"I stayed at the Kangding Love Song Square Intercity Hotel this time, and the overall experience was excellent. It was the most comfortable and memorable hotel during my entire trip. The hotel's location is superb, right in the heart of Kangding, making it super convenient for walks, finding food, and shopping. They also offer free parking with a dedicated attendant to guide you, which is incredibly friendly for self-driving travelers. The parking process was very smooth. The rooms and facilities are great, making for a very comfortable stay. The overall quality exceeded my expectations. The service also gets extra points; the staff members are highly professional. We arrived quite late after a long journey, and the front desk lady, seeing how tired we were, thoughtfully added two extra breakfasts for us. That truly warmed my heart. I must also praise the breakfast; it was the most satisfying hotel breakfast I had on this trip, both in terms of variety and taste. The breakfast restaurant also has a fantastic view; sitting by the window, you can even see the golden roof of a temple, which made eating breakfast in the morning incredibly pleasant. Overall, this hotel excels in every aspect – location, facilities, service, and breakfast experience. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kangding. I will definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Kangding."

"Environment: The moment you enter the courtyard, you're captivated. The estate boasts a vibrant array of unique highland flowers, incredibly beautiful and spacious. Parking is convenient, and you can even enjoy afternoon tea in the courtyard. Facilities: Although older than some hotels and guesthouses, the management is excellent, and the facilities are well-established, eliminating any concerns about newer establishments. Cleanliness: The place is spotless and tidy, with dedicated cleaning staff. The estate comprises three buildings, and the breakfast is both hygienic and plentiful. Service: Upon entering the check-in lobby, the receptionist, Siqu, was incredibly welcoming. She helped us with our luggage and even presented us with a traditional hada (ceremonial scarf), making us feel right at home. I highly recommend this place to friends. Oxygen Supply: Oxygen is available in the rooms after 8 PM, and there are also humidifiers – a thoughtful touch."

"Super beautiful and well designed hotel with exceptional service. After coming back from the mountains we felt so well taken care of and could get some rest: we could wash our clothes, got super tasty snacks for free and the staff immediately attended any question or requests we had. The hotel is also perfectly located in Kanding. Super close to two main temples and only a 20 minute walk to the city center. The view from the room we had was also amazing. Highly highly recommend this hotel when visiting Kanding - and we hope to come back again! Thank you again!"

"Not bad: The environment is great, you can see the snow-capped mountains; dinner was good; breakfast was a bit limited, and unfortunately, there was no coffee. Service needs improvement; they only welcome guests but don't see them off. The room cleaning was just okay, and the overall staff quality needs to be raised. The owner was very enthusiastic. The bathroom and shower doors have a hidden lock, which was a bit faulty, and I almost couldn't open it, getting locked inside the shower stall."

"This guesthouse is located in the XinDuQiao Ten-Mile Gallery, just a few minutes from town, which is super convenient. There are also many scenic spots nearby to catch the 'Golden Mountain' sunrise. The transportation is excellent. When I checked in, the front desk lady was incredibly welcoming; she even helped me with my luggage and upgraded my room! The underfloor heating was already turned on when I entered, and the room was spotlessly clean. The humidifier was also a powerful one, which was a huge plus for the weather in western Sichuan. The front desk lady had even started the oxygen supply in advance, which really helped with the altitude sickness – big thumbs up! What really stood out was the incredible view from the room; every angle was picture-perfect. They also offer ******* traditional clothing for rent, and the owner has excellent taste – the outfits are beautiful and perfect for photos in the courtyard. In the morning, I opened the window to see horses galloping in the meadows. Honestly, this place is perfect for anyone on vacation or traveling. I genuinely recommend it! I rarely write positive reviews, but I just had to for this hotel. Highly recommend! ˃̶͈ ꇴ ˂̶͈"

The service was top-notch; from the front desk to housekeeping, everyone was warm, attentive, and always eager to help. Hygiene was impeccable, with both the rooms and public areas being spotlessly clean. The parking lot was spacious and convenient, and the breakfast spread was extensive and delicious. "Staff was friendly, room was spacious and clean. Breakfast had limited choices, nevertheless I enjoyed it. The hotel has hot springs. They are natural, however heated, not natural temperature. I think I overpaid (180rmb) for a driver to take me to Mugecuo, which is only about 12 km. My 4 hour car ride back to Chengdu was only 150 rmb. The hotel is about 7km from the downtown kangding area. Overall, I enjoyed it peaceful, quiet place. It’s a bit remote, ideal for people who want to get away from people and crowds."

