"Our appetizer was steamed egg with fresh sea urchin, a delightful contrast of raw and cooked that highlighted both sweetness and intense freshness. Then came the cooked scallop, crowned with a dollop of caviar. The recommended way to enjoy it was to first savor a tiny bit of caviar for a taste of the ocean, then enjoy the scallop and remaining caviar together in one mouthful, followed by a refreshing sip of chilled sake. The speed at which the dishes were served could practically qualify for a Guinness World Record! The server stationed near the entrance discreetly observed us throughout our meal. Typically, within about ten seconds of us finishing a dish, they would gently approach and ask if they could clear the plate. The next course would then arrive within approximately five minutes. In fact, I found myself deliberately slowing down my eating pace, half-jokingly fearing the kitchen wouldn't be able to keep up with us. Sashimi, tempura, pan-seared wagyu... I couldn't help but wonder if the head chef here was Chinese? Regardless, the kitchen absolutely nailed it – delivering both incredible speed and excellent quality."

"Everything is good, the food is very exquisite, the sense of ceremony is full, but the food is exquisite, the actual taste and ingredients are ordinary, no merit or fault. The overall experience is affirmed. Before booking, I saw in the comment area that the charge for bringing children is no more than 1,000 yuan per person. When I settled the bill, I was shocked to see the price. One child added almost 4,000 yuan per night. We brought two children and added 8,000 yuan per night, which is equivalent to one night's room rate. I especially want to know if the hotel has always charged this way? We stayed for two nights and added almost 16,000 yuan. The room type we booked on Ctrip did not include dinner. It was simply a big sucker. Just a reference for the Chinese compatriots behind, you don’t have to stay, you can stay. The hotel is OK in all aspects, the public area is pretty, the room is large but lacks design. It’s more homely! But there are few facilities, it’s not suitable for parents and children, and the price discourages parents and children. I stayed in Park Hyatt in Kyoto, Japan, a very good hotel. The children were only charged for breakfast. The cost of the children in the Azuki Seat is too exaggerated. In addition, the Shikotsu Lake next to the hotel is quite beautiful, but the transportation here is really inconvenient. The hotel has a pick-up at Chitose Airport, but it is only at 16:45 in the afternoon, so it is really difficult to connect. We took a taxi because there were few cars at night, and the taxi cost about 500 RMB. A taxi from the hotel to Sapporo JR is about 1000 RMB. "The hotel is conveniently located on the 4th floor of New Chitose Airport's international departures terminal. The hotel is very new overall and boasts stylish decor. The front desk staff spoke excellent English and had hotel guides available in multiple languages. After check-in, the bell staff helped with luggage and introduced the hotel facilities. Upon reaching the room, they even asked if I'd like them to knock on the door first, following Chinese custom, which I found very thoughtful. The hotel's fourth floor features a lounge, a gym, and an onsen (hot spring). The onsen is divided into male and female baths, each with separate key card access. Although the baths aren't large, the water quality is excellent, and the toiletries provided are comprehensive and smell wonderful. My room offered views of planes taking off and landing – an absolute delight for any aviation enthusiast. This time, I had my luggage sent directly from my previous hotel using a delivery service (Takkyubin) in advance, and it was already placed in my room when I checked in. Arriving at the airport in the afternoon, I could walk ten minutes to the domestic terminal for diverse shopping and dining options, with many souvenir shops open until 8 PM. On the international side, there's also a larger Don Quijote where you can buy cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, though its operating hours are 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Overall, it was a fantastic travel experience, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Sapporo!"

"You can book your train ticket from the airport to JR Sapporo Station via Trip.com. At the gate, find the blue automatic ticket machine and use the QR code provided to get your paper ticket. Once you arrive at Sapporo Station, transfer to the Namboku subway line, two stops towards Makomanai, and get off at Susukino Exit 4. Enter the mall and go up to the 7th floor to check in. The hotel's location is excellent, and it's very clean and new. I stayed here twice during my trip. Do not take the airport bus; the intervals are long, and you'll freeze while waiting in line in the cold wind."

