"The receptionists were all very nice. The pet-friendly nature of the B&B is a big plus! We came from Chengdu to escape the summer heat, but we didn't expect Kangding to still be a bit hot at night, so it was a bit stuffy at night. If you can't stand the heat, just ask the owner for a fan. For the rest, there's a douche bag. They also offer fruit, ice jelly, and small cakes. If you're bringing your pet, this place is a great choice. 👍 It's within walking distance of downtown Kangding!"

Choosing to stay in Xinduqiao on the first day is actually very risky for people who are prone to altitude sickness, so it is very important to choose a hotel with an oxygen concentrator. I woke up with a headache at 2 a.m. and asked my boss, and he said the oxygen concentrator was also online. I give a big thumbs up.
The boss is from Hunan and is very warm-hearted. Originally, I wanted to eat out after arriving at the hotel, but the boss was very confident in his dinner, so we chose to eat in the hotel. It was really good, especially the stir-fried dishes, which went really well with rice. The breakfast was about average for western Sichuan, neither good nor bad.
In winter, there is floor heating, so be sure to put things that are sensitive to heat on the table.
The temperature in the bathroom rises slowly, so it is recommended not to wash your hair or take a shower on the first day.

"Pros: The room was spacious with a minimalist Scandinavian style. The bed was very comfortable and even provided steam eye masks and earplugs. The large floor-to-ceiling windows offered a great view, with distant snow-capped mountains in the distance.
Cons: Being a hillside guesthouse, the roads were narrow, making driving and parking very inconvenient. While the descent to Liuliu Town wasn't far, the return hike was a real challenge – a harrowing half-hour climb. The hotel offered virtually no service, and the breakfast was rather basic, lacking even eggs."

GGuest UserHonestly, this hotel is really great! It has a fantastic feel, very comfortable and relaxing. There's a huge Gongga Snow Mountain display on the first floor, which is quite unique. The public areas and lounge area are spacious, although the reception is on the third floor, which took us a little while to find, haha!
The third floor is also beautiful, perfect for taking photos, having a cocktail or coffee, and relaxing. The fourth floor also has a great public area for photos, and the pictures turn out especially beautiful. The spiral staircase is very distinctive.
Overall, the first impression of the hotel is excellent, and the service is truly outstanding. They patiently helped solve any problems. The receptionists were all very kind and welcoming, but not in an uncomfortable way; instead, they made us feel very comfortable.
The hotel's facilities for guests are also very complete. The hot water was warm, and they turned on the underfloor heating in advance, making the room temperature very comfortable. The bedding was also very comfortable; the latex pillows are much more comfortable than cotton pillows. The hotel was also very clean.

GGuest UserWe had an excellent stay here. The host and staff are super kind and caring. My partner was suffering from the altitude when we arrived and they immediately set us up with an oxygen concentrator. He felt better almost immediately. We are thankful they had one! They kept checking in on our health throughout our entire stay.
We had a beautiful big room on the fourth floor with views of Mt. Yala and life around the river. Loved the in floor heating. Even if you don't get a room on the 4th floor, there is a sitting area up with the view. The hotel is close to the main street, 10 minute walk to Tagong Monastery, 20 minute walk to the study monastery and 5 minute walk to the trail which leads up over the grasslands to Ani Gompa and Muya Dasi.
We can't thank the host and staff enough - they made a delicious hotpot on our first night, looked after us everyday and found us a ride onto Danba. They and we managed the English translation apps enough that we could work through the language barrier.

SsawpohVery beautiful villa, with unbeatable view from the window. We stayed a night here, arrived by private car transfer. Location is a bit remote but worth the long drive as the scenery along the drive from Tagong to the villa was spectacular. Room is clean and spacious with quality amenities. services from the ladies at the front desk and restaurant were great. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant which is tastefully renovated and the dishes were cooked to perfection. Breakfast is combination of sandwich and Chinese meal. Oh we also saw a few marmots just few meters from the hotel along the way to the viewing point.