GGuanguantabaHere are a few complaints about the hotel: 1. The bathroom was cramped; it was difficult to even turn around. 2. The toilet looked like a smart toilet, but the seat was ice-cold, making my bottom feel chilly, especially in the freezing weather outside. 3. There was no underfloor heating in the bathroom; my feet were freezing. 4. The room was advertised as 50 square meters, but in my opinion, it was just cramped. 5. Dinner options were limited; the 368 RMB yak hotpot was just so-so. 6. The most unbearable thing was the breakfast. For a room costing 1400 RMB, all you gave a guest was a bowl of noodles? A child got a bowl of porridge, and that was it? We waited 40 minutes for breakfast! The next day, we went to the Ji Hotel in Shangri-La Town, a chain hotel costing just over 400 RMB, and the food there was far superior. In conclusion: aside from the scenery, everything else was unsatisfactory; it wasn't worth the 1400 RMB price tag.

KKoHKxxThis is a fantastic hotel run by tibetans in Tagong! The location is less than 10 min walk from Tagong gompa where public buses and shared taxis are available. Between the gompa and the hotel, you can find some ******* or Sichuan restaurants. The facility is quite decent and well maintained. Especially, ******* decoration is awesome. Also, staff members are quite helpful. Though they don't speak English, they took care of me ranging from transportation to food.

Oxygen is provided in the room, and there is also floor heating, which is very helpful in the very cold weather and high altitude. The front desk staff are very helpful and friendly, even though we communicated using a translation app. The hotel also provides free breakfast. For us as Muslims, bread, eggs, corn, sweet potatoes, and fruits are already sufficient. This is a good hotel for Muslim travelers as a stopover on the way to Daocheng Yading, as there are two halal Muslim restaurants within a 7–10 minute walking distance. Highly recommended.

They even recommended many delicious restaurants to us, and we didn't miss out on any of them! Upon arrival at night, the warm yellow lighting in the lobby casts a gentle glow, showcasing exquisite style day and night. In the common areas, you can choose from a variety of ******* costumes for photoshoots. You might even encounter alpacas, puppies, and marmots on the lawn. The bonfire party at night, paired with a dazzling starry sky, creates a truly immersive atmosphere. The ”Starry Sky Room” was a delightful surprise; the pristine white space is fully equipped with an oxygen concentrator, humidifier, and underfloor heating. Soft bedding is complemented by a hidden projector, and the electric skylight allows you to lie back and gaze at the Milky Way. Breakfast is thoughtfully provided with freshly cooked rice noodles, hot porridge, and a variety of side dishes and snacks. The brown sugar steamed cake is sweet and delicious. The guesthouse's café's pink bubble tea and coconut latte are both visually appealing and delicious. Before leaving, I wrote down my hopes in the guestbook. Xinduqiao is truly a place worth returning to!

AAlyssa Teng 敏丽Super hospitable hosts. Very welcoming. Room is very clean. Shower room was awesome. Smart room comes in handy. We even caught drama on the projector before bedtime. We enjoyed every bit of our stay. Highly recommended! Just some things to take note of, though it didn’t bother us at all: there’s no lift and it’s abit of an uphill/downhill walk to 柳柳城. 很棒的年轻老板，老板娘还有他们可爱的儿子。老板非常好客！请我们吃烤红薯和喝茶。一切都如我们预期的好。房间干净，淋浴房和厕所也同样。房间有投影仪，我们临睡前、还看了戏剧。很棒的民宿体验！要注意的是，民宿没有电梯，但也不影响。老板娘帮我们背行李上楼。去溜溜城也需要走上下坡。

JJanchengnanI chose a smaller room, and it was incredibly comfortable. The service was very responsive. The room amenities were excellent, and the location was super convenient for getting around. It's close to the main road but cleverly avoids all the traffic noise. We were among the few guests, and on the second day, they even upgraded our room! Just a heads-up: it uses underfloor heating, so remember not to turn it off, especially in winter, even when you go out.

GGuest UserI booked the ”river view” room on the 13th floor and obviously, I stuck gold after cranking my head from my room window, looking down to the raging water roaring through the river in the center of the city street. When I said ”raging” water, I meant cascading flows that echo through the entire city block. I had seen such terrain in Switzerland before but this is more impressive. So ”location” is the biggest merit and I would recommend never sparing the money in exchange for the river=side room. Plus, the hotel is looking against the famous ”Love Song” Plaza of KarnDin City. For those who wonder what the big deal is about the ”KangDin Love Song”. For starters, it is a part of the Chinese growing-up song that is deeply entrenched in education, for even a person raised in Taiwan, let alone ethnical Chinese in the Mailand. It is more like a pilgrimage than touring that brought many to the city. The smaller plaza right in front of the hotel lobby begins to gather impromptu dances at about 8 pm (Beijing time, local time ~ 6 p.m.). I admire the local Tibetans of all ages whose spontaneity sways with the music. The hotel doorman told me that yes, there were Han tourists also in the troupe, but you could usually tell them apart because they were the awkward-looking ones. I have no complaints about the service, and I appreciate the enthusiasm the front desk people show when I try to gather information. One more thing before I leave: if you are tired of the summer heat, Kangdin is the city you want to come! In late June, the daily high is 12 C! The travel to the city has made extremely convenient by the recent completed Highway 42--an incredible feat of tunnel engineering in the world.
