"I book this hotel every time I come to an exhibition. The hotel is very close to the exhibition center and you can walk there. The transportation is convenient and the environment is very good. There is a light rail outside the door that can go directly to the cathedral. It is very convenient"

"The hotel is right next to Cologne Central Station; you step out and it's there. From the room, you can see Cologne Cathedral, allowing you to fully experience Cologne day and night. Being near the station, all kinds of amenities are very convenient. The hotel lobby even preserves a brick from 1979. The breakfast has a rich selection of cheeses – a cheese lover's dream! German beer is truly delicious. "The room was spacious, the price was reasonable, and the bed was wide and very soft—girls would probably love it. Those who can't sleep on a soft bed might want to reconsider. The breakfast was much better than other places we'd been to. There were two large supermarkets nearby, just a few minutes' walk away."

"Built in 1999, the hotel has an older design but is well-functioning. We booked a room with a church view, which was spacious. However, the bathroom only offered a 3-in-1 shampoo/conditioner/body wash, which doesn't quite meet the standards of similarly priced hotels in the city. A rather interesting feature is the grand lobby; at first glance, I thought it was a shopping mall! The piano bar on the first floor had a great atmosphere in the evening, until we realized the music seemed to be from a speaker and not actually played by a person, haha (or maybe the pianist had just finished their shift when we passed by)."

"Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden mit dem Aufenthalt. Der Check-In verlief problemlos - allerdings ist die offizielle Check-In um 16 Uhr relativ spät. Wir hatten Glück, dass unser Zimmer eine Stunde früher fertig war.
Das Hauptgebäude und die Zimmer sind einwandfrei sauber und modern. Alles passt optisch zum Motto Motorsport - wirklich sehr gelungen. Auch die Zimmergestaltung schloss sich dem Design an - leider hatten wir kein Bett in Auto-Optik - das wäre die Krönung gewesen. Auch konnte man die Betten nicht so gut in Einzelbetten trennen, da durch die Nachttische der Platz begrenzt war.
Sehr toll ist das tiptop saubere Bad, vor allem die Dusche. Sehr wasserdicht und eine schöne Größe.
Straßenlärm hört man kaum, sehr ruhige, modern Gegend mit Restaurants und dem Auto-Museum direkt daneben. Es gibt auch einen schönen Spielplatz in direkt Nähe ebenso wie die Straßenbahnhaltestelle (S5 IKEA Butzweilerhof). Ein großer Parkplatz ist ebenso vorhanden. Also alles in allem eine sehr praktische Lage!"

"The room was nice and clean however, there is no fridge in the room.
The aircon was not working, when we tried to call the reception multiple times to help us fix the issue but no one pick up even though we called multiple times.
The parking lot is at the mainbuilding and we stayed in the other building which is across the street and doesn't have the reception desk.
It says there is parking provided but you still have to pay 23 euro for 24 hours. In the end they waived this for us since the aircon didn't work and they didn't fix it.
The coffee provided was nice.
The hotel is quite in the night but during the day there was some construction noice since there are some renovations going on around in the area."

GGuest UserThis time I stayed in a room facing a quiet street. Last time, I stayed in a room facing Cologne Cathedral, and the noise from the street at night was quite loud. Although the quiet street lacks the beautiful view, it offers a peaceful night. Recommended!

GGuest UserIt's located across from Cologne Cathedral, and looks spectacular lit up at night. The room was very spacious and comfortable. I was happy to have free water in the room, but perhaps because Germany is an environmentally advanced country, it was bottled water rather than plastic bottles. It's inconvenient to carry around, but it was enough for making tea in the room.
If I had to say something negative, it would be that you have to cross a bridge to get to Cologne Cathedral and the station, but you have to go down a flight of stairs to get to the hotel entrance. It was a bit inconvenient to go up and down with a suitcase.

DDdawidsonThe hotel is just by the Rhein river and next to the Chocolate museum. Walk slowly along the river towards the Cathedral and soak in the beauty of Koln.
The staff Kyra is very friendly and helpful, throughout our 2-week trip in Europe, she was on my top 1.
The size of the room is great with a pretty large wash basin outside the toilet, so it is very convenient.
The room comes with a kettle, a complimentary bottle of sparkling water, 2pcs of mini chocolate, a few packets of coffee and tea. For less than 100euro a night, this is a very nice touch.
In the lobby there are water station and fruit basket.
Really love this hotel.

