"We’ve stayed at Atlantis several times, it’s definitely one of our regular places when visiting Melbourne. It’s not fancy, but it has everything you need, including essential amenities and a smart TV, and we were happy to see they’ve recently done some renovations. The location is excellent, with the free tram at the doorstep and Southern Cross Station nearby. The underground parking is very convenient, offering access for early arrivals, after check-out, and multiple entries. The hotel has facilities including a gym, pool, and sauna, though we didn’t use them. Security feels solid with the police station across the road, and check-in and check-out were quick, easy, and friendly."

"Great location. A bit of hiccups on the check-in. Couldn't enter the front door as it was locked before 9am, rang the doorbell several times but no response. Was let in eventually after we made a phone call to the front desk. Very basic amenities, no hairdryer. The shower setup is a little odd as it has no proper door, so the floor gets wet every time after we take a shower. Weird odour when we turned on the heater, also smelled something akin to pees near the room entrance on our last night."

"The hotel's hygiene is excellent, and the lobby is spacious and bright. There are plenty of elevators, so even during peak hours, you don't wait long. The rooms are also spacious with beautiful window views; one side should offer a clear view of the river connecting the North and South banks, perfect for watching New Year's fireworks. Housekeeping is arranged from the third day of your stay, and they do a thorough and clean job. Overall, I'm very satisfied, although the location is a bit far from the CBD and Melbourne's main attractions. However, once you cross to the North Bank, you're not far from the tram free zone, which makes up for it. 👍👍👍"

"It was very clean and nice! The heated pool was right in front of me, which made me feel like I was staying in a hotel overseas, which was also nice. There were no slippers or bathrobes. I went there after 10:00 to leave my luggage, but I was able to check in. It's in the Fitzroy area, so it's a little far from the city center, but I thought it would be a great place to explore the Fitzroy area."

"The staff member who checked me in was incredibly friendly, and there was a welcome drink too! The room was spacious, very new, and the bed was super comfortable. The soundproofing was also excellent. The location is absolutely fantastic. The breakfast was nutritious and had plenty of options: fried eggs, bacon, sausages, fried noodles, various breads, fruits, milk, yogurt, cereal, hot chocolate, juice, and coffee. This was by far the most satisfying stay of my trip to Australia."

"This hotel boasts a great location, being very close to the train station and shopping malls. The cleanliness, however, might be a matter of personal opinion. What truly impressed me was their problem-solving attitude. As is common with most Australian hotels, check-out is typically at 10:00 AM and check-in at 2:00 PM. But when I checked out on the 12th, I saw a family from Inner Mongolia traveling – their child, tired from an overnight flight, had fallen asleep on the lobby sofa. After explaining the situation to the front desk, they immediately arranged for the family to check in early. This kind of flexible handling, based on real circumstances and prioritizing needs over status, is truly commendable. 👍"

"Exceeded my expectations! The service attitude, room facilities, and even the free shuttle bus to the airport were all fantastic! If you're looking for a hotel near Melbourne Airport, I highly recommend staying at Mantra. (The rooms were also newer and bigger than I imagined, which was a pleasant surprise! The front desk staff were super friendly too – so much better than the Mantra at Sydney Airport 🙇)"

"This is an old-school hotel that opened in 1913, and its original design aimed to match the luxury of London. The hotel lobby is absolutely stunning. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient with check-in. The elevator hall has a simple, vintage charm. The room itself isn't large, but as you explore, you find thoughtful amenities like slippers and toothbrushes, and other facilities cleverly hidden in well-designed cabinets. Everything looks quite nice when revealed. The bed was very comfortable, and the duvet wasn't too thin. My window faced an internal courtyard wall, so there wasn't really a view, even on the 8th or 9th floor. However, this also meant the hotel was very quiet. The shower only had a half-screen, so water tended to splash near the toilet. You need to be a bit careful when showering. The sink was small but deep, likely custom-made to fit the compact room. Overall, the design and layout are quite reasonable, providing necessary facilities within limited space. I purchased breakfast when I booked, and I remember it wasn't expensive, though it usually costs a bit more if you book it at the hotel. The breakfast spread wasn't very generous, and there were no live cooking stations. It was, at best, on par with a three-star town hotel's breakfast; I didn't even see boiled eggs. Surprisingly, though, they offered congee (rice porridge) with toppings like pork floss, seaweed, and dried anchovies, giving it a Southeast Asian twist. A little later, I saw Singapore Airlines flight attendants come down for breakfast, and it all made sense then – catering to a specific market need. Even though there wasn't a huge variety, they did offer gluten-free bread and banana cake. My friend said the croissants were terrible, looking like reheated frozen items. The breakfast staff also seemed visibly tired and a bit impatient, which is understandable considering breakfast starts at 6:30 AM. Despite the limited selection, I ate a lot that day, and the individual items were quite tasty."

"everything it’s okay, but this time receptionist i get is not friendly and not smile to me and look me like don’t know anything🥲it’s make me feel uncomfortable after that because she…i remember it’s a women and she name is DAISY , please improve your attitude towards guests especially the name i mentioned it. Don’t treat guests like that, Manger please Tell your staff named DAISY to be friendly and smile at the guests, don't look at the guests who don't know anything and you treat them like trash, before that I was treated well at the reception and went for the second time now oh no I got a guest server like that and ruined my mood.🥲. "We had a great stay! The hotel was very clean, and the location is excellent its djust a short walk to QV and Emporium Melbourne. Valet parking was available for $40 overnight, which was convenient. Our stay also included a buffet breakfast, which was a nice bonus. Would definitely book here again!"
