Seaview Hotels in Phi Phi Islands

"A nice hotel that’s really close to the beach at the back of the place. Unfortunately we didn’t have good experiences with the food or the service. For example at breakfast they served shrimp fried rice with the poop sack still attached and a lot of flies were around the fruit in the mornings. Also the day before we were due to leave I had one of the house keeping staff drop an iron off at my room. Without hearing an answer came into my room and opened the bathroom door where I was showering. I had music on at the time so I’ve no idea happened and I asked her to leave immediately. I went to the door a minute later to get the iron and she also left a set of keys with me- no idea why or why yay they were for but she appeared 2 hours later asking for them so I hope they weren’t for the surrounding rooms! The view from the pool at the back and the fruit shakes were really good but I wouldn’t stay here again"

"This is our 3rd time at the resort in recent years and it remains in our opinion the best higher end resort on the island.   It’s tucked away right in the corner of the main beach which means there is no passing traffic and a lot less day trippers about.   The rooms are lovely bamboo bungalow with en suite shower and although not very big there is plenty of space for what you need.  The beds are large and comfortable and the air con works well.   The whole setting is beautiful with the bungalows along sandy paths and surrounded by gardens and trees.   The resort has an amazing huge pool and more than enough sun loungers.  Breakfast is superb with lots of choice and it’s very fresh.  The bakery section in particular is excellent.  The only negative - and this is not at all the fault of the resort - is the noise at night from the parties at the other end of the beach.  Despite being a really long way away the noise travels across the bay / beach and it goes on until about 3:30am.   They provide you with ear plugs but we always take our own better ones with us which are more sound resistant.  Soundbloc putty earbuds if anyone is interested!  With these in you hear nothing and the resort is absolutely perfect.   We will be back i am sure"

"Very good hotel. Cleanliness and tidiness everywhere. It's a bit far from the noisy party spots, but you can walk along the beach in about 25 minutes. You can also take a boat for 100 Baht, but if you stay late, you'll have to walk back. We walked there and back without any issues. The hotel's beach is beautiful, and there's another beach nearby; you can get there via a trail from the hotel or swim from the hotel beach. We received a free upgrade to the most expensive room with an amazing view, which was just super. I highly recommend this hotel."

"Upon arrival, things got off to a bit of a rough start. Room 210, while advertised with a sea view, had a very limited one, which wasn't a huge deal. The most unpleasant part was the leaky pipe by the toilet. My request to switch rooms with the front desk wasn't successful. After adjusting my mindset and accepting it, it was fine—the water was clean anyway, and I was there to relax, so no need to dwell on it. However, I do recommend the hotel renovates soon, otherwise, it's a waste of such a beautiful location. Summary: 1. The facilities are indeed old. The exterior looks okay, but the interior is too basic. Friends accustomed to five-star hotels might find it hard to adapt. I had to comfort my child and convince myself, but once I accepted it, it was fine. 2. If you want a true, unobstructed sea view room, be sure to communicate with the hotel beforehand. Only rooms starting with '1' will do. The higher the room number, the higher up the hill it is, so be prepared for a cardio workout every time you head back to your room. 3. The service was generally good. I didn't feel any prejudice or mistreatment towards Chinese guests. The porters who helped with luggage were the best. 4. Cat lovers will overlook all the negatives and fall in love with this place, just like my son. He initially complained about everything, but after bribing many cats with cat food to hang out on our balcony, he was very sad to leave."

"This was the most satisfying stay during my trip to Thailand. The island is so peaceful, and the hotel's private beach was perfect for the kids. The hotel food was delicious, everything was great. The staff were also very friendly. Five-star recommendation!"

"Pros: The hotel's location is excellent, just a few hundred meters from Ton Sai Pier. Dining options and convenience stores nearby are plentiful. You can directly access the beach from right outside the check-in area. The staff were very friendly and provided great service; they even helped carry our luggage to the room after check-in. The hotel also has a swimming pool, so if you don't feel like going to the beach, you can relax and sunbathe by the pool. Cons: The room itself is a bit dated. The air conditioning is a wall-mounted unit, not central air, so it takes a long time to cool down. The bathroom has no window, so there was a noticeable odor as soon as you entered. Also, the water pressure for the shower was a bit unstable. Even though it's fresh water, it had a slightly salty taste. I'd recommend bringing your own shower head and faucet filter."

"This was a wonderful place to stay. Amazing views and friendly staff. Great breakfast buffet (if you get the choice, it's worth signing up for it). Cats roaming the property and island; great if you're a cat lover like me- if not, no worries, they pretty much leave you alone unless you seek their attention. The only drawback I have is that no matter how many people stay in the room, you get only one key. This is because the key is inserted into a ”socket: that powers the air and lights. Conservation is important for resources on the island. They will, however, let your other roomies in any time, day or night, by stopping by the front desk. If you're not used to it, be aware that Thai beds in general are very firm. Not much padding."

"Let’s start for the good … the hotel view is astonishing, just few minutes from the phiphi view point so if you are a sunset lover this is the pace . Now… the down sides , the appliances in the hotel aren’t in the best shape, this place needs renovation, we had to change our room at least the could solve that , the stairs to arrive to the hotel are really up , so I think this is not a hotel for families with babies or elders , those stairs might be really hard"

"We stayed in a Deluxe Sea View Room for 2 nights. The location is excellent — very close to the pier, which makes arrival and departure very easy. Our room (105) was also close to the elevators, so it felt even closer to the pier than many of the other rooms. The room was very clean, and the size was decent. The balcony view overlooks Tonsai Beach, which is always nice to wake up to. Because the hotel is so close to the pier, you can hear and see people down there during the day. However, once the balcony door is closed most of the noise disappears, and we had no problem falling asleep. Facilities were all working well: • Elevator was great • Air conditioning worked properly • Wi-Fi was fine • Shower was good We didn’t use the TV. The staff were friendly and all spoke English, which made things easy. They do ask for a deposit at check-in, but that seems to be standard practice. There is breakfast available through the restaurant downstairs. Personally I didn’t enjoy it much, but if you’ve been traveling around Thailand for a while it will probably be fine. Overall, this is a very convenient and comfortable place to stay on Phi Phi, especially if you want to be right next to the pier."

"My wife and I booked Phi Phi the beach resort for four days but wished we had booked it for much longer it was the perfect vacation spot we didn’t want to leave, we tried to extend our stay but unfortunately they were fully booked and couldn’t accommodate us, everything was perfect, the view from our cabin was amazing, breakfast was great and dinner was delicious , the beach was lovely and the ocean was crystal clear, the reception was very pleasant and helpful and the waiters and waitresses were friendly and courteous. We highly recommend this resort and differently will be visiting again, thanks for an amazing experience Phi Phi the beach resort."
