Kangding Hotels with Bars

"When traveling to Sichuan, Kangding is a must-visit place. Liuliu City is really beautiful. I chose the Ibis Hotel. The room is very clean. The breakfast is also delicious. The front desk lady is very enthusiastic and told me where there are delicious food and fun things to do. It is very convenient to take a taxi or take the bus when going out."

"The hotel enjoys a prime location in Kangding's core business district, facing Paomashan Mountain and overlooking the Zheduo River and Liuliucheng. On clear days, you can enjoy mountain views from both sides of the room. I highly recommend the window in the breakfast hallway on the fourth floor, which overlooks the golden roof of Anjue Temple. The Qingke ******* Restaurant and Bar, like Li Xian, is just across the street. The hotel facilities are relatively new, though the tap water is yellowish when it first comes out, but everything else is good. The front desk lady, Xiao Du, was warm and attentive, recommending nearby restaurants. We had Tian Liangfen, which was delicious, with a nice spicy chili pepper. We arrived too late to try the Kangjie Steamed Dumplings restaurant, a time-honored restaurant. We also checked out the restaurant and bar, like Li Xian, and the yak beef quilt was delicious [grin]. The seasoning of the beef cubes wasn't particularly impressive, and the desserts were just tasteful. The stir-fried vegetables were good, and the location was great for people-watching."

"Very new property, everything is clean and well supplied. They have a great coffee set-up.The staff is young and eager to please, they were the high point of my two-night stay. The location can be a bit of an issue. The property sits on a hillside above the main center of the town. Cars have trouble navigating the narrow, one-car-at-a-time streets. And sitting at 2000 meters altitude, you'll be stopping to catch your breath more than once. Grab the hotel's card and use taxis to do your sightseeing. Good value and would recommend."

"We had an excellent stay here. The host and staff are super kind and caring. My partner was suffering from the altitude when we arrived and they immediately set us up with an oxygen concentrator. He felt better almost immediately. We are thankful they had one! They kept checking in on our health throughout our entire stay. We had a beautiful big room on the fourth floor with views of Mt. Yala and life around the river. Loved the in floor heating. Even if you don't get a room on the 4th floor, there is a sitting area up with the view. The hotel is close to the main street, 10 minute walk to Tagong Monastery, 20 minute walk to the study monastery and 5 minute walk to the trail which leads up over the grasslands to Ani Gompa and Muya Dasi. We can't thank the host and staff enough - they made a delicious hotpot on our first night, looked after us everyday and found us a ride onto Danba. They and we managed the English translation apps enough that we could work through the language barrier. Thank you!"

"Service: After booking the room, a dedicated butler contacted us with the detailed address and directions, and guided us to the hotel via the Baitukan Tunnel. The hotel also has a dedicated parking lot. The hotel offers laundry service, which is very convenient. The owner was very patient and helpful when we asked about nearby restaurants and attractions. The hotel's fruit platter and breakfast were also very generous. Environment: As soon as I entered the room and opened the curtains, I was completely captivated by the stunning mountain view. It's about a ten-minute walk to the center of Kangding County, and I saw a plethora of beautiful roses along the way. Cleanliness: The room was very clean and tidy, and the bathroom had double sinks and a heated towel rack, which was a nice touch. Facilities: The hotel's restaurant offers a great view, and dining there was a delightful experience. The fourth-floor balcony was also very comfortable, and downstairs there were also billiards, mahjong machines, and other entertainment facilities. P.S. I'm not a shill, just a happy newbie who finally made it to my western Sichuan trip. Thank you Kangding and this fantastic hotel for making it a perfect start to my trip."

"This chain hotel is reliable and offers warm and attentive service. It's a frequent choice for my travels. Located next to National Highway 318, parking is relatively convenient. The breakfast is plentiful, including freshly ground coffee. The rooms have diffused oxygen supply, ensuring a good night's sleep. There's a KFC downstairs, a good alternative for travelers who have been enjoying spicy Sichuan food for days on end, especially those exploring western or ******* areas."

"The most upscale hotel in Xinduqiao, with only 19 rooms. I booked a loft room, and it presented a clear mix of pros and cons. Here's a brief rundown of my experience: **Pros:** 1. Both the exterior and interior boast an impressive design. Situated by a stream, it offers unparalleled, highly photogenic views, which is arguably its main selling point. 2. Located at an altitude of over 3500 meters, the hotel provides diffused oxygen systems in its rooms to help alleviate altitude sickness. 3. The concierge service was warm and attentive; someone proactively greeted us and helped with luggage upon our arrival. 4. The restaurant offers creative dishes at reasonable prices, and the breakfast spread is plentiful. **Cons:** 1. No bathrobes were provided in the room (which is typically a standard amenity for hotels of this caliber). 2. Restaurant service was a bit inconsistent. Despite being a 'no-smoking' establishment, it wasn't enforced, and there were no designated smoking/non-smoking areas. At breakfast, we even noticed cigarette butts and empty packs from the previous day still scattered on the floor. 3. Trash outside the windows wasn't cleared promptly. I truly hope the hotel continues to enhance both its facilities and services."

"There were three of us traveling, and the hotel thoughtfully upgraded us to a family room and gave us an extra breakfast, which was great. The hotel is new, the rooms are big, the service is good, and the price/performance ratio is high. I will definitely choose this hotel next time I go to Kangding."

"Lagang Ranch boasts the best location on the Tagong Grassland, nestled at the foot of the Yala Snow Mountain. Surrounding it are Muya Monastery, a small Seda, Jiagunong, Gunong Village, Balangshengdu, a small Xinjiang, Yuzixi, Gediram, Moshi Park, and the clouds surrounding Yala. The scenery is breathtaking, with snow-capped mountains and meadows juxtaposed like a painting. From your room, all the beauty is within reach, creating a breathtaking view with every step. There's also a beautiful public library, the Nalangma Community Library. The staff are genuinely warm, and every detail is truly heartwarming. Here, both the eyes and the soul are healed."
