"No complaints whatsoever, apart from the hot weather. The location is fantastic, and the environment is stunning – it truly felt like a scene out of the 'Wizard of Oz'. Jintan Beach is right downstairs, perfect for taking the kids to catch small crabs and collect seashells. However, compared to Yintan Beach, the water quality here is slightly inferior. On the bright side, Jintan offers better value for money, and most importantly, the sunsets here are absolutely breathtaking. The swimming pool downstairs is also excellent – clean and well-maintained. Dining options nearby are plentiful, and if you don't feel like going out, you can easily order food delivery to your room."

"Very large hotel, feels like thousands of rooms in a maze-like configuration in a mouse hotel. Breakfast is cheap enough, across from rail station so that’s why most people book this hotel I suppose."

"I had a great stay with Yezi apartment hotel. I had a great view of the sea and city. The apartment is close to old town where we often went for dessert and food. There are plethora of restaurants around. Honestly, you will not go hungry in this city. Great fresh seafood choices. We were often in Silver and Gangqiao beach which is quite far with 20-30 minutes cab ride. Otherwise, this hotel is convenient and clean."

"This stay far exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, just a 15-minute walk to Beihai Old Town, making shopping and commuting a breeze. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was as soft as a cloud, and I slept soundly all night. Waking up in the morning, I could even see the street view from the window. The receptionist was incredibly attentive, patiently recommending nearby restaurants and offering complimentary coffee, milk, and sugar. There's a washing machine and an elevator. Next time I'm in this city, I'll definitely choose this hotel again!"

She personally escorted us to our room and even held the elevator door for us. Her attention to detail was impeccable. She also sent a welcome message on WeChat, proactively providing our delivery address, Wi-Fi name and password, and electric scooter rental information. These thoughtful details showed her dedication, and we are very grateful for her excellent service. The hotel is very close to Silver Beach, within a ten-minute walk. The room had a fantastic view of the sea, and the surrounding scenery was beautiful, with distinctive architecture, ensuring a pleasant stay every day! The room was spacious, bright, and clean. It included a washing machine, refrigerator, stove, sink, and clothes rack, so we didn't have to worry about finding a place to dry our clothes. Each room had air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable and restful sleep. Restaurants and supermarkets were right next to the hotel, along with a street full of eateries. The location was convenient, and the hotel offered excellent value for money. It's a truly wonderful hotel, and I will definitely choose it again next time I visit Beihai!"

"As someone who travels frequently for work and rarely writes positive reviews, my experience at the Wyndham Beihai this time made me willing to share my feelings. Upon arrival, carrying heavy luggage, receptionist Lin Xiankun proactively offered to help. Check-in was efficient and quick, and she even thoughtfully asked if I needed a buckwheat neck pillow, patiently explaining the location and hours of the hotel's laundry room and gym. She also kindly printed out my contract documents. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise; the buffet offered a wide variety, from freshly made noodles to fresh fruit. Server Qin Fang was attentive throughout, arranging a window seat for me to ensure I wouldn't be disturbed and to enjoy a good view. She politely greeted me while clearing away food, and her meticulous service made me feel incredibly warm. The Chinese restaurant where we had our meeting was also excellent – ​​very satisfying! I initially just wanted a place to stay, but I was deeply moved by the thoughtful service throughout. A hotel that pays attention to detail and provides genuine service deserves to be known by more people, and I will definitely choose it again next time I'm in Beihai for work!"

"The service at Shangri-La is truly impeccable! It more than makes up for the somewhat dated room facilities. The light meals at the Club Lounge are also quite good and satisfying. However, the shower curtain and bathtub are definitely due for an upgrade. There are only 3 EV charging stations in the underground parking garage. On the positive side, the swimming pool is very clean and features a water slide. The hotel also boasts a private beach. The hotel arranges a seafood gathering activity, but it's only available on weekends, so we unfortunately missed out."

"After returning from Weizhou Island, it was a hassle to pick up my large luggage from the hotel with the baggage claim ticket and then take it to the ferry. The hotel service was excellent; they stored my big luggage for 4 days, which was a huge help. I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express for a total of 10 days and took a trip to Weizhou Island – truly the best of both wellness and travel."
