"A welcoming staff, a very nice hotel situated in the heart of the city, near walking distance from local attractions. Very clean environment; a nice breakfast offer. Room was a bit on the small side; price a bit on the high side. A very good place for a night or weekend."

📍 Rua Doutor Afonso Costa, 24, Beja

"The rooms are simple and spacious with modern decoration. Located in the heart of the old city. The breakfast has local produts and a variety of options. Overall a good stay in Alentejo. The bed mattress is very uncomfortable. It makes a whole and leans to middle of the bed. I would advise to replace the mattress to improve the quality of sleeping."

📍 Herdade da Figueirinha, Santa Vitoria e Mombeja

"The Hotel is for kids, designed for kids, and with kids in their mind… taking this into consideration, it was a very cool and funny experience for my 2 daughters, aged 8 and 6. They had a blast. Special thanks for @TioBolinha, @TioZeca and @TiaAriel, among the remaining team, they made the experience outstanding for the kids."

"Sympathy at the reception at each entrance and exit.A varied breakfast with fruit, cereals, juices, milk and vegetable drinks, eggs, bacon, cold meat. The rooms have been renovated and have a minimalist decoration that allows perfect hygiene and the bathroom. Excellent air conditioning and the existence of a refrigerator. Excellent quality/price ratio. We recommend!! "

📍 Av. Fialho de Almeida S/N, Beja

"It's a nice hotel with a great choice of breakfast items. Lovely spacious room with a balcony. Comfortable bed and linen. This hotel is about a 15-minute walk into the centre. The hotel is situated on a roundabout, so expect some road noise. It had a bar area which was nice."

Pousada Convento de Beja – Historic Hotel ★★★★
"This is one of the best Pousadas we have stayed at. It is magnificent and very spacious, having a small number of bedrooms but huge spacious areas. Well done Pestana on not ruining the magnificence of the building while creating an exceptionally comfortable, indeed luxurious, hotel. The bedrooms are the old monks's cells (Yes although it is called a convent, it was Franciscan monks who stayed here). We stayed on the second floor and had a huge vaulted ceiling so the room remained remarkably cool despite it being 30C outside. The breakfasts were super reflecting some of the local produce. Beja is very much worth a visit. It is unpretentious but contains an amazing array of wee museums that are worth visiting. We will certainly return."

HI Beja - Pousada de Juventude ★★
"The staff were very helpful; we asked them for help because we didn't know how to use the equipment, and they gave us a hands-on demonstration, which put our minds at ease. The location is a bit far from the old town. It's a relatively inexpensive place to stay while traveling. Its advantage is that it's very close to the bus station."

Guest House Stories ★★★

"We had a good time. The staff was very nice, and the variety of stuff to do and the surrounding nature is beautiful. The carnaval program for the kids between hotels was great! The rooms could be improved. The food and drinks were very nice! And the entertainer “Uncle Bolinha” was for sure the highlight! Also the proximity to the storks is great."

BejaParque Hotel ★★★★
"Location is good if you travel by car because of free parking and it's 15-20 min walking to the town center (3-5 min by car). The room was quite big and in pretty good conditions. But there weren't some amenities you expect in a 4 star hotel like slippers, bathrobe or kettle/coffeemaker. Bed and pillows were good. Buffet breakfast was typical (cheeses, hams, eggs, cereals, pastries, fruits) except for lack of vegetables. If you don't want to have an unexpected visit of a housemaid at 9-10 o'clock in the morning (without _any_ warnings like knocking on door or questions) use "do not disturb" sign!"
