"Fabulous hostel, i loved it. All wood made, this place offers all a backpacker may need (various cleaning soaps, loudry, drinking hot water, board games ,etc.). Super clean, the dorm is large with window. Plagues and bed light. No heating but an electric planket keeps dreams warm and cozy. Running hot water. Amazing common spaces inside and outside with breathtaking view on the surrounding of Kangding. The host, very gentle and friendly, speaks good english and has two cute and fun cats. My staying there was too short but very pleasant."

"This guesthouse is located in the XinDuQiao Ten-Mile Gallery, just a few minutes from town, which is super convenient. There are also many scenic spots nearby to catch the 'Golden Mountain' sunrise. The transportation is excellent. When I checked in, the front desk lady was incredibly welcoming; she even helped me with my luggage and upgraded my room! The underfloor heating was already turned on when I entered, and the room was spotlessly clean. The humidifier was also a powerful one, which was a huge plus for the weather in western Sichuan. The front desk lady had even started the oxygen supply in advance, which really helped with the altitude sickness – big thumbs up! What really stood out was the incredible view from the room; every angle was picture-perfect. They also offer ******* traditional clothing for rent, and the owner has excellent taste – the outfits are beautiful and perfect for photos in the courtyard. In the morning, I opened the window to see horses galloping in the meadows. Honestly, this place is perfect for anyone on vacation or traveling. I genuinely recommend it! I rarely write positive reviews, but I just had to for this hotel. Highly recommend! ˃̶͈ ꇴ ˂̶͈"

"Our room in Kangding had a beautiful view. It was clean and spacious. The staff was very welcoming putting a lot of effort to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Besides they made great coffee! You can enjoy the coffee sitting on the terrace which has a beautiful view over the mountains. Especially the receptionist Bing invested so much effort to help us organize our trip and giving us an unforgettable evening. The location is also not far from the city center. You can reach it by walking. We would definitely visit again! ☺️"

If you don't take the 318 National Highway, the road from the foot of the mountain is very narrow, and parking is limited. Walking from the guesthouse to the Love Song Square involves a steep 1km slope, which is inconvenient. Service: Average."

"The guesthouse isn't big, tucked away on a slope, but the location is absolutely stunning—you can see the snow-capped mountains directly from the room. At sunrise, the golden peaks hang quietly in the window frame. No need to go out, no need to rush; you can watch the sunrise over the mountains from your bed. At that moment, I felt staying here was the perfect decision. The landlady is a local from Kangding. She's not talkative, but incredibly genuine. During check-in, she gave me a few brief instructions, and whenever we met, she would smile and ask, ”Where did you go today?” and ”Are you cold?” Her dog, Cola, is also incredibly cute. Upon check-out, the owner gave us ******* incense and a hada (ceremonial scarf) as gifts! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kangding. Tashi Delek!"

"I am very satisfied with this stay experience. The boss used to play antique literature, so the decoration style of the whole homestay is unique, very distinctive and charming. And the boss wife is very enthusiastic with the staff, prepared Rhodiola, oxygen cylinders, etc. in case we have any discomfort. Dinner and the young lady dance performance, the next day we took us to the forest to hike, and also fed the groundhog, very relaxed. I heard from the boss that I can see the horse deer, ride horses, etc. in the future, and I will definitely come again in the future!"

"This hotel was good except for the disappointment about the gym. We booked this hotel specifically out of others in kangding as it was written on booking that the hotel offers a gym. We are on a training program and need a gym. When we arrived and asked about the gym they said that the gym had not been opened yet. When I asked why they advertise themselves as hotel with a gym the response was “we used to have a gym, now it’s under renovation because some of the equipment is out of use”, and when I asked if I still could use what equipment that was working, the response was simply no and that I can go to an outdoor exercise area outside in the freezing cold. So rude! Except for this the hotel was totally fine, nice rooms and good breakfast. Just don’t advertise what you don’t have online, it leaves costumers dissatisfied even if the rest was good."

"Abt 600 mtrs from Xinduqiao bus station. Tashi, the front desk is very attentive & willing to help us solve any problems we encountered with. We enjoyed being here with the facilities provided except charging fee for oxygen."
