"Super beautiful and well designed hotel with exceptional service. After coming back from the mountains we felt so well taken care of and could get some rest: we could wash our clothes, got super tasty snacks for free and the staff immediately attended any question or requests we had.
The hotel is also perfectly located in Kanding. Super close to two main temples and only a 20 minute walk to the city center. The view from the room we had was also amazing.
Highly highly recommend this hotel when visiting Kanding - and we hope to come back again! Thank you again!"

"We stayed at Intercity for our second night and regretted not choosing it for our first! First off, the decor is an Italian light luxury style, and the room was very clean and comfortably sized. The location is super convenient for getting around, especially since I was with my baby and a stroller – no hills to climb, and it's just steps away from the main square. Plus, the lady at the front desk was incredibly nice and gave my baby lots of little gifts. For a place like Kangding, which is notorious for traffic and difficult parking, the hotel's underground parking was also very convenient. All in all, it was a highly satisfying stay! If you're coming to Kangding, don't bother with guesthouses, just book this hotel! We'll definitely choose Intercity again next time! It would be even better if they offered baby bed rails!"

"I think the whole environment is very good, the proprietress is very kind, and the breakfast is quite delicious. Their pickled mustard should be homemade. The view from this room we chose was really good and it was really comfortable to sit there and watch the scenery. I don't want to walk out at all, followed by breakfast I think it's quite ok. I have seen people say that the hot water supply is poor, but we took a hot shower last night and it was very good!
Highly recommended, the puppy is also very nice, and although it is in the mountains, you can order takeaway! ! ! ! very good! I'm completely lazy to go out, I can do it all in my room."

"A huge thank you to the owner and their family for their wonderful care! I caught a bad cold and developed a high fever in Balang County that day. The owner was incredibly kind, providing me with medicine and hot tea. I was so unwell that I couldn't properly thank them at the time, nor did I have the energy to fully enjoy the stay. I headed back to Chongqing the very next day once I felt a bit better. I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends when I get the chance!
The breakfast, delivered straight to my room, was a very thoughtful touch, and the spread was incredibly generous.

"I rarely write reviews or book guesthouses often, but the service at this place was so exceptional that I have to give it a serious shout-out. The guesthouse is located halfway up a mountain, with parking available in front. It was quite cold outside, but the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere filled with pleasant aromas. The underfloor heating had already been turned on, and welcome fruit was thoughtfully provided. The fatigue from a long day of driving instantly vanished. The room was clean and tidy. After dropping off our luggage and preparing to head down the mountain for dinner, the owners kindly left their phone number and offered to pick us up that evening – a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture. Breakfast was also excellent, with a variety of options including porridge, eggs, steamed buns, shumai, and sweet potatoes. The owners, a husband and wife team, were incredibly kind, warm, and attentive, always putting their guests' needs first. A perfect experience! I'll definitely stay here again next time!"

"The hotel is newly built, the environment is general, the opposite is the Yala Snow Mountain, you can see it when you open the window. It is very close to the Tagong grassland next to it, but there is no other shopping around. It is commendable that the chef, at first I saw the menu price and felt a bit expensive, and I felt too worth it after the dish was on the table. The portion is large, the dishes are so delicious, even the cabbage has the best taste. Here the high reaction is serious, and the family has a fever. The hotel was cleaned in time and provided oxygen pipes, and the service was good. I wanted to play in the grassland, but I gave up because of the high reaction."

