"Great 4* hotel in the middle of the old town, next to the Plaza Nueva (pintxo bar area). You will recognize the age of the hotel inside of a room (stains on wall, conditions of the furnitures), but it is ok, especially if you find a great offer. If you want a bigger room, choose the Space room, with overlooking to Nervión river and the theatre square right at the entrance of the hotel."

"We stayed at this hotel for one night, without breakfast. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the train and bus stations, close to the old town. Other sights are also within walking distance. We didn't use public transportation to explore the city, only taking the metro to the Vizcaya Bridge (which we used to cross the river). The metro, by the way, is also a 7-10-minute walk away. The room is small. There's absolutely no soundproofing. When I read about it in the reviews, I couldn't even imagine it being so bad. You can hear every noise from your neighbors. It's okay for one night, but I wouldn't recommend it for a longer stay. There's no kettle in the room, but you can ask at reception. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The WiFi is good. Bilbao is a very interesting city, and I highly recommend visiting it."

"The room was clean, tidy, and fully equipped. It's conveniently located opposite the stadium, close to the Maritime Museum, Art Museum, and Guggenheim Museum, and next to a park and plaza. The service was excellent; the front desk staff were very welcoming and booked my room in advance, easing the fatigue of my long flight. I wanted to try the food, but I overslept and didn't have time, though the pictures and dishes looked very appealing."

"Very good breakfast # central but quiet at night# single room can be tight but nicely furnished # was taken by surprise when checking out was told I had to pay as I had a voucher which stated I had paid # strange that some receptionists don't do their job well and check the details # left you a sour face"

"It was a pretty satisfying stay. Internet is very good and the bed/chair are comfortable. Check in was easily arranged too and there was no issues. Minor negative is that the room is too dark and there is no fridge. - However I guess that is expected with the price. Most annoyingly this is the first ever hotel I have been where they restrict the internet! Even worse they have the cheek to block certain VPN protocols. Pathetic, too need to use a VPN to fully use the internet! Nanny hotel!"

"It was a reservation on the day, but I am grateful that I was able to check in smoothly. There were many places to eat dinner around and it was convenient. The next day, it was early morning check-out but it was smooth and I was able to pick up a taxi immediately. Thank you very much"
