"We had a pleasant stay at Royal Tulip Gunung Geulis. Overall, it was a great experience, especially for families with kids. Our children absolutely loved the swimming pools and spent most of their time there, which made the trip even more enjoyable. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, making us feel well taken care of throughout our stay. There are just a couple of areas that could be improved. The cleanliness of the room could be better, as we noticed a few details that needed more attention. The TV in the room also felt a bit small compared to the room size and could be upgraded for a more comfortable viewing experience. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely consider coming back, especially because the kids had such a wonderful time."

"This was my first time staying at Royal Tulip, as I saw many kid activities on social media. Overall, it was actually quite good, although at first I was a bit surprised that the parking area is quite far from the hotel. Even though a shuttle is provided, it does take some time. For breakfast, you also have to use the shuttle, which can be a bit inconvenient if you have children/babies, even though the restaurant area has a really great view. PROS: 1. The views from the room, pool, breakfast area, etc. are amazing. 2. Most of the food at the restaurant is delicious, and the coffee selection is quite comprehensive. 3. There's a balcony in the room. 4. The pool area is spacious, and the family pool is child-friendly. 5. The staff's hospitality is outstanding. CONS: 1. The parking area and breakfast are quite far, requiring a shuttle. 2. The room cleanliness could be better. 3. The most annoying thing was being in room 205, where the balcony is close to the road. Every time a motorbike passed by, especially at night, it was very audible, which disturbed my sleep. 4. At night, areas with many stairs have very minimal lighting, posing a safety risk. However, overall, my family and I were quite satisfied and impressed."

"The playground is great, really spacious, but unfortunately, the sand excavator wasn't working. The pool isn't very big, and it really should have a bubble pool. According to the schedule, it should have been open from 4-5 PM, but it only ran for 30 minutes. The bathroom feels a bit old. Many of the showerheads on the second floor were clogged, so water only came out of a few nozzles. The shower on the first floor didn't have any hot water. The restaurant service was a bit slow."

"It seems that the 5-star status of the hotel is questionable due to the following issues: Check-in took approximately 1 hour, with only 2 customer service representatives working while 2 other desks were empty during check-in time. The lobby/check-in waiting area was crowded with other guests, luggage scattered around, and children running around, making the lobby feel like a playground. Welcome drink glasses were left scattered everywhere, with no staff ensuring the area was clean and tidy. I stayed in room 441, which did not feel like a 5-star hotel room. Despite the old design that should look luxurious, it felt more like a 3-star hotel room. There were many ants on the table, bed, and in the bathroom. An unpleasant odor persisted throughout my 2-day stay. Toiletries were only provided upon request, such as the missing bath mat. There were visible stains on the sofa in the room. etc..."