"The room was so cozy, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the grasslands and sunrise, it felt like a vacation.
It was incredibly warm at night, with an electric heater and blanket. After a cold day spent taking photos, it was a wonderfully cozy night.
The soundproofing was excellent, and the large bed was incredibly comfortable. It was the best night's rest we had in western Sichuan.
The owner was very nice and accommodating, proactively helping with our luggage and other needs. The breakfast pancakes were soft and delicious, and we enjoyed them while we ate. 😛"

PockyBackpackThis hotel is located off the main road, requiring a short drive on a dirt path up a hill. On clear days, you can enjoy a stunning view of the snow-capped mountains. All the staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. Since I was traveling alone, the hotel thoughtfully adjusted the hotpot portion to suit one person — which I really appreciated — and it was absolutely delicious.
Every room offers a view of the snowy mountains. The in-room amenities are of high quality, the room is cozy and comfortably warm, and the size is just right — not too big or small. My favorite part, though, was the hotel’s common area, especially during sunset when the snow mountains turn red. The staff even invited me to step outside and take photos, which was so sweet of them.
The next morning, I had to leave early, but breakfast normally starts late. Still, the staff kindly prepared an early breakfast just for me. Overall, the service mindset here is truly impressive, and the hotel’s common area is stunning — a paradise for photography lovers, with countless beautiful spots for pictures.

The manager of the plase , spoiled me with lots of good things as I arrived, did not let me cary any thing, just to make it easy on me.
The plase is butifull, covered with all kind of tibetin excesories. I loved the Interier of the lobby, dining room and the room itself , butifull decorated.
The manager welcomed me with open arms.and my stay was a mamrabale one.

Guest UserThis hotel was good except for the disappointment about the gym. We booked this hotel specifically out of others in kangding as it was written on booking that the hotel offers a gym. We are on a training program and need a gym. When we arrived and asked about the gym they said that the gym had not been opened yet. When I asked why they advertise themselves as hotel with a gym the response was “we used to have a gym, now it’s under renovation because some of the equipment is out of use”, and when I asked if I still could use what equipment that was working, the response was simply no and that I can go to an outdoor exercise area outside in the freezing cold. So rude! Except for this the hotel was totally fine, nice rooms and good breakfast. Just don’t advertise what you don’t have online, it leaves costumers dissatisfied even if the rest was good.

The room has 2 bedrooms and a very large living room. When I opened the door, I was shocked because the room was very good. When I walked outside, I saw the view of the Yala Snow Mountain. It was very beautiful. The accommodation was quiet. The owner provided good service. He cooked and took care of everything himself. The only problem was that the toilet was a pit, but it was understandable because it was normal in China.

Yema Haizi is the first choice for accommodation. It is very suitable for self-driving.
It only takes 20-30 minutes to get there by car. The location is very convenient.
The hotel environment is comfortable and elegant. There are electric blankets, so you don't have to worry about the cold.

The academy has complete facilities. There is a bookstore and cafe in the hotel with a good atmosphere. You can drink tea, coffee and read books. The staff provide good service. The guesthouse was easy to find and conveniently located close to the city center. The place itself was lovely, spotless, and hygienic. The underfloor heating was incredibly warm – I didn't feel cold at all! The guesthouse hostess was incredibly warm and friendly. I'm usually a bit introverted, but her proactive greeting made me feel completely at ease. For breakfast, she served homemade porridge, eggs, steamed buns, and twisted rolls. The steamed sweet potatoes were exceptionally soft, tender, and sweet – so delicious I almost asked her where she bought them! Next time I'm in Kangding, I'll definitely stay here again!

Jake Vaughan 杰克Amazing hostel with cozy interior and a really lovely host who made the stay extra enjoyable! The location was ideal for me as the hostel is high enough up the hill that you get an stunning view but still only have to walk around 10 minutes (up/down hill) to get to the centre of the city. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the common area for relaxing is beautifully decorated in traditional ******* style. The host was really helpful and caring (always bringing us tea and snacks) and we had some great conversations with her about life in Kangding. She gave us lots of advice on what to do in the city, helped us out organizing cheap transport back to Chengdu, and even made us a super unique and delicious fusion meal of yak steak with salad. Highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere with a traditional feel and a great view!

Such a good place in the heart of Tagong! Very clean and the owner is an amazing person! I booked a double room but he offered me a free upgrade to a bigger room. He also helped me book a bus and came all the way with me to the bus station to make sure I board the right bus. I really recommend this place!
