"Aside from its slightly remote location from public transportation and nearby supermarkets like Target, Burlington, and Walmart, and the fact that the nearest bus stop even closes on weekends, having a car is strongly recommended. The rest of the hotel was excellent. For example, the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, greatly enhancing the positive experience. The fact that the main door was locked from 10 PM to 10 PM and only guests and staff were allowed access also significantly improved the sense of security. While the room was a bit cramped, there was still ample room to open a 32-inch suitcase, so it wasn't a major issue. The room was very clean, with slippers and enough power switches provided. However, the lack of daily room service was a slight drawback."

"Chrysalis Inn and Spa is exactly what one envisions as the perfect experience in every way.  We had the Full Bay water view room with fireplace and extra large window seat which really added to the ambiance.  The bathroom slide away wall offered a water view even from the bathtub.  Keenan’s on the Pier restaurant within the Inn was so convenient for room service with excellent menu.  Walking distance to cute village of Fairhaven was fun for shopping and exercise as well as the boardwalk over the water out front of Inn.  We’ll return again and again. "
