"The staff were all very nice, good, n professional. They never missed to wish me good morning, thank you, and good night everyday. The staff also kept saying sorry sorry sorry when i came earlier than check in time. The hotel was very clean, complete amenities, and located in a quite strategic location. "It was my first time in hokkaido. I originally booked first 2 nights for staying in sapporo before I go to another city. And then came back to sapporo to stay here for last one night in hokkaido. Staff were friendly and helpful. I asked them for keeping my luggage at the day I leave to another city so I can travel freely, and they didn’t hesitate to help me. But what impressed me the most was that I experienced an earthquake while staying here. The hotel has excellent guest care. The staff are kind and helped open the restaurant and provided drinks while guests waited for security checks. And the next day when the train to another city was suspended due to the earthquake, I walked back to the hotel feeling hopeless at 7:00AM. I decided to book the room for an extra night and I told staff about my bad situation. And then surprisingly, without asking, they hurry check condition of the room and allow me to rest early before check-in time. I booked 2 different types of room and they are both comfy, very clean, and clearly well-maintained. I really like the scent of shower gel and liquid hand soap (I guess it’s the brand POLA. I see many hotels in Japan use this brand. Love it!)"

"This was the worst value-for-money hotel of my trip. I'm not sure what happened, but hotels in Sapporo and Otaru that Saturday were all several times more expensive than usual. A room that typically costs a few hundred yuan jumped to over 1700 yuan. Luckily, I checked before check-in and the price had dropped a bit. I spoke with Trip.com, and while the hotel wouldn't refund the difference, Trip.com did, for which I'm very grateful. It's a 10-minute walk with luggage, which would be tough if it were snowing. There are many other hotels in the area, so it's worth looking around."

"Traveling in early December, I chose the Crowne Plaza brand, and overall, the experience was quite good. The hotel's location is excellent; the Sapporo subway station's Exit 21 is right at its doorstep, and Tokyu Department Store is diagonally across. The airport limousine bus stops directly in front of the lobby, and it's the first stop, so departures are punctual, and you never have a problem finding a seat. The facilities are complete. There's a rooftop bar with special discount packages for guests. On the first floor, there's a 24-hour convenience store (it's great to be able to buy food at night in winter without needing a coat!), a bakery, a gym, and a craft beer shop. On the second floor, there's a souvenir shop where I found a cute ANA airplane charm. However, I wouldn't recommend the breakfast; there's nothing particularly unique to Hokkaido, and for the same price, you could get a fantastic seafood bowl at Nijo Market. Three of us stayed in a standard room with an extra bed. The room was genuinely small, only fitting two suitcases, and we had to open them on the bed. Despite the small size, ventilation was perfectly fine, and the bathroom facilities didn't show their age at all. If I come back to Sapporo again and the price is right, I might consider staying here."

"The hotel accommodation was highly recommended. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a pleasant and relaxing stay after a long day of sightseeing. The location was convenient, with less than 10 minutes underground pass access to JR Sapporo & metro stations and shopping malls Apia & Sapporo Stellar Place. The staff were friendly and always willing to help, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Amenities were well provided, and overall the hotel offered great value for money. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and would be happy to stay here again in the future."

"Located in Nakajima Park, it's easily accessible directly from New Chitose Airport via the airport shuttle bus, and the return pick-up point is conveniently right across the street from the hotel. The hotel breakfast offers both Japanese and buffet options, and both are delicious. Upon check-in, a bellhop escorted us to our room, helped with our luggage, and explained everything. Luggage storage is available, and for extended stays, our bags were already in the room upon our return. It really feels like you're staying right in Nakajima Park. Highly recommended!"

"I've stayed here multiple times already. The main advantage is its convenient location, being close to both the JR station and Odori Park. The room size is decent, and the cleanliness is good. I'll definitely stay here again."

"Good location. We were upgraded to a bigger room since the initially assigned room had a lingering cigarette smell. The new room was a suite good for 4 people (we are only 3) with bathtub, shampoo, conditioner, body/face/hand wash, towels, sleepwear, hair dryer, and tea. You can get bath salt near the front desk area for a perfect soak in the bath tub to suit your tired muscles. Comb, razor, and cotton with buds are also available near the front desk area. No parking available in front of the hotel but you may ask the front desk of discounted parking area. We paid 1,300 yen per day in advance at the hotel's front desk and we were given a parking ticket for our entire stay. Parking is around 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Breakfast spread is the same everyday. If you are allergic to cigarette smell, this hotel is not for you as hotel room corridors have lingering cigarette smell."

"Ideal location for foodies and shoppers! The location offers a safe and convenient environment with eateries, cafes, convenient stores, pharmacies and souvenir shops just a stone’s throw away. The hotel side door connects directly to Block 5 of Tanukikoji Shopping Street. It’s also near enough (within 1.5km) to walk to the Nijo fish market, Odori Park and Sapporo JR station."

"I meticulously chose this hotel after looking through many in Sapporo, and it offers excellent value for money. I selected a room on floors 15-17, and I was assigned one on the 17th, the highest floor. My corner room faces west, offering a panoramic view of the distant mountains and the lush greenery surrounding Hokkaido University. The other side faces south, where I could see the Ferris wheel 🎡 and the clock on the TV Tower 🗼. Every morning, waking up to the sight of green hills enveloped in white clouds, I felt so relaxed that I almost didn't want to leave the room. I could have visited the Hokkaido University Museum nearby, and even had a meal there, but I went on a holiday and couldn't get any food. Getting to JR Sapporo Station was very convenient, especially close to the North Exit. Even with my mobility issues, my local guide pulled me along from JR Station to the hotel, in the evening rain, with an umbrella and luggage. For someone with average stamina, it would be no problem at all. While the hotel breakfast didn't have a huge variety, it offered items I enjoyed, so I was very satisfied every morning. Their honey, labeled 'honeycomb,' was particularly interesting and delicious; I found it exceptionally sweet and fragrant, though I wonder if it was just my imagination. There were four magnetic signs on the door to indicate whether housekeeping 🧹 was needed. I chose not to have my room cleaned as I don't like others touching my bed. Each morning, I'd just place the trash outside the door and ask for two bottles of water. Inside JR Sapporo Station, there are many places to eat and shop. I bought Sapporo Agricultural College cookies, which weren't too sweet, at the Hokkaido specialty store on the first floor. There were many other shops I didn't have time to browse. Don't miss the JR Observation Deck on the 38th floor! You can go during the day, at night, or at dusk to watch the sunset. It's very convenient and beautiful. A taxi to Shiroi Koibito Park cost around 3000 yen, which is a bit pricey. Other places like Odori Park and the Ferris wheel are much closer, costing just over a thousand yen. Some reviews mentioned that the north side is quieter than the south. I agree. Since I don't enjoy shopping, the north side was perfect for me. Perhaps because my room was at the end of the hallway, it was exceptionally quiet. The guests next door seemed very quiet too. Sometimes it was so quiet it felt almost desolate. Maybe the soundproofing of the windows is excellent."
