Venice Hotels with Bars

"Staying on a higher floor is recommended, as the ground floor seems to be a bar or something similar, and it gets quite noisy. The hotel is very close to the train station, just a short walk away. There are also several good Chinese restaurants nearby. I took a walk around the neighborhood one evening and ended up in a community that seemed to have a lot of Black residents. It's probably best not to wander around there at night."

"Friendly Staff and Great Tips for Visiting Venice We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Centrale. What really made the experience special was the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. They kindly explained to us the easiest way to visit Venice without driving into the city. Instead of driving and paying expensive parking fees in Venice (which can be at least €25 or more), they suggested taking Bus 7 or 7E, which goes directly to Venice with the last stop near the main area. The journey only takes about 20 minutes, making it very convenient. They also recommended a nearby parking area costing around €12, which saved us quite a bit. The hotel itself is comfortable and practical. The room was a good size with everything we needed, including a nice hot shower after a long day of travel. Breakfast was good, and the hotel seems quite popular. There is also a little shop just next door so you can just buy whatever that you need. The surrounding town is simple, but the hotel’s location is very convenient for visiting Venice. We also appreciated that dogs are allowed, which made traveling with our pet much easier. Overall, the friendly service and helpful local advice made a big difference to our stay."

"Hotel Principe is truly one of the most convenient stays in Venice, located just a short walk from the Santa Lucia train station  — a great advantage in a city full of bridges and steps . The hotel offers two guest lifts, which makes moving around with luggage incredibly easy. The lounge area is spacious, beautifully decorated, and provides a warm, elegant welcome. One of the highlights is the direct access to the Venice canal right from within the hotel. You can relax and enjoy the charming view of boats gliding along the water — a quintessential Venetian experience. Our room was spacious and comfortable, offering a pleasant stay overall. We genuinely hope the hotel continues to maintain its good standard, as we would love to return on our future visits to Venice."

"We have stayed in this hotel only for the weekend  but we had an amazing experience with the hotel staff in breakfast and dinner. So nice to all the customers and always with a smile on their faces. I would be choosing this hotel again next on my visit to Venice. As we don’t like the crowded places the location is great, rooms are clean and nice nothing old or not cleaned. 10 minutes from Venice by bus 5. Bus stop outside the hotel literally. Same bus can take you from airport to hotel and back. Buy 72 hours tkt in the hotel and you can use it for murano burano and for buses with train. Price is 45€. In general ana amazing price experience good food in the hotel. 100% suggest it."

"The hotel does not provide any amenities other than towels and soap. It is close to the port of Lido, so it is easily accessible, and the service was very pleasant."

"Hotel is amazingly located between the Rialto Bridge and St Marks, it’s also 4 min walk to the Academia bridge and water bus stop. Staff were very friendly on check in, for breakfast and at the bar. Breakfast is excellent with a wide range of cold and some hot options, defiantly something for everyone. Our room was quite small but when in Venice I wouldn’t expect to be in the room for much more than sleeping!!!"

"The only thing good about this hostel is location. I stayed few days there. I saw housekeeping not really done properly, room not vacuumed, shower cream not replaced, everything on the shared table in the room was dumped, even a plate! Charging point not working in most bed. Kitchen only have one microwave, 3 fridges but don’t put your things in there, because there were thieves who steal food! Check in after 7pm is a messed and chaos few days ago, or everyday I not sure. System down, people queueing not because business was too good. Was told it happened daily."

"Lovely modern hotel situated approx less than 10mins walk from the water bus stop Lido SME. Breakfast was simple…cereals, some fruit, baked goods and cold meats. If you wanted something hot, there was only scrambled eggs, sausages and/or bacon. The coffee wasn’t great…it was a Douwe Egbert machine. It’s about a 10min walk to the beach which was beautiful. The room was small but adequate. It was really hot in the room and there were no instructions on how to use the air on. We just opened the windows which helped slightly. You have body wash/shampoo provided but no hair conditioner so we had to go to a nearby local supermarket (called Coop) to buy. There’s also complimentary teas and coffee in the room. Other stuff in the mini fridge is chargeable. Staff are pleasant and helpful."

"A fantastic place to be on the island of Murano. A 5 minute walk from the waterbus station of Murano Navagero and near to all what Murano has to offer. The room was modern and comfortable, the breakfast varied and the hotel a hidden gem. The staff are accommodating and nothing is beyond their reach. Yes, you are not on the main island, but you are only a 20 minute ride away as you experience life on the water. If you have a few days in Venice, I would highly recommend this hotel as you stay in comfort and affordability away from the expensive traps of the main island."