GGuest UserI came to western Sichuan to take wedding photos. When I saw the pictures, I felt that they were very suitable for me, so I booked it immediately.
Shortly after landing in Chengdu, the lady called me to ask if I needed to reserve dinner. I felt the warm service before I checked in.
After a day of shooting, the altitude sickness was a bit serious. When I returned to the hotel, the lady helped us prepare sugar and salt water. It really felt like returning home.
Here, the key point is: for a journey dominated by natural scenery, it is really too important to live comfortably. The basic configuration of Tingshan impressed me the most. 1️⃣ The room temperature is suitable 2️⃣ The shower water pressure is very sufficient 3️⃣ The pillow is super comfortable
But what impressed me the most was the lovely people. Whether it was the boss or the store manager, they were all very warm and warm. I look forward to coming again in the summer, and everyone will sing, drink and BBQ in the yard together!

HHexuhexuThe documentary showed me the Nalangma Community Library, and I learned about its story and the Lagang Pasture.
This time, my vacation in Tagong was relaxed; I only visited Lagang, and it was so comfortable that I decided to stay another night – a true ”secluded retreat.”
The traditional ******* architecture, the close-to-nature atmosphere, the complete facilities (no TVs, which made it quieter – definitely a plus), and the thoughtful amenities all showed genuine care.
The owner and his team were all warm, honest, attentive, and efficient – a truly welcoming experience. And then there's the pet dog, a local cow.
You can see the sunrise over the mountains directly from your room. Of course, taking a short walk to the pasture behind the guesthouse for photos would be even more immersive. You can even hike across the grassland to reach the Muya Grand Temple, a little over two kilometers one way. Unfortunately, the wind was strong and the temperature was low that night, so I couldn't see the Milky Way and the starry sky for long. Next time the season changes, I'll have to remind myself to bring a tripod, shoot some time-lapses, and find a different ranch experience.

The most comfortable sleep at this altitude. The facilities in the room are good, clean and refreshing! The scenery is good.
The service is also great! The girls at the front desk are very beautiful. They turned on the oxygen generator in the room before we checked in, and contacted us in advance to locate the address. We don’t have to worry about the luggage, they helped us carry it up and down, and gave us a small bag of gifts, water and fruit when we left.
Also, the two cats in the store are very friendly and I like them very much. It is also an extra benefit for our stay.

GGuest UserThis hotel was good except for the disappointment about the gym. We booked this hotel specifically out of others in kangding as it was written on booking that the hotel offers a gym. We are on a training program and need a gym. When we arrived and asked about the gym they said that the gym had not been opened yet. When I asked why they advertise themselves as hotel with a gym the response was “we used to have a gym, now it’s under renovation because some of the equipment is out of use”, and when I asked if I still could use what equipment that was working, the response was simply no and that I can go to an outdoor exercise area outside in the freezing cold. So rude! Except for this the hotel was totally fine, nice rooms and good breakfast. Just don’t advertise what you don’t have online, it leaves costumers dissatisfied even if the rest was good.

The place is clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with a beautiful and thoughtfully designed interior that creates a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was pleasantly warm and cozy, perfect for the weather.
Our only regret was arriving quite late at night and leaving early the next morning — we couldn’t fully enjoy the beauty of the hotel. But because of how nice the stay was, we will definitely come back again for a longer visit.

GGuest UserTime Forgiveness Resort is where we're staying for the next two days. I'm really impressed with this hotel; its modern decor seamlessly blends with numerous ******* elements. The lady at the front desk was incredibly warm and welcoming! Upon arrival, she presented us with a Hada (a ceremonial scarf) and offered a heartwarming bowl of butter tea.
The staff member helped us with our luggage to our room and gave us a tour of the facilities. What really caught my attention was the oxygen enrichment system, which allows for direct oxygen inhalation or can diffuse oxygen throughout the room.
Our room also came with a complimentary fruit platter, and the mini-fridge was stocked with free Coke, Sprite, and biscuits. These thoughtful little touches truly made me feel the room rate was fantastic value for money!
Disposable nasal oxygen cannulas and bottled water were readily available for self-service next to the elevator on every floor, which was incredibly convenient.
Every evening before 10 PM, the hotel courtyard hosts a bonfire gathering. It's wonderfully relaxing to sit by the fire, listen to music, and if you're feeling brave, talented guests are even invited to sing a song or two!
