There was a minor hiccup during check-in; the front desk didn't ask about my room preference beforehand and assigned me a connecting room. As I'm generally uncomfortable with connecting rooms, I went back down to the front desk to request a change. The staff member was incredibly patient and understanding throughout, handling my request with remarkable efficiency. There was no attempt to pass the buck; instead, they immediately upgraded me to a Superior Business Room free of charge. The new room was spacious and quiet, significantly enhancing my comfort during the stay. This incident truly highlighted the hotel's flexible and warm service, and their problem-solving approach was genuinely reassuring. The hotel's facilities are elegant and grand, with public areas impeccably clean and well-maintained, and amenities are comprehensive. The breakfast buffet is a major highlight, offering an exceptionally wide variety of choices. From Chinese and Western dishes to made-to-order noodle stations, baked goods, fresh fruits, desserts, and drinks – everything was available. Ingredients were fresh, and items were replenished promptly. Every morning's breakfast was incredibly satisfying. Furthermore, the hotel's deli is also worth mentioning. Their baked goods, desserts, and light meals are all high-quality and wonderfully fragrant. It's perfect for grabbing a little treat when you have some downtime, with a rich selection and delicious flavors. Throughout my stay, whether it was the front desk, housekeeping, or dining staff, everyone was courteous and provided meticulous service. Any issues that arose were actively and appropriately resolved. The overall service standard truly lives up to the Kempinski brand. I highly recommend this hotel for both business trips and short getaways. I will definitely choose Kempinski Hotel Beijing Yansha again on my next visit!

Despite being in a bustling area, it's surprisingly quiet. The overall design has a light luxury vibe, creating a wonderful ambiance. The lobby has a sophisticated scent, and the rooms are clean with no strange odors, plus the soundproofing is excellent. All rooms are equipped with smart amenities, and the Sealy mattress is soft and aids sleep. The bathroom features a dry/wet separation and high-quality toiletries, and the mini-bar drinks are complimentary. The front desk staff are efficient and enthusiastic, and housekeeping is meticulous and attentive. The breakfast buffet offers a rich variety of both Chinese and Western options. There's also a 24-hour gym and self-service laundry room, covering all needs for both shopping and travel, ensuring comfort and convenience. My stay was perfect, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Sanlitun.

This hotel is located in a residential complex. There's paid parking available right outside. It's about a 2-kilometer walk to Sanlitun, and there are plenty of restaurants within a 1-kilometer radius. The room was spacious, bright, and comfortable, and the bedding was quite cozy. The bathroom was also a good size. The service was warm and attentive.

I'm a returning guest. I stayed here for a month in 2021, and with the US Embassy right across the street, security is definitely not a concern. It's less than a ten-minute walk to Liangmaqiao subway station, making it very convenient to get to many places. This time, I came to visit the Beijing Auto Show and decided to stay here again. There are plenty of dining options nearby on Xiaoyun Road or Liangmaqiao Road, making the overall location very convenient. Hanting's service has always been excellent; the housekeepers and front desk staff are all friendly and welcoming. I didn't take many photos, especially since it's a sensitive area with armed police, so it's best not to take pictures near the hotel. I'll just share a few photos of the surroundings and the auto show.

First off, the location is fantastic and super convenient. It's just a 3-stop subway ride from Beijing Chaoyang Station, and then a straight walk of less than 200 meters – I almost walked past it! It's also very close to Sanlitun, an easy stroll away. Secondly, the service was good; check-in was smooth, and the cleaning staff (Ayi) was lovely. Thirdly, the facilities are comprehensive. The fridge is a summer essential, the air conditioning works great, and the shower head is decent. I forgot to request a room not at the end of the hall when I booked, and sure enough, that's exactly where I ended up. The soundproofing isn't great; I was worried my 'Xiao Du' (smart speaker) would get activated by the young lady next door calling hers. I'm not sure if it's because it's on the ground floor, but the bathroom had a musty smell, and there were occasional small flying insects. The blackout curtains aren't the best, but thankfully I'm a good sleeper. Overall, for late June in Beijing, I'd say it offers good value for money.

The hotel also provides shuttle services, ensuring hassle-free travel. Summary: If you're looking to experience a unique cultural atmosphere and excellent service, Beijing Palace International Hotel is an outstanding choice! I've already recommended it to friends and will definitely stay here again.
