"I didn't expect such a great hotel in Mohe! It's very new, clean, and the service is excellent. This was our first time visiting Mohe, and we thought the hotel conditions would be pretty basic, but as soon as we stepped inside, we found it had a very modern design style."

"Facilities: Our family room was located on the ground floor, offering pleasant views of blue skies, white clouds, and green lawns just outside the window. The room itself wasn't huge, but had a lovely rustic wooden aesthetic throughout, and the bedding was exceptionally comfortable. A thermos flask was provided, which we could refill with hot water from the lobby. Disposable toiletries were plentiful, though the bathroom lacked a separate wet and dry area. Cleanliness: The place was spotless, and housekeeping was very efficient. Environment: Located about 3 kilometers beyond the scenic area's main entrance, it offered a wonderfully quiet escape. The guesthouse itself was tastefully designed with a charming, rustic vibe. It even boasted a quaint vegetable garden and a peaceful gazebo in the courtyard, perfect for sitting quietly, enjoying the breeze, and reading a book – truly idyllic. Service: The owners, a family, were quiet but incredibly hardworking and attentive. They subtly ensured all our needs were met without much fuss. They even offered complimentary rides for us to see the reindeer and enjoy a boat trip. Breakfast: Breakfast included 5 cold dishes, boiled eggs, fried dough sticks, steamed buns, flower rolls, corn porridge, and soy milk. Everything was homemade by the owner and utterly delicious. This was our children's favorite place on the entire trip; three nights simply weren't enough! We hope to return again during the snowy season."

"Although it was -40 degrees Celsius, the guesthouse was so warm and cozy. We even had to sleep with the windows open at night. There were free water-splashing ice machines to play with outside, and fireworks too. The owner was incredibly helpful, constantly assisting us with finding shared rides and group tours. They were so hospitable; they even gave us two bottles of water when we left, which touched me deeply. Although I won't be coming back to Mohe (too cold), I'll definitely recommend it to my friends!"

"The place was spotlessly clean, and its location is excellent – very close to the shopping mall and Seven Star Square, which is also a hub for sightseeing buses. The interior decor is thoughtfully detailed and has a wonderful artistic flair; the entire place felt fresh and beautifully designed. They provide guests with a really handy sightseeing map – other tourists were even asking where I got mine! I accidentally misplaced it, and the front desk staff immediately gave me a new one. "The hotel is located in a busy area of ​​the city, with a wide square in front of the door and ample parking spaces. The room is clean, spacious and bright, and the bedding is comfortable, but the hotel is a bit old, the facilities are old, and there is a musty smell. "For this trip to the Far North, I planned everything myself. I snagged train tickets for the Harbin-Mohe round trip 15 days in advance – if you can't get them, just wait on the standby list until they become available. When choosing accommodation, my eye was immediately drawn to this newly opened guesthouse. A little hesitant, I called the owner before booking. This 80s-born owner (referring to someone born in the 1980s) helped us arrange a chartered car and guide, and also gave us some crucial tips. He was so friendly that I immediately took his advice to skip staying in Beihong Village and booked three nights here instead. We were incredibly lucky; we got a notification on the 6th that the aurora's KP index would be 6-7 on the evening of the 9th. Even though it had snowed earlier, he told us to be on standby that night and then drove our group out to chase the aurora, stargaze, see the extreme cold light pillars, and even provided props for us to play with and take photos. The guesthouse is right by the river, and they offer free 'splashing water into ice' (don't waste 10 yuan paying others for this!). The owner even tells you the best times to go out and try it. I missed the first day's windless sunrise; after breakfast, I went upstairs, and it was already snowing [crying emoji]. I tried again today, but unfortunately, it was very windy, which reduced the effect. Regarding the chartered driver, it depends on how many people you have. If you want to save time and have a better experience, I recommend booking a private car. Find a local guide to handle all the pick-ups and drop-offs – it'll also save you money. In the extreme cold of minus 30 degrees, dragging luggage around everywhere felt like quite a test of courage."

"The proprietress was incredibly warm and hospitable, showing the characteristic generosity and open-heartedness of people from Northeast China. The room was clean and tidy, and there were plenty of dining options nearby, so we didn't have to worry about food. The nights were also very quiet, making for a very comfortable stay. "We just finished a wonderful trip to Arctic Village and couldn't be more pleased to give **Lanshan B&B** a five-star review! This stay with our children was truly a delightful experience, and the whole family raved about it! We checked in on July 24th. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, with a warm smile. We originally booked a standard room, but the staff proactively upgraded us to a spacious and comfortable family room free of charge! It was the perfect gift after a tiring trip! The upgrade made us feel right at home the moment we walked in. This unexpected gesture made our first impression of the B&B a fantastic one! Thank you to the owner for your generosity! The most exciting and unforgettable part of our stay for the children was definitely the courtyard! It's filled with play equipment specifically designed for children, and it's both safe and fun. Most importantly, the entire courtyard has a camping vibe, complete with a wooden deck, comfortable outdoor tables and chairs, and dotted with ambient lighting. The children ran and played happily inside, while we adults sat nearby, enjoying the cool summer breeze of the Arctic Village and looking up at the sky (and, with a little luck, the stars). It felt so relaxing and cozy, like camping in the forest, but so much more comfortable and convenient! This courtyard is definitely a highlight of Lanshan B&B, a must-see for families with children! The breakfast at the B&B is absolutely top-notch, with a dazzling variety of options, truly up to the standard of a star-rated hotel."
