The hotel is centrally located, about 800 meters from the Parliament and a couple of kilometers from downtown Bucharest. It's well-equipped; during our four-day stay, the rooms were cleaned every day. Hot water was available in the bathroom immediately, the room was very well heated, and tea and water were provided. Very friendly staff. I recommend it.

Lovely hotel! The hotel is 10 min walk from the old twon. Our room was very clean and spacious with great shower! The staff are incredibly polite, welcoming and friendly. The staff from cafe at the front went out of their way to get us vegan cake in the evening. The bar staff was lovely as well and drinks and food reasonably priced. The breakfast had good selection for anyone including nice vegan options. Definitely try the vegan strawberry cake, it was the breakfast highlight for us.
As they are renovating spa we couldn't use the hotel ones (we will have to come back to try). They offered options nearby but we opted for a different place for our massages in the end.
Overall great stay and we will definitely come back.

Staff were friendly and happy to help. Great location. Rooms are clean and spacious (stayed in premium single). The bed is comfortable, the place had heated flooring as well as the a/c. Breakfast was simple and good. If i had to complain about anything, and i’d be really nitpicking, it took a couple minutes for the hot water to come through.
It’s a great place to stay

Overall a good stay for the price. A good in-between for the airport and the old town part of the city. The only gripe I had was the shower head holder was broken, but otherwise an enjoyable stay.

Had a wonderful one night stay for my birthday. Was kindly upgraded to a high floor with stunning balcony views, and left a cake and bottle of fizzy.
Room was large, comfortable bed and extremely quiet. Bathroom was large with powerful shower. Hotel staff were polite and efficient. Recommend to all, hope to return .

Great location - within 10-15 mins walking distance from most of the main sites. There’s also a metro station about 4 mins walk for visiting the other sites. It’s also a 4 mins walk to the meeting points for most tours.
Hotel room - double bed was actually a double bed! :) Not two singles put together. Good amenities provided such as disposable slippers, shower gel, separate shampoo and conditioner, hand gel, body cream, face towels. Surprisingly no bathrobe was provided given the Hilton name but still a good hotel room overall.
Cleanliness - generally clean but have knocked 1 star off because a couple of the towels had other people’s hair on them when I arrived. However these were replaced with clean ones during room cleaning.
Staff - good level of spoken English and understanding. Most of the staff were friendly. They were able to accommodate my request for a quiet room.
Overall, I’d recommend this hotel for its convenient location.

We stayed at the Moxy recently and have mixed feelings. On one hand, the hotel itself is great and we enjoyed the atmosphere and the facilities. On the other hand, the service we received regarding a flight cancellation left a bitter taste.
We were originally booked for Feb 18–21. Due to a severe snowstorm on the 18th, Bucharest airport was closed and our flight was rescheduled, meaning we could only arrive on the 19th. When we contacted the hotel to explain the situation (a clear case of ”Force Majeure”) and asked for some flexibility with the dates, the staff was quite dismissive. They claimed that because the booking was made through a third-party app and not directly, they couldn't help us at all.
While we understand the technicalities of third-party bookings, the rigid and empathetic-free approach was disappointing. Despite this, we chose to extend our stay until the 22nd because we liked the hotel itself, but the way our initial request was handled definitely cast a shadow over our experience.
Bottom line: A cool hotel, but don't expect much help from management if something goes wrong with your travel plans.

The hotel’s location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk to the old town and very close to great brunch spots. There’s also a dessert place right next to the entrance, which was a nice bonus. The team was very responsive, especially as I was checking in after midnight—they reassured me and made the contactless check-in process smooth as long as I informed them in advance. Overall, it was a good stay. The only small downside was that we only had one pillow each, but aside from that, it’s a great place to stay.

GGuest UserThe hotel was very comfortable and was very clean. I would not consider it a hotel because at least during our stay they did not make the room and I think it is one of the services you expect when booking a hotel instead of another accommodation option. Finally, in our case we had the bad luck of having very disturbed people on the upper floor, which made it quite difficult for us to rest as they were heard their screams and footsteps. It is thankful that you are given a small bottle of wine of courtesy.

GGuest UserLovely clean modern hotel with friendly staff. Coffee shop linked to hotel is perfect with a huge range of drinks on the menu. No oat milk though! Rooms are clean and comfortable. Did get quite warm in room and couldn’t work air con. As it’s on a busy road there was too much road noise if you wanted the window open. About a 30 minute walk to the old town and about 39 mins from the airport. Taxis are so cheap that it didn’t matter where it was. One night our group sat in Ricks bar which is attached to the hotel and ordered a bolt delivery from a local Greek restaurant which was great. Food stops at 8pm at hotel. Hotel was a great price and served us well for the trip.

TTigernassifI recently had the pleasure of staying at the Elite World Grand Hotel, conveniently located on Basin Ekspres in Istanbul, and the experience was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment of arrival, the warm and professional demeanor of the staff was notable, catering to every need and making guests feel genuinely welcomed.
The rooms are a true highlight, exhibiting a harmonious blend of luxury and comfort, with plush bedding, state-of-the-art amenities, and breathtaking views of the vibrant city of Istanbul. The attention to detail was evident, reflecting a high standard of cleanliness and a keen eye for aesthetic elegance.
The culinary offerings at the hotel are exceptional. Each dish I tried was a dance of flavors, paying homage to the rich culinary heritage of Turkey while also offering a variety of international cuisines to suit every palate. The dining atmosphere was equally commendable, providing a pleasant backdrop to every meal.
The hotel’s location is highly advantageous, offering easy access to a myriad of Istanbul’s attractions, shopping destinations, and dining options. Whether one is in the city for business or pleasure, the Elite World Grand Hotel’s location ensures convenience.
Furthermore, the range of facilities, including a well-equipped fitness center and a serene spa, added an extra layer of indulgence to the stay, allowing guests to unwind and rejuvenate effectively.
I extend my sincere compliments to the entire team at Elite World Grand Hotel, Basin Ekspres, Istanbul, for making my stay memorable. The unwavering dedication to service excellence and the superior quality of facilities make this hotel a distinguished choice for any traveler seeking a blend of luxury, comfort, and authentic Turkish hospitality.

TTengSuperb location right in the heart of old town in Bucharest. Room is large with space for luggage. Breakfast are good, the staff are excellent in their service, not only friendly but also assist us in liaise with local Uber driver for transfer due to the limited driveway. Back door leads to the entrance towards the old town while the main doors are meant to go towards the subway and transport via the main road. Highly recommended if you wish to stay right in the old town and spoilt for choices to various restaurants, pubs and shops for accessibility.

AAvi DavidsonThe hotel is perfectly located in the center of Bucharest and still I could find parking space for my rental car nearby the hotel at all times. Rooms are clean, spacious enough and breakfast was on the better side of the average.

GGuest UserConveniently located, a 5-minute walk from bus and tram stops. The reception was friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was a bit lacking. We found the room dirty upon check-in, a result of not properly scheduling housekeeping shifts. The property is very large, as are the rooms. The maintenance of the rooms is definitely lacking, especially the bathrooms, which are unfinished and have exposed and/or damaged pipes. The price is very reasonable. You get what you pay for. Next time I visit Bucharest, I'll choose another hotel.
