1.5 euros. The tray only has two glass cups, with no free coffee or tea for brewing. Even though I never use them, their absence makes the hotel seem cheap. The only saving grace was that the restaurant staff downstairs were very nice and willing to fill my thermos with hot water. There was only toilet paper, no facial tissues. This is the stingiest four-star hotel I've ever stayed in. I had already paid the full room rate, but upon check-in, they insisted on scanning my passport and credit card together for their records. Luckily, I had covered my security code beforehand. I don't understand why this rundown place needed to keep a credit card on file, probably for those overpriced drinks in the fridge? I'd been traveling for ten days, and all other hotels only required an additional city tax payment. This old-fashioned place was the only one that insisted on a credit card deposit."

"St. Mark's Square is just across the bridge! The booking description said it had one double bed and one sofa bed, but it's actually a suite with two double beds and four people, which exceeded my expectations! The shower room is a bit narrow; you might accidentally bump your arm (I'm a medium-sized person). If you like to drink water in the room, bring your own kettle; the capsule coffee in the room is quite good! You can adjust the air conditioning temperature yourself in 10 minutes (my family members are very efficient). Breakfast is a standard white meal; it might be a bit slow on Sunday due to the crowds, but it's much better on Monday."

"We arrived at the hotel on January 12th at 10:30 PM. The room was absolutely amazing and split over two levels. On the ground floor there was a bathroom and a separate shower. Everything was very beautiful, clean, and in perfect working condition. The shower did not leak at all, and there were no unpleasant smells. On the upper floor there was a bedroom with a large bed and an additional sofa. The room was equipped with a large Smart TV, a spacious wardrobe, a safe, and a hairdryer. We were also provided with two 0.5 L bottles of water. There was both a heater and air conditioning, and everything worked perfectly, so it was not cold at all. The location is excellent. It may look a bit confusing on the map at first, but we figured it out quickly. When you see the shop “Ca’ Macana Atelier”, turn immediately to the right. You will see an old public telephone, and between the buildings there is the hotel entrance (the hotel name is written on the door). All access codes worked without any problems. The interior of the hotel is very beautiful. The owner is a very kind and welcoming lady truly wonderful. She speaks English and cleans the rooms daily. If you prefer not to have your room cleaned, you can simply inform her or hang the sign on the door. The tourist tax is €3 per person per day. We absolutely loved everything. Out of all the places we have stayed in (priced between €20 and €60 per night), this hotel and room are without a doubt our number one favorite. Thank you so much. If we ever return to Venice, we will definitely stay here again. ❤️"

"Absolutely fantastic! The location is superb, less than 100 meters from Mestre train station – practically just across the street. The owner is incredibly warm and provides excellent service. I even left my earbuds behind when checking out, and the owner remembered and kept them for me 🥲. The facilities are all new, they even provide disposable slippers and bottled water, and it's genuinely spotless. I've always stayed in hotels run by Europeans before, and there's always some 'unpleasant surprise' – either mysterious hair or unidentifiable stains. I'm really touched by how clean this place is; you really can't beat a guesthouse run by fellow Chinese!"

"Perfect cheap clean hotel for my early flight, multiple bus lines 15 mins from VCE airport. Air con works perfect in summer. Everything is very basic, nothing fancy, but they keep the room look and smell very clean which is a big plus. Small bed small room small shower closet. Paid a few euro for breakfast and got a few euro worth of breakfast which is not bad. Recommend if you just need a clean room and don't need anything fancy."

"This hotel is great! I saw a lot of Chinese guests staying here. The room was clean and tidy, and the restaurant staff were very friendly during the two breakfasts I had. The hotel is located right by the highway, with a bus stop outside that goes directly to Venice's main island and the airport/train station. It's perfect for travelers who need to catch a flight the next day or are just arriving in Venice and want to rest for a night. The only downside is that the cleaning staff were very loud in the mornings while cleaning the rooms and in the hallway. I was woken up at the same time both days, which was a bit annoying."

"We booked a suite and it was great. The balcony had a direct view of the canal, there were comfortable places to sit, and the building felt authentic with older furniture. The only thing to keep in mind is that it’s located on a wide canal where boats pass at night, so it can be quite noisy if the window is open"

"Hotel is a boat ride away from mainland Venice. The hotel helped us process a refund for an extra night charged. Trip.com actually booked the hotel from ******* as a third party so to get the refund I had to jump several hoops with Trip and the hotel. Not pleasant but sorted out in the end."
