"I traveled as a solo female traveler, and unfortunately, only one out of three nights was peaceful. I want to warn others about several management and safety issues I encountered here. On Trip.com, only mixed dorms were available.The platform lists two types of 6-bed dorms: one explicitly labeled 'Mixed Gender' (which I booked) and another generic '6-Bed Dormitory Room' without any gender indication. Since there was no 'Female-only' option, I assumed these were essentially the same thing. I ended up alone in a room with three men, which felt quite unsafe and intimidating. My sleep was constantly interrupted by loud neighbors and the person in the bunk below me shaking the bed all night When I requested a move to a female dorm or a more balanced mixed room the next morning, the staff was unhelpful. They claimed they couldn't move me because I hadn't booked through their website, even though female beds were available!! They initially demanded I pay the full price again for the next two nights. After contacting Trip.com support, the hostel still refused to cooperate. Eventually, a more reasonable receptionist helped resolve the issue peacefully. On my last night, a large group of school students arrived. They were incredibly loud, and it took over an hour after ”quiet hours” began for teachers and staff to finally calm them down. Be aware of this. Cleanliness: Rooms are relatively clean. Self-Service: You must make your own bed, which is very difficult if you are assigned a top bunk. Extra Costs: Towels are not included and cost 1.9€. Payment: They are strictly card-only. Pros: There is free hot water at reception, a luggage room, and the location is conveniently close to the Campo di Marte station. If you are a solo female traveler, be aware that management might prioritize profit over your safety and comfort :)"

"I was very pleased with my stay. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and even let us check in early. A nice bonus was the free ice available on the ground floor. Overall, I'm very satisfied. The room was well-equipped with a fridge and a hairdryer, and the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of most attractions."

"The service of front line staff and the restaurant were pleasant. The location is not bad but need to pay attention when going back the hotel in night time. I would like to thank the waitress captain at the restaurant to introduce authentic Italian food and wine for dinner."

"Despite being a 3-star hotel, it's one of the rare hotels where you can receive 5-star service, breakfast, and attention. We extend our sincere thanks to the young lady at the reception desk who addressed and resolved our issues from the moment we arrived; to Antonio and Maddelena, who worked tirelessly in the dining room, keeping the breakfast variety fresh and vibrant, turning it into a feast that satisfied our eyes, hearts, and stomachs; and to the cleaning staff who meticulously took care of our room and addressed any deficiencies. They made us feel more like we were at home than in a hotel. The hotel's proximity to the city center and tram station also makes accessing everything very easy. You can reach the hotel from the train station by tram in 5 stops, and you can also walk to the nice restaurants and sights in the city center. We definitely recommend it to families and groups of friends visiting Florence."

"I think it's great, but there are more bugs in this weather. But they all follow the light, so in fact, as long as you turn on the bathroom light and turn off the bedroom light, your bedroom will be quite quiet. Highly recommended. The location is super good. You won't waste a lot of time on transportation. The attractions are very close. Remember to leave your mobile number if you use WhatsApp, otherwise you won't be able to contact. The location is on the third floor of the address. You can take the small elevator up. They will use WhatsApp to send check-in information and access code"

"The hotel is only 5 minutes away from the Santa Maria Novella Station. Lift is available to go upstairs. The room is quite alike with the city environment. The room is very clean. The showering space is one-men-fit size. The water is powerful and warm enough for winter. However, there is a hole on the ceiling which I believe is left from the renovation work. I think some of the visitors may be concerned of the hole due to someone may possibly put cameras in it. Overall, the room is quite good."

"The location is perfect 👍🏻 very close to all the beautiful places in the historic part of the city! Please make sure that you check in online prior arrival to avoid extra charges. It’s easy and takes around 2-3 minutes of your time. The front desk staff speaks English very well. The rooms are spacious with 2 fans for comfortable sleep at night and huge lockers to store your belongings securely (the key provided by check in and it’s included in the price). There are comfortable beds with clean bed sheets and a decent pillow. Bring your own towel though, or you need to pay for one at the front desk. The bathroom is modern but not clean enough to give 5 stars. Also, there is toilet paper but no soap. As for the kitchen, it’s partially equipped, cooking might be a bit challenging but has a big modern fridge. There is a spacious dine in area and you can enjoy your meal in the garden outside. Overall, it was a nice stay for me, thank you very much!"

"Three of us booked two rooms, one for my parents and one for me. Both rooms unbelievably had issues. For my parents' room, you literally had to *slam* the door open – no kidding, you read that right, *slam* it. The card key wouldn't work initially, so we called a staff member. She swiped her card, leaned into the door with all her strength, and it popped open. I ended up having to use my arm to slam it open three or four times myself. This was room 312. My room was even more ridiculous; the showerhead holder completely broke off when I turned on the water, so the stream just shot directly out of the wall, and the mirror was filthy. The hotel didn't fix it that night, saying they'd come in the morning, and there was no apology. What are the odds that both rooms would have problems? My room was 109. I find it hard to believe this wasn't some form of discrimination against Asians... And this is supposed to be a four-star hotel, with a city tax of 7 euros per person per night. What a rip-off, the experience was just terrible."

"Conveniently located, 5 mins walk from the train station, but not very noisy which is nice. My room had a little balcony. But I gotta say, as a newly opened hotel and an IHG group hotel, I was very disappointed. First, I found a used bandage stuck on my “clean” towel, and the bathroom was poorly designed , with the half screen on the bathtub , I guarantee you would get water everywhere on the floor no matter how careful you are when taking a shower. The hotel & room is stylish, but as a hotel of 2 years old (according to the internet, the hotel opened in 2023), the bathroom is badly maintained , broken faucet which was temporarily fixed, rusts and stains everywhere, i guess also because of the poor selection of materials when it was designed, this all makes it look like a 20 year old hotel. The first morning I had breakfast, I went really early, it was nice and quiet, I thought the spread was good and not bad in taste & quality. But the 2nd morning I went at 9ish, tables were not cleaned , the hash browns were rock-hard. And we saw other guests having different breakfast items that were not in the buffet, so I asked the staff if there were other options, and not until then we were told each guests can order 1 item each from the ala carte menu with no cost, we were not informed about this and I think guests deserves to know they have options… i guess that’s how they treat tourists ….. or just how they treat Asians….. so if you stay here, be sure to ask for the menu if you want alternatives for your breakfast."
