"We stayed here after hiking Mount Kitayokodake. There were many families with children. I've been on weekdays before, and if you choose your time carefully, the baths and restaurant aren't too crowded. The open-air bath is wonderful! It's luxurious to have it almost to yourself for most of the time. The room we stayed in was quite old, and we found two toilet bugs. It was extremely dry, so we set up a humidifier right next to the bed. It was great to be able to use the shuttle bus to the station on the way back. Overall, I think it's worth the price. I'd like to stay here with my family next time."

"It was a pension located in a very quiet forest. The couple's thoughtfulness and the wife's smile were lovely. The welcome drink and cake were very nice and warming. I was surprised that there was no air conditioning in the room even though it was summer, but it was really cool and I slept comfortably. The room had an antique feel and the lighting was cute, and the massage chair in the shared bath was very comfortable. It's a fond memory. Thank you."

"1. The driver was very helpful. Pick-up and drop-off are at the East Exit of Kayano Station. Advance booking is required. The journey from Kayano Station is about 30 minutes. 2. The hotel consists of two or three buildings built along a waterfall. The lobby is very beautiful. 3. The open-air hot spring is nice, and there are private baths available. Each room can reserve one free 30-minute session. On the day of the visit, there was a board in the lobby where snow was being laid directly on the floor. 4. The food mainly features wild vegetables from the mountains of Nagano. The Shinshu beef and Tateshina curry were excellent. There was no sashimi or similar dishes. The appetizers were more Western-style. 5. This year is the hotel's 100th anniversary, and they gave us a beautiful notebook as a gift. 6. The hotel has a rich collection of books, but unfortunately, it's a bit of a shame that guests who don't understand Japanese can't read them. 7. There is a hiking trail in the back mountains."