Small supermarkets and small eateries are nearby, making daily groceries and meals convenient. The room was of moderate size, spacious enough for a single occupancy but a bit cramped for a double. The furniture and furnishings showed some signs of use, but were generally clean and tidy, and the bedding was perfectly soft, ensuring a pleasant sleep. The bathroom had a nice, dry/wet area with a reliable hot water supply. The toiletries were basic, but those with skincare needs are advised to bring their own. Regarding service, the front desk staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful. Check-in and check-out were both prompt and helpful. They patiently answered questions about directions to attractions, but they didn't proactively offer any extra touches (such as local recommendations or extended luggage storage). Breakfast is a simple buffet with basic items like bread, ham, eggs, coffee, and juice. The taste is quite satisfactory and can satisfy your hunger, but those who seek a richer meal may find it a bit monotonous. MM235150****1. I booked a two-night stay and asked for an extra key card since my camera was charging in the room. However, the key card they gave me was only valid for one day, so I had to go back to the front desk to get it reactivated. What I found odd was that the receptionist asked for my ID, which I didn't have on me (my passport). Even though I could tell her my room number and my name, she wouldn't accept it and insisted on seeing an electronic version of my passport. I found that a bit hard to understand.
2. As a Marriott frequent guest, I usually don't write reviews, but I felt this needed to be said. For a global chain like Marriott, I found the breakfast selection to be good enough for my needs. However, the lady at the egg station seemed to have a very indifferent attitude, didn't want to engage much, and had a straight face. I understand that not everyone can be overly friendly, but then a European woman walked up behind me, and suddenly the egg station lady was all smiles and said, 'Have a good day, Madam.' This really made me question her service attitude. Was it a coincidence? I'm not sure.

SSebastianThe location of the Adina Hotel is very good. It is close to the train station, very convenient, and at the same time surprisingly quiet, which I really appreciated.
What I liked most is that the room is well equipped for a longer stay. Having a full-sized fridge, a washing machine, and basic cooking facilities makes a big difference and adds a lot of comfort. The gym is perfectly fine, and there is also a swimming pool, which is a nice bonus. Overall, I was quite happy staying here for an extended period.
There are a few downsides though. Housekeeping is supposed to happen every three days, but in reality it is quite irregular and unpredictable. Sometimes it does not happen at all unless you actively ask for it, which is a bit annoying. There is an app to request services, but unfortunately it did not work properly during my stay. Breakfast is okay but very basic and repetitive. The selection was exactly the same every day over two weeks, which gets boring quickly.
In general, it is a good hotel for a longer stay, especially if you value space and self-service facilities, but there is room for improvement in housekeeping consistency and breakfast variety.

GGuest UserStruggled to get through to the hotel as the phone number on the app used to make booking was in correct. The hotel is easy to find and transport links from the airport I give a 10/10 plus connection to the city was super easy. Upon arrival, the service desk staff were pleasant and apologised. Finally checked in and the room was clean and well done. However, my room was facing the major road and extremely noisy during the entire stay as the road is a busy one.
Ordered a late dinner and disappointed with my under done beef patty, the bun it came with required an electric knife to get through. I did complain and an apology was given.
Now, the hotel room doors bang whenever they’re being closed and made my stay unbearable. Something definitely needs to be done as I was put off!! Before retiring to bed, I hung the notice to not be disturbed..alas! the following morning after breakfast I just wanted to have a quiet time but I was rudely interrupted, disturbed coupled with the loud doors as the cleaners went about their inspections 2 x in a space of 10 minutes.
I would have loved to stay here on future visits but it’s a NO!!
The breakfast was lovely, sauna and swimming pool facilities too. I did not use the gym. Otherwise it’s in a good safe location.

GGuest UserIt’s a lovely and convenient hotel. With everything located nearby, it allows visitors to easily get around the city and all the popular spots. It is especially just a short walk away from the new market and all the neighbouring restaurants, bars, and it is connected to the famous Cologne Cathedral and train stations. In a word, I am very satisfied with my three - day stay.

DDr.HeinkeI could forgive ten points for service. I would have chosen the hotel with the thermal to celebrate my birthday with my family there. We arrived too early but we were allowed to check in yet. We were very premature and friendly serviced in the restaurant and when they found my birthday is coming or even decorate a table extra. All in all was the food also very good the thermal was sensational. We had a wonderful time and thank you very much.
