Climbing the ladder going up to the loft, is a king size bed and 50 inch Roku tv. Feel free to adjust the dining table and seats to accommodate your needs, please be mindful of damage and return to the original arrangement. Though everything is small scale, this cabin is quite cozy and is a great place to stay if you’re comfortable climbing a ladder. We have high speed WiFi and natural gas heating.The property is 5 acres on an air strip with four other cabins. There is a public fire pit with plenty of seating and BBQ pit with benches, which you’re free to use. We also have berry plants and fresh veggies in the garden during the summer to snack on and use for meals and drinks. Welcome to the Fireweed Cabin. We are 60 min from anchorage, and 15 minutes from Palmer. In Palmer you will find local gift shops, delicious food, Alaskan history, and the Alaska State Fair! A 15 min drive will put you in beautiful Hatcher Pass recreation area! This location is perfect for hiking, biking, skiing, snow machining, sight seeing, or a road trip through the mountains. The Fireweed Cabin is the perfect base for Alaskan adventures and travels.The Space: Tucked away on the back side of our 5 acres in a sprawling quiet neighborhood is our Fireweed Cabin. Upstairs there is 1 queen bed and a loveseat to take a nap or relax. Or with the FAST WIFI, you can stream your favorite show on the 50" Roku tv. Downstairs there is a sofa bed that opens into a single bed. There is a small dining table for 3, a fully equipped kitchen with olive oil, some needed spices, misc. snacks, K-cup coffee machine, and a full bathroom with a bathtub/shower with shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. There is a Front load washer/dryer with laundry soap and dryer sheets downstairs.Guest access: You have access to the entire guesthouse with a private entrance.
