Seaview Hotels in Phi Phi Islands

"I'd stayed in Phi Phi North before, but this time I chose Koh Phi Phi Don. The resort is super easy to get to, just a 3-minute walk to the left from the pier. It's a massive resort, and the two cats at the front desk were so gentle and cute! From the comfort of your bed, you're treated to an unbeatable ocean view! Breakfast was incredibly varied and even included plain congee. The pool offers stunning views of Long Beach. It's easy to book longtail boat tours for island hopping right outside the resort. The main street has self-service laundry facilities and a plethora of dining options, plus the 7-Eleven here surprisingly boasts a wider variety of items than those in Bangkok! You can also go scuba diving, and even seniors in their 70s can hike up to Viewpoint 2 for breathtaking panoramic views!"

"Upon arrival, things got off to a bit of a rough start. Room 210, while advertised with a sea view, had a very limited one, which wasn't a huge deal. The most unpleasant part was the leaky pipe by the toilet. My request to switch rooms with the front desk wasn't successful. After adjusting my mindset and accepting it, it was fine—the water was clean anyway, and I was there to relax, so no need to dwell on it. However, I do recommend the hotel renovates soon, otherwise, it's a waste of such a beautiful location. Summary: 1. The facilities are indeed old. The exterior looks okay, but the interior is too basic. Friends accustomed to five-star hotels might find it hard to adapt. I had to comfort my child and convince myself, but once I accepted it, it was fine. 2. If you want a true, unobstructed sea view room, be sure to communicate with the hotel beforehand. Only rooms starting with '1' will do. The higher the room number, the higher up the hill it is, so be prepared for a cardio workout every time you head back to your room. 3. The service was generally good. I didn't feel any prejudice or mistreatment towards Chinese guests. The porters who helped with luggage were the best. 4. Cat lovers will overlook all the negatives and fall in love with this place, just like my son. He initially complained about everything, but after bribing many cats with cat food to hang out on our balcony, he was very sad to leave."

"I stayed for 6 nights and experienced three different room types. I stayed twice in a partial sea view villa, which I think might be the most suitable room type at the resort. The layout is quite reasonable, the facilities have been maintained, and there was little to no odor in the restroom. The location is elevated, offering absolutely stunning views. The beach is very clean, and the seawater is crystal clear. It’s a great place to quietly relax and unwind. The overall environment is lovely, situated at the southernmost tip of Long Beach. It's mostly hotel guests, with few outside visitors, making it much quieter compared to Koh Phi Phi. The front desk service was excellent; you can request a car anytime, and they are quite efficient. The restaurant supervisor, Jingdan, speaks Chinese. He is very humble, warm, and helpful. I asked him to help me find a cardboard box for packing, and he patiently assisted until he found a suitable one. When I couldn't find some items, he also enthusiastically helped me search, which was very heartwarming. There's also another beach behind the mountain with very few tourists; it's worth checking out. Drawbacks: Transportation to go out is inconvenient. To leave, you need to take a small boat, which costs 100 baht per person one way during the day and 150 baht at night. Considering this, I ended up eating all my meals at the hotel restaurant. The food tasted good, and I enjoyed it. The rooms are built along the mountain, and the slope is quite steep. Walking up and down can be difficult, so for the elderly or those with mobility issues, this place might not be the best choice. Although the hotel offers shuttle service, it still felt inconvenient."

"We stayed in a Deluxe Sea View Room for 2 nights. The location is excellent — very close to the pier, which makes arrival and departure very easy. Our room (105) was also close to the elevators, so it felt even closer to the pier than many of the other rooms. The room was very clean, and the size was decent. The balcony view overlooks Tonsai Beach, which is always nice to wake up to. Because the hotel is so close to the pier, you can hear and see people down there during the day. However, once the balcony door is closed most of the noise disappears, and we had no problem falling asleep. Facilities were all working well: • Elevator was great • Air conditioning worked properly • Wi-Fi was fine • Shower was good We didn’t use the TV. The staff were friendly and all spoke English, which made things easy. They do ask for a deposit at check-in, but that seems to be standard practice. There is breakfast available through the restaurant downstairs. Personally I didn’t enjoy it much, but if you’ve been traveling around Thailand for a while it will probably be fine. Overall, this is a very convenient and comfortable place to stay on Phi Phi, especially if you want to be right next to the pier."

"The room was super spacious, about 40 square meters, and the bathroom was also large, over 10 square meters. There were two balconies on each side, each nearly 10 square meters, offering spectacular sunrise and sunset views and the entire magnificent sea view. The mountain scenery was delightful. The cleanliness was excellent, and they even provided disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, and razors, which is rare in Thailand. The stay was fantastic. The front desk lady was also very helpful, fluent in English, and spoke a little Chinese. We weren't charged extra for our child. I'm sure she'll be able to provide full Chinese service next time! We'll most likely choose this place again when we visit Koh Phi Phi. The kids' playground wasn't fully open, but the big slide looked great."

"We had a small familiy reunion, and stayed at The Cove for 4 nights. We enjoyed it. The beach is lovely and right there. You can swim and snorkel any time of the day. The cabins are cute and have a small kettle and fridge. They have good food which is not too expensive and their service is alright, they changed our room with no issues and fixed things when we had issues. They have boat trips which we enjoyed that leave from the resort. There is a hike from the resort to the main pier and has amazing views, but it is toughz Overall we all had a wonderful stay and would recommend it for a relaxing getaway with no rush."

"We had the best time in this hotel. We will come back! My son has severe nut allergy and thanks to all the staff who was always careful with his food in the kitchen we enjoyed our holidays. Great food by the way!"

"This was a wonderful place to stay. Amazing views and friendly staff. Great breakfast buffet (if you get the choice, it's worth signing up for it). Cats roaming the property and island; great if you're a cat lover like me- if not, no worries, they pretty much leave you alone unless you seek their attention. The only drawback I have is that no matter how many people stay in the room, you get only one key. This is because the key is inserted into a ”socket: that powers the air and lights. Conservation is important for resources on the island. They will, however, let your other roomies in any time, day or night, by stopping by the front desk. If you're not used to it, be aware that Thai beds in general are very firm. Not much padding."

"Let’s start for the good … the hotel view is astonishing, just few minutes from the phiphi view point so if you are a sunset lover this is the pace . Now… the down sides , the appliances in the hotel aren’t in the best shape, this place needs renovation, we had to change our room at least the could solve that , the stairs to arrive to the hotel are really up , so I think this is not a hotel for families with babies or elders , those stairs might be really hard"

The hotel is perfectly located on the island—just a short walk from the pier and surrounded by great restaurants, which made exploring Phi Phi both easy and enjoyable. Our room offered a beautiful garden view, and being near the pool added to the relaxing atmosphere. The rooms themselves were spacious, comfortable, and kept spotlessly clean, which made our stay even more pleasant. Everything felt well maintained and thoughtfully arranged. Overall, this hotel provided the perfect balance of convenience and tranquility.
