The hotel's location is pretty good, making it convenient to get around. The lobby is exquisitely decorated and offers self-service drinking water. The front desk staff are enthusiastic and welcoming. The room space is a bit small, and there's a construction site nearby. Although the windows are soundproofed, it still affected my sleep in the mornings. For an Atour hotel in China, paying over 1000 RMB per night, I personally don't think it offers great value for money. After staying for two nights, I moved to the Four Seasons nearby on Sunday. For just over 900 RMB, it was superior in every aspect.

The room facilities were great, and the location was absolutely perfect – just a 5-minute walk to international departures. The hotel front desk staff, however, were quite unfriendly; this might have been due to my English not being very fluent.

This hotel is ideal for catching early morning flights. Sydney international departures are incredibly busy in the mornings; I woke up at 6 AM and already saw traffic building up.

It took almost half an hour from leaving the hotel to checking in my luggage. After that, I only had enough time to quickly browse duty-free before boarding.

We stayed in the Rydges World Square family room for three nights and had a very comfortable experience. The two-bedroom layout was spacious, clean, though sharing a single bathroom among four adult was a minor inconvenience. A thoughtful gesture from the hotel made our stay even more special—they surprised my son with chocolate treats and a birthday card upon check-in, which we truly appreciated.

The location is excellent, close to many attractions, and the convenience of having a shopping mall right downstairs with restaurants and a supermarket added to the ease of our stay. Overall, it was a delightful and comfortable experience.

The biggest highlight of Capitol Hotel is definitely its location—10/10! It’s right in Chinatown and within walking distance of plenty of restaurants, shops, and public transport, making it a great base for exploring the city.

The room was quite small, but it was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

The room was spotless and came with a kitchenette. Housekeeping diligently replaced amenities daily. The location is fantastic; it's just a 10-minute walk to Chinatown, the train station, or the light rail. We stayed in a double room with an extra bed. While the kitchenette was a nice touch, it lacked sufficient cooking utensils, and the stovetop's orientation made it a bit awkward to use. However, overall, we were very satisfied with the environment and service.

First, the negatives. About half an hour after we checked in, a male staff member swiped his card and opened our room door. He said he was delivering hangers, but we hadn't requested any, so perhaps they were meant for another room and delivered by mistake. It was quite a shock regardless. I didn't report it to the staff during my stay, but afterwards, I made sure to double-lock the door every time I entered the room (before, I only locked it at night).

Now, for the positives. The location is excellent, very close to Central Station with many bus and light rail options nearby, making getting around super convenient. I stayed on the eighth floor, and while I could still hear traffic noise at night, which was a bit loud, the room's soundproofing was otherwise good, as I couldn't hear any noise from next door. The room was also very spacious, with a fridge and a safe. Overall, I recommend it.

I thoroughly enjoyed my overnight stay at Rudy’s North Sydney. The lovely man who checked me into the Hotel was so helpful. The following morning the host of the breakfast restaurant was also very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again. Rooms are renovated with nice products.

Rydges Camperdown is about a few seconds walk from Parramatta Rd Bus stop so getting around is no problem, I actually cancelled my car rental and was glad I did because of this but incase you do bring a car there is normally parking along the front and even below. the room is very nice and quiet even if you’re close to the elevator, the interior is very clean and provides all the essentials you need for a good stay. Next time I come back to Sydney I’m definitely booking again.

Hotel is easy to find, but there’s nothing in the neighbourhood—you’ll need to drive to get anywhere.
The bathroom amenities are very basic.
Breakfast is not worth $36—you only get instant coffee, which is very disappointing.
The sofa bed is only suitable for small kids, not for adults. You can feel the springs when sitting on it, and the mattress is very thin.

The location of the accommodation and the 24-hour response were good, but the housekeeper did not clean it properly, and even though we asked for a body shower from a day ago until that morning, it was still not filled when we came in after going out.

The hotel is located right inside the airport, which is super convenient if you're just transiting through Wellington. The room facilities are comparable to a typical budget hotel in China. Breakfast is your classic Western spread – bread, bacon, eggs, and baked beans. You can watch planes take off and land at Wellington Airport from the restaurant.

Location-wise, it's right by Wellington train station, making it a great choice if you're arriving by train or heading to London.

Facilities: They're quite old. The air conditioning was one of those large, vintage units I'd never seen before, and it was incredibly noisy, so I just turned it off. The room had a microwave and cutlery, and surprisingly, a mini-bar – which you usually don't find in hotels at this price point. However, there was a snag: no price list for the mini-bar. While I knew the bottled water in the fridge wouldn't be free, I was still surprised to be charged $7 upon checkout (when a similar bottle is around $2.50 at the supermarket).

Service: The downstairs restaurant has long operating hours. I was able to order a delicious burger after a late check-in, and grab a coffee and a pastry to go during an early checkout. Most of my positive impression comes from that restaurant.

Traveling to Rotorua with my parents and child this time, staying at Rydges was definitely the warmest highlight of our entire trip! The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and professional. When they noticed we had elderly family members and a young child, they thoughtfully upgraded our room for free! The upgraded room was very spacious, making it easy for my parents to move around, and giving my child plenty of space to play. The beds were super comfortable. The best part was the hotel's geothermal heated pool/hot springs. After a day of activities, taking the whole family for a dip washed away my parents' aches and pains, and my child absolutely loved playing in the water. Many thanks to the Rydges Rotorua team for their high level of hospitality and human touch. Next time we visit Rotorua, we will definitely choose to stay here again!

I stayed at this hotel recently. The location is excellent — very convenient and close to transportation and restaurants. However, the breakfast buffet was just average, nothing special. Also, the room wasn’t as clean as I expected; it could have been better maintained. Overall, it’s a convenient place to stay if location is your main priority, but the cleanliness and breakfast quality could use some improvement.