"For our last night, we chose to stay near Sapporo Station. Initially, we thought about taking the bus, but it's too slow, so we ended up taking the JR train to the airport. If you're traveling with kids, I'd recommend booking reserved seats, especially during peak season, as non-reserved seats might not be available. For shopping and dining, I personally found Tanukikoji to be more convenient. This area near Sapporo Station gets very quiet after the department stores close at night. We ended up taking a taxi to Don Quijote in Tanukikoji, and it was bustling there... We booked a twin room, and for Japan, it was quite spacious. We dropped off our luggage the day before check-in, and the staff were very friendly and even helped us carry our bags when we checked in. The hotel is very close to Rokkatei, and there's a 7-Eleven right across the street. Plus, the airport shuttle stops right in front of the hotel, though it only runs four times a day (in the morning). I also recommend the 'little bird cookies' from the Shiki Hokkaido store at Sapporo Station."

"Location: Unbeatable. An easy sub-10-minute walk to Sapporo JR Station, even with a 30” and a 20” suitcase. Room Size & Design: Perfectly adequate and smartly designed. The inclusion of both a full-height mirror and a medium-sized wall mirror at the desk was brilliant for makeup. Coffee Amenities: Above and beyond! The room had instant coffee, creamer, and sugar, plus a Nespresso machine. They generously provide 6 capsules per day (we enjoyed 12 capsules over our 2-night stay). Verdict: A top choice for convenience, comfort, and a quality caffeine fix in Sapporo."

"Our stay at Cross Hotel Sapporo was nothing short of amazing! We are a group of 5 & were traveling around Hokkaido, starting & ending off in Sapporo. We emailed the hotel to request if they could store some luggage for us till we return, as well as help us with restaurant reservations, and the staff were super prompt & extremely nice to accede to our requests. We even got upgraded to bigger rooms when we returned! We always felt so welcomed by the staff who were very attentive & so willing to help us. Needless to say rooms were very comfortable & onsen was great too (equipped with Dyson hairdryers). Location is also good, accessible via an underground passage all the way from the Sapporo station to Marumi Coffee Stand (so convenient cos it was raining when we arrived). Thank you so much for the great experience, I will gladly return to Cross Hotel!"

"The Sapporo Grand Hotel boasts an excellent location. Established in 1934, it was situated directly opposite the then-prefectural government office, likely to accommodate officials visiting Hokkaido for business. The hotel has a classic, vintage feel; from its decor to the elevators, everything takes you back many years. If you've booked an executive room, you can check in on the 4th floor and are allowed an early check-in. Otherwise, the main lobby strictly enforces the 3 PM check-in, which can be a bit inconvenient. The hotel's ventilation system isn't the best, as there was a noticeable odor in the hallways. The internet connection was only decent in the mornings, becoming quite slow and laggy in the evenings. The room cleanliness was good, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The Bvlgari toiletries were a pleasant surprise. The executive lounge was excellent, offering food and drinks from 10 AM until 8 PM. An airport bus stop is conveniently located right outside the hotel. However, be sure to plan your departure time carefully, as the journey to the airport takes 1.5 hours."

"The room was spotless and quite spacious for Japan, making for a very comfortable stay. The amenities provided were top-notch, and the service was excellent. We particularly appreciated the daily access to the lounge, which offered a good selection of snacks and drinks."

"The location is unbeatable, and the service has always been great. I stayed here for one night last year, and it was my first choice for Sapporo again this year. Before my trip, I emailed a few hotels with questions, and only this one responded promptly and enthusiastically. My only minor complaint is that the breakfast selection was a bit limited. I'd only booked breakfast for one day, and at 9:30 AM, I suddenly realized breakfast ended at 10 AM, so I rushed to grab something quick. Otherwise, the cleanliness and everything else were very satisfactory."
