"A nice hotel that’s really close to the beach at the back of the place. Unfortunately we didn’t have good experiences with the food or the service. For example at breakfast they served shrimp fried rice with the poop sack still attached and a lot of flies were around the fruit in the mornings. Also the day before we were due to leave I had one of the house keeping staff drop an iron off at my room. Without hearing an answer came into my room and opened the bathroom door where I was showering. I had music on at the time so I’ve no idea happened and I asked her to leave immediately. I went to the door a minute later to get the iron and she also left a set of keys with me- no idea why or why yay they were for but she appeared 2 hours later asking for them so I hope they weren’t for the surrounding rooms! The view from the pool at the back and the fruit shakes were really good but I wouldn’t stay here again"

"The facility was great and it was beautiful and it did offer a number of amenities but I will be honest the service wasn’t the greatest. I felt as if as a paying customer I was constantly being treated like I was a burden for asking for things like “extending my say” I don’t want to generalize and say it was all the workers there was a man named “Chan” who had a very passive aggressive attitude with me and other people there. I understand that it’s a 5 star resort and it is on the pricier side but it constantly felt like they were also trying to capitalize on the necessities you’ll need because it is on an isolated island. (Word of advice go to the local village for things like pharmacy needs, cosmetic and booking boats and excursions it’s 10 times cheaper.) At the resort they will do things like charge nearly 30$ for a bottle of sunscreen at the gift shop because they know you’ll need it. Going back to this I tried to extend my stay with them and Chan told me I was going to have to pay double the original price if I wanted to stay another night I quickly went online and saw that it was half the price that he quoted and just immediately felt quite put off and like he was doing whatever possible to milk us financially when we are already being generous and willing customers. I was in a group of four people and everyone in my group had stomach issues after eating at the breakfast buffet so that was a problem as well. We were also not told that on the resort is a mosque and you will be woken up to the call of prayer frequently. I have no problem with people exercising there religious traditions I would just like a forewarning about being woken at 5AM to hear the it."

"Pros: The hotel's location is excellent, just a few hundred meters from Ton Sai Pier. Dining options and convenience stores nearby are plentiful. You can directly access the beach from right outside the check-in area. The staff were very friendly and provided great service; they even helped carry our luggage to the room after check-in. The hotel also has a swimming pool, so if you don't feel like going to the beach, you can relax and sunbathe by the pool. Cons: The room itself is a bit dated. The air conditioning is a wall-mounted unit, not central air, so it takes a long time to cool down. The bathroom has no window, so there was a noticeable odor as soon as you entered. Also, the water pressure for the shower was a bit unstable. Even though it's fresh water, it had a slightly salty taste. I'd recommend bringing your own shower head and faucet filter."

"I recently stayed at The Hotel and it was a delightful experience! The staff were incredibly welcoming and efficient. My room was spacious, spotless, and offered a stunning city view. The bed was super comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The dining options were excellent, with delicious meals and attentive service. Highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay!"

"This was a wonderful place to stay. Amazing views and friendly staff. Great breakfast buffet (if you get the choice, it's worth signing up for it). Cats roaming the property and island; great if you're a cat lover like me- if not, no worries, they pretty much leave you alone unless you seek their attention. The only drawback I have is that no matter how many people stay in the room, you get only one key. This is because the key is inserted into a ”socket: that powers the air and lights. Conservation is important for resources on the island. They will, however, let your other roomies in any time, day or night, by stopping by the front desk. If you're not used to it, be aware that Thai beds in general are very firm. Not much padding."

"This resort is beautiful. It is on the side of the island and about 15 minutes walk from the centre. They have somebody that takes your bags to the hotel, that is very confenient. Rooms are very big with aircon. They have a pool that can be used and chairs next to the ocean. Breakfast was very nice. They only thing missing for us, was a good bar. But for the rest it was very nice."

"The hotel location is absolutely amazing, Breathtaking views, quiet, relaxing, Natural, access to snorkelling. The food they had in the hotel: some of it was really really good, and some of it was not so good. The only weakness is the fact that the logistics to get there by boat are quite complicated ~ I found a single fast boat provider which can directly access the resort but they only have one boat a day all the rest require you to stop and switch companies in the middle. Once i found out which food in the resort was better i ordered that more frequently. If you wait for low tide you can walk along the beach to get to the village and avoid the other resort but during high tide that's impossible. A staff were very good and provided access to snorkeling equipment were happy to help you drive up the steep mountain and even helped with luggage whenever needed (We always walked down, but the walk back up was hard, and were happy for their service). 酒店地理位置绝对令人惊叹，景色令人叹为观止，安静、放松、自然，可以浮潜。他们在酒店吃的食物：有些真的很好，有些不太好。唯一的弱点是，乘船到达那里的物流非常复杂~我找到了一家快速船供应商，可以直接进入度假村，但他们每天只有一艘船，其余的都需要你在在中间停下来换公司。一旦我发现度假胜地的哪些食物更好，我就更频繁地点。如果你等待退潮，你可以沿着海滩走到村庄，避开其他度假胜地，但在涨潮时这是不可能的。工作人员非常好，提供浮潜设备。他们很乐意帮助你开车上山，甚至在需要的时候帮忙拿行李（我们总是走下去，但走回去很难，我们很高兴他们的服务）。"

"On the 25th, I was checking out at 10:30 AM. I had trouble understanding the English spoken by one of the two receptionists, an older woman who seemed to be in a higher position. She then looked me up and down, shook her head, and said something in Thai to her colleague, mentioning 'Japanese' and some other words. I do resemble a Japanese person. Although I didn't understand the exact words, it felt like she was being dismissive and insulting me because I couldn't understand her English. This ****** encounter with the older receptionist on the last day of my vacation has left a bad taste in my mouth, and even a day later, I'm still upset. Not everyone in the world speaks fluent English, and not speaking English doesn't give you the right to disrespect me. Conversely, imagine if you were on vacation in another country, spending your precious time and money, and were disrespected because of your accent or pronunciation. Would your vacation still be enjoyable? If you're not fluent in English, I definitely do not recommend this place. There are plenty of other accommodations available."

"The hotel’s brochure pictures look great, but they don’t convey the unpleasant reality of the first-floor rooms. There was a strong moldy odor, and when we checked other rooms on the same floor with the hotel staff, all of them had the same smell. Only when we tried a room on the upper floor was the air fresh. The new room was at a lower rate, but the hotel only agreed to a partial refund, claiming we weren’t entitled to a full one due to their cancellation policy 🤨. This was very frustrating, as our request to change rooms was due to poor conditions, not by choice for any other reason."

You need to go outside to reach the reception, restaurant, or bathroom from your room. They have done a fantastic job of combining luxury with a natural, jungle-like setting—something I've never seen before. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast is really good. If you're looking for a more exotic nature experience, this place is ideal. However, if you prefer a more standard/business stay, it might not be the best option."
