"We were told our room was "steps from the ocean". Not exactly true. They failed to tell us that the room was on the second story and not "6" steps from the ocean. I found the ceiling in the bathroom was falling down. I found broken slats on a blind. The return vent for the air conditioner was extremely dirty...not sure when it had been cleaned. And there was a note on the fridge to make sure we left the room as clean as when we found it and make sure we emptied all our trash in the dumpster. Plus next to that note was an envelope for tips for the maid. My tip is simple. Please see to it the room is in fact clean, including the return vent on the HVAC system. And maybe it would be a good idea to fix the ceiling in the bathroom, before it comes down on someone. When you pay Hilton Hotel prices for a place, you should give Hilton Hotel value. "
