"The hotel is located beside the beautiful Sal river. A little inside from the main road, hence no road side noise. We had booked normal room, but it's upgraded to cottage room due to some issue with the room we'd booked. The room we stayed was well maintained, only problem was the AC, as it's automatically set, at early morning its becoming super cold. I was unable to set it with the remote (not a big issue though). 0nly breakfast was available. The food was awesome. All the staff were very helpful. The beach, shacks, restaurants with live music and shops were just a walk away."

"Stayed in this wonderful Portuguese-style hotel for a week with my friends from 17 till 24 of March 2024. We arrived at 10 and were checked in immediately. Everything was great-the room was cleaned every day, the hotel itself is really well-groomed, every detail is well thought over, loads of flowers around, picturesque tiles, much greenery everywhere. Continental breakfast is included and there is a choice of eggs cooked in different ways,cereal,toasts with jam and butter. But the main treasure is the staff. They have always been friendly, welcoming and ready to help, especially Ish, who is everywhere-in the hotel, in beach shack and so nice and positive all the time. Thank you so much for great communication and customer-friendly approach) I would really have pleasure to come here on my next holiday again and recommend Casa De Cris to tourists."

"Really badly run hotel, At first they could not find my booking then they checked me out when I clearly stated I had a second booking, my keys got deactivated had to wait outside for nearly 20 mins before they sent new ones, breakfast is horribly bad with flies all over the pastries, croissants hard as a rock even the Executive Chef had to come and prepare 2 basic fried eggs sunny side up soft on top as the other staff could only deliver half cooked eggs simply not good enough I would not recommend this hotel"

"Located in middle of field in the interior of Cavelosim. Good for people who want to escape hustle and bustle of city life. Very little amenities, no fridge ,no Hot water Kettle in Room.Needs improvement in room service Beach 30 min walk from hotel,Food good,Complementary Breakfast very limited,Away from main cavelosim area very lonely no other guest were there we left before completion of our stay on 13th due to security issues . Being in a remote place with 2 daughters we were not feeling secure . we were the only guest in the whole resort we felt insecure Also the amenities were not available no glasses also in the room for drinking water The resorts needs more professionalism in managing. Complementary Breakfast was only 2 slices of Toast butter,Jam and coffee"

"Just returned from a two week stay. We had a wonderful time. Total pleasure and relaxation. We loved the hotel and the position. The staff were fantastic. Very good food and plenty of variety. Recommend you take your own coffee and Marmalade. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Excellent housekeeping. Restaurant very good, fantastic atmosphere, lots of entertainment. Poole area, shaded. This was ideal for us. Lots of returning guests. We fully intend to book again for next year."

"We stayed in one of the cabins overlooking the river. Very comfy large bed, daily cleaning and bedding change. Fridge , kettle, tea and coffee , plus bottles of water replenished every day. Fabulous, tranquil views of the river, bird life and local fishermen from the terrace. Breakfasts, good, local choices , plus toast, jam, eggs , fruit juice etc. Staff lovely and helpful, less than than10 minutes walk from the beautiful beach and restaurants. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable."
