Great news! We have new, fast internet, a 5G network thanks to T-Mobile. This cozy cabin has a full kitchen, full bath, wifi and sleeps 4 comfortably. Tucked away in the woods just east of Dislodge the LTC sits on 2.2 acres it is a gem in the North Cascades.Having more people join or a family reunion? You can also book "The Nook" it is on the same property as The LTC and sleeps 3/4 people. "Dislodge." It is right next door and sleeps 8 people. Both available to book through Airbnb.The spaceThe LTC, a cozy cabin in the woods! This one bedroom cabin with a full kitchen and bathroom sleeps 4 comfortably. Enjoy the flat screen Tv with dvd player and or wifi. The LTC is a great place to relax after a long day skiing or hiking. Also, a great place to hang out for the day while enjoying the great outdoors of Glacier, Mt. Baker ski area and the Mt. Baker/Snoqualmie national forest. Just a 1/4 mile from Glacier you can wonder through the woods to town where you will find Grahams store, 2 restaurants, The Wake and bakery, and The Glacier ski shop. We are also just 17 miles from the Mt. Baker ski area.Guest accessGuest can access the creek and the surrounding grounds. There are also trails through the woods to Glacier.Other things to noteThere is a 2 night minimum from Dec. 1st - March 31st, however don't be afraid to ask for one night midweek or last minute. Please don't "request" one night but send a message for a better response.Pets must be pre arranged with Owner, there is an additional fee of $50.00. Pets must never be left unattended in cabin, they must remain on the main floor and off all beds and furniture. You are also responsible for cleaning up after your dog and disposing of poop properly. Please notify us of any damage.There is no cancellations or last minute changes due to weather.There is Wifi available. Most of the time it is great but sometimes issues out of our control affect it. Semi private, set back in the woods, The Nook has lots of windows to enjoy the forest. Enjoy the hiking trails of the Mt. Baker/snoqualmie national forest right outside your door. 17 miles from Mt. Baker ski area & 1/4 from Glacier. Cornell creek is a stroll through the woods. Also, enjoy trails through the woods to Glacier.The spaceThis little cabin is brand new. The modern style has a pine ceiling and iron accents. The loft has lots of windows and is super cozy with a queen bed. Do keep in mind that you have to navigate a ladder to get into the loft. There is a sofa bed on the main floor as well. There is a propane fireplace in kitchen and living room to dry out and get cozy.Having more people join or a family reunion? Stepping down into the first floor you'll discover one bedroom with 2-full size beds, one bedroom with 1-queen size bed plus 1-set of bunk beds with a full-size bottom bunk, a family room with a sitting area plus a DVD/VHS monitor, and a shuffleboard table, a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer, and one full bath. Just outside the main floor is a privacy deck with a hot tub and a gas grill. Yes, indeed folks...this one truly has it all! This pet-friendly vacation property will sleep up to 11-persons (enforced Maximum Occupancy). The Mount Baker Recreation Area is a year-round playground! SUMMER Guests enjoy great hiking, mountain biking, mountain climbing, rock climbing, backpacking, freshwater fishing (lake and river), small game hunting, whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing, nature viewing and golf. The second bedroom also has deck access. The third bedroom is also quite spacious. All beds are queen-sized and feature pillow-top mattresses, high thread count Pima cotton sheets, and cozy down comforters.A large main floor bathroom includes slate flooring and a combination tub and shower.Outdoor AmenitiesThe cabin features two decks. The main deck, accessible from the great room, is equipped with a BBQ grill and outdoor seating for dining, lounging, and enjoying the scenery. Stairs from this deck lead down to the fire pit area.(see below) The second deck, shared by the two upstairs bedrooms, offers comfortable chairs for relaxation amidst the surrounding trees.Please note that Whatcom County regulations prohibit open fires within 25 feet of flammable materials, including trees. However, please be aware that occasional outages can occur due to our remote location. As an alternative, wifi is available from the parking lot of the Snowline Community Clubhouse and the Chair 9 restaurant, both less than a half mile from the cabin.For FamiliesFor guests traveling with young children, a Pack-and-Play and a high chair are available upon advance request.Our PresencePlease be aware that we have a small, separate apartment attached to the side of the cabin, which my husband and I very infrequently use when we need to be in Snowline. This private space has its own driveway and entrance, separate from the guest areas and not visible from the front of the cabin.
