NOTE: The cabin was spared by Hurricane Helene. However the surrounding areas of Avery County sustained significant damage and continue to be hard at work cleaning up and rebuilding. Choosing to rent our cabin and spend your vacation in areas that were affected by the hurricane will help the economy of these communities allowing them to rebuild and recover faster. We named our space "The Creek House" because of the bold creek that flows down the hill from the cabin. The home is located in a holler with views of the mountains in the distance. It is peaceful with sounds of water cascading over the boulders. You might also hear the occasional neighing & mooing of our neighbors on the farm next door!
